It pains my heart to see the level of hatred we have for each other as being exhibited on this thread.

I read the initial post and really sympathised with the OP irrespective of what tribe he is.

But the comments or words we use against other tribes really hurts them and this is an eye opener for each and everyone of us.

I have been a member of nairaland for long and i know how nairlanders used to help one another not minding tribe. But what we are seeing today shows that things have changed for the worse.

I am Igbo and a Nigerian and we should love and sympathise with everyone.

Even a foreigner would not get the kind of cold treatment the OP is getting.

Lesson :
Be mindful of other people's feeling and don't abuse them online or offline.

Don't mock or abuse other people's tribe. It hurts them and leaves an impression.

The usage always crack me up but I don't think you can outrightly label Tinubu and his Yoruba fans in APC slaving it up for BooHarry as Afonja, since they were the most powerful bloc amongst Yorubas before the election. The PDP bloc also have Afonja qualities.

Evidently, you have two Afonja-esque blocs within one group and that's terrible. Hopefully, the neutrals can grab power from both Afonjas and restore Yoruba people where they ought to be.
