Please experts in the house. My Golf 4 2002 model manual trans, revs up and down intermittently especially when you slow down. The moment it begins like that, i will switch off the engine and start it again which normally clear up the problem. it may come up again later on. i have cleaned up the throttle block and it only reduce in frequency. After cleaning the TB, the problem comes up once in a while. Please does anyone have idea on what to do for a permanent solution instead of switching off and on. I love to do it myself once i am directed on what to do. Thanks

Finally i got it resolved.
After another rescan, i had a throttle/acceleration pedal position sensor with a code. So, the pedal sensor was to be checked.
I loose the pedal and clean the sensor of any dirt, get it connected again and fix the pedal. That is all i did and since then EPC has finally disappeared.
No more sudden hesitation and the car moves easily and finely.

well, no more jerking as at now but the only problem that do exist intermittently is the EPC which once appear will make the car to drag. After a switch off and on it returns to normalcy.

I have checked what you asked me to check and my mechanic has also worked on the throttle. i guess there is still some things we are not getting right, hence the rescan.
The issue now is the once-in-while appearance of the EPC on the dash board.Help still needed.

here are the results after a rescan.
1. Engine coolant temperature -high voltage. 2. EGR potentiometer too low. 3. Fan 1 control circuit, short circuit to ground. 4. Fan 2 control circuit short circuit to ground. 5. camshaft position sensor range performance. 6. Map control engine cooling thermostat- open circuit F 265. 7. Bank 1 sensor 2 heater circuit, open circuit. 8. Oxygen sensor circuit bank 1 sensor 2 high voltage. 9. Throttle/pedal position sensor 1/2 G79+G185- implausible signal.
Can anyone help interpret all these and possible solution to these?

And i thought EPC means Electronics Power Control?

I recently replaced my 2003 VW Bora 1.6L engine to 2.0L engine as advised by my Mechanic.( A manual transmission car). After the replacement, i discovered an intermittent jerkings with a permanent EPC on the dash board. With computer, i was told that i need to change the no 3 coil which was changed. With the use of the Diagnostic tool the EPC sign was cleared.
After a smooth ride for some minutes i will suddenly have that EPC reappeared and a serious drag movement. No matter how you accelerate the drag movement persist until i switch 'off and on' the car before the EPC disappeared and smooth ride will be restored. After some minutes again the EPC will reappear and the serious sluggish movement will begin. It continues in that cycle.
I complained and now they are looking at the exhaust as the culprit.
Does anyone have idea on what to do and any good VW car mechanic in Abuja? Am really fed up with their work

THE STRANGER

Years after I was born, my Dad met a stranger who was new to our small town. From the beginning, Dad was fascinated with this enchanting newcomer and soon invited him to live with our family. The stranger was quickly accepted and was around from then on.

As I grew up, I never questioned his place in my family. In my young mind, he had a special niche. My parents were complementary instructors: Mum taught me good from evil, and Dad taught me to obey. But the stranger... he was our storyteller. He would keep us spellbound for hours on end with adventures, mysteries and comedies.

If I wanted to know anything about politics, history or science, he always knew the answers about the past, understood the present and even seemed able to predict the future! He took my family to the first major league ball game. He made me laugh, and he made me cry. The stranger never stopped talking, but Dad didn't seem to mind.

Sometimes, Mum would get up quietly while the rest of us were shushing each other to listen to what he had to say, and she would go to the kitchen for peace and quiet. (I wonder now if she ever prayed for the stranger to leave.)

Dad ruled our household with certain moral convictions, but the stranger never felt obligated to honour them. Profanity, for example, was not allowed in our home - not from us, our friends or any visitors. Our long time visitor, however, got away with four-letter words that burned my ears and made my dad squirm and my mother blush. My Dad didn't permit the liberal use of alcohol but the stranger encouraged us to try it on a regular basis. He made cigarettes look cool, cigars manly, and pipes distinguished. He talked freely (much too freely!) about sex. His comments were sometimes blatant, sometimes suggestive, and generally embarrassing.

I now know that my early concepts about relationships were influenced strongly by the stranger. Time after time, he opposed the values of my parents, yet he was seldom rebuked... And NEVER asked to leave.

More than fifty years have passed since the stranger moved in with our family. He has blended right in and is not nearly as fascinating as he was at first. Still, if you could walk into my parents' den today, you would still find him sitting over in his corner, waiting for someone to listen to him talk and watch him draw his pictures.

The scripture you quoted above is not in Matthew but in John. But then you must understand, that passage especially verse 29 is for two sect of people. 1. the just 2. the unjust. for the just they will hear him and respond on the rapture and the unjust will hear him and obey to the command of resurrection to damnation on the great White throne judgement.
Mind you the trumpet can sound at any time. This is the expectation of the believers who are alive now.

As much as there is no need for vain arguments on the established truth of the scripture. I need to point out these to you for clarity!
When a saved person( one who is born again and free from life of sins) dies. He is buried. His body remains in the grave but his soul goes to the Paradise.( Remember the thief on the cross and Lazarus in the scripture - Luke 23:43; Luke 16:22)
When a sinner(an unconverted man living in sin) dies in his sin. His body remains in the grave too but his soul goes to hell ( a place of torment)- Luke 16:22,23; Mark 943-48).
However, when the trumpet sounds, those who have died as righteous ones will resurrect from the grave(there will be a literal/physical resurrection of their body from the grave)their soul unite with their bodies again as it happened to Christ when he resurrected. They will have a transformed body, ecclesiastic body, heavenly body to meet the Lord.(1Thessalonians 4:14-17; 1 Corinthians 15:52,53)
The living believers as at the time of the trumpet sounding will also have a transformed body to join them to meet the Lord - (1 Thessalonians 4:17; 1 Corinthians15:52).
Now, while these are going on the sinners(those who died in sins) will remain where they have been until the final day of judgement at the great White throne judgement. This is where all sinners who have ever lived (dead and alive) will appear physically to face God's judgement and eventually will be cast into the lake of fire. At this time, the grave, the seas, and hell will give up all the dead in them to face eternal and final judgement.( Please read Revelation 20:11-15)
Note, that at this time believers will not partake in this judgement. Blessed are those who are only spectators on this day.

