While making a shoe we make use of a mould also called last which all come in different sizes.

While making the shoe one must tighten the leather around the last that there are no air bubbles nor spaces between the Leather and the last.

But then if you use size 40 (example) and the shoe you bought was made with size 40 last it will definitely be of discomfort at first but overtime your feet will reshape it, expanding the leather as your feet becomes the new mould for the shoe .