chronique: Well,in terms of feeding,cannines get used to the type of food you start them with especially when they are imported breeds. Mongerels(local breeds) can eat about anything but it's not usually so with imported breeds especially if they're full breeds. I just realised from their attitude to food served,that they liked having fish or meat mixed in their meal. Like I said,at puppy stage,they got introduced to different foods and each time you prepare a particular meal and serve them,their reaction to the food tells you they don't want it. If you leave them with it,you'll come back next morning and meet it the way you left it. It's a clear sign they don't want it. They'd sniff the food before putting their mouth in it. I think it's how you start them as regards their feeding. In terms of them giving signals and alerts to things happening around,it has to do with training. Dogs expect you to lead them and not the other way round cos it's a lot of work for them to keep you in line. Owning a dog goes beyond tying it to a stick/locking it up and giving it food. You need to spend quality time with them and let them know they must be subject to alL humans in the house else,you'd have an uncontrollable and willful dog that would only wanna do what he/she wants. You have to give them commands to follow at an early stage,and also interract and communicate with them like humans. Believe you me,they'd understand. You have to show them what to do regularly and from there they'd pick up. Very energetics dogs like dalmatians,bullmastiffs,rottweilers,could be difficult at the start because of their high levels of energy but constant and continuos exercise/trainings would yield results if done in an assertive manner. It's in the dog's instincts that you should take charge while they follow. If you're passive on them,they'd never learn anything. You have to spend time to develop them and teach them mainly by communicating what you want and do not want,in a firm and assertive manner. They also need regular exercise to develop their bones and muscles. You need to take them for a walk regularly. Never allow them walk in front of you. It gives them the impression that they are in charge. They should walk behind or beside you. When entering or coming out of a gate or door,make sure you go in/come out first. It's a sign you're in charge. Basic thing with training a dog is communication and dedication. Time must be spent with them and you must learn to observe their behaviours while doing these.

As much as i get thrilled and encouraged by this your post. I would like we limit our message on revelation of mere men and focus more on the gospel message which is the revelation from God. This is to avoid the critics bringing erroneous teaching against established truth.
Well the critics will oppose the revealed truth but let us remain on the scriptural revelation. This go along way to bring conversion to man. ' what is the chaff to the wheat'. Revelation of men will fade away but the words of Christ never fade away to bring lasting impact in man.

chronique: Well,used to feed them with a variety of foods,depending how bouyant. From puppy stage,you do the regular milk,biscuits,bread,pap,custard stuff and as they progress,you introduce them to the canned foods. Pedigree and jojo are 2 popular good brands and they come in a variety of rabbit/chicken/lamb(I think) meat. You can feed them per can or mix the canned meat with rice. Feeding them solely on canned food could get pretty expensive later as they'd need more cans per meal based on their kg as they grow. You can also feed them with crunchies(cookie-like shaped hard biscuits made by pedigree/jojo). It helps them exercise their jaws while chewing from puppy stage(think about 8-12 weeks if I'm not mistaking). We used to go to the eatery to get left overs for them then but we realised they didn't like it. They'd just pick the bones out and leave the rice. Your dog's case might be different. We also used to buy chicken neck/bum-bum from eateries in kg then. We'd boil them and cut them in bits to mix with their rice so they can eat it(they used to reject plain rice. Guess it's cos of the way we started feeding them;they got used to seeing meat in their food). In the absence of that,you can substitute with fish. Marsh the fish with the stock and mix it in their rice. If you wanna give them stuffs like eba,you've got to use soups like ewedu,okro,ogbono. Use soups that are slimy. Reason is,dogs don't chew;they lap up food. They need stuffs that would make it easy for them to swallow. They might lick up ur egusi/vegetable from your eba and wait for you to come and pack the food away. If you want them to eat eba or any solid food,cut the balls small,small and pour plenty of soup in it. Mix it well and avoid giving them solids that sticks togwther to form a big lump. They'd finish it in no time. Cheap soup you can make for them is okro with crayfish blended in it and smoked or iced fish scattered in it. You can also feed them with noodles;they'd eat it well. I don't know about other dogs but my experience with ours was that,they wouldn't eat stuffs like yam or beans. Serving them that was a waste. Also aid their feeding with multivitamins(they have their own. It's usually sold at most vet clinics). It helps to improve the sound of their bark and gives them that thick scary voice. Dogs don't eat fruits;don't waste your time giving them that. Above all,do not forget to wash them regularly with their shampoo,medicated soap and their chemical so as to drive ticks away. One more thing. Check your dogs regularly,run your hands through their fur for ticks and fleas and pick them out as often as you can. Check their ears and paws regularly for ticks as they hide there quite often. And most importantly,do not press/kill the ticks/fleas on the floor when picking them out. Else the eggs in the blood from the tick that you've killed,multiplies and causes more infection for the dogs. When you pick them out,put them in a small cup filled with kerosene and they'd die off. As for my vet,I used to use barry vet,a vet on the mainland. At the moment,I no longer have dogs due to some unfortunate/mysterious events that happened but I intend replacing them soon with boerbulls or bulldogs. If I find a dalmatian,I'd be very happy too.
