Me see humility in the person of Prof Yemi Osibanjo. He looks simple and does not dress flamboyantly like a professor of Law or a VP to be, he mingles with common man on the streets, talks to them in person instead of printing posters and sending out paid campaigners to the streets... If Nigeria is ready for business, I think this man has got a listening ear and a people-person personality that we need in a leader...

This road show is beginning to get on my nerves. Thank heaven am not partisan. What policies and plans of action have they articulated ? I have not seen any. The duo should know that this contest is not Lagos state governorship contest. Lagos is just one out of 36 states. They should not be deceived by hypes on the social media. Apc need a lot of work to do. Anyway, When I look at it deeper,I see in these apc/pdp issues as a contest of three major ethnic groups trying to outsmart one another in the struggle for power.

Went to yola for a wedding....a guy that works with private electrical company Mubi branch gave me an account of how it happened....that he was left with just the shirt and trousers he wore. They burnt the room he was renting.
He said boko spared muslims and killed christians like goats. Once they doscpver you are not a muslim, they kill you.

On the wedding i attended in yola, a guy i knew in lagos, whose father retired from the army and relocated to adamawa, he was a student of adamawa state university, mubi. He said after their exams, he decided to spend an extra day in school before travelling to yola only for the boko boys to ataack the next day. He said, he and many others entered cameroon on foot for their safety before taking another route to nigeria back.

There is a catholic church in yola, saint theresa catholic church, i happened to pass that church,in the morning and i saw women up to 2 thousand waiting for food and clothes to be distributed to them. I was told it was a daily routine.


Browse for this church on google and also the school i mentioned on how close it is to cameroon border.

Your report is 100% correct,my cousin married a mubi indigene and a Christian.She said their Muslim neighbours where pointing to bh christian house s,businesses and churches for destruction. Right now their family house was rooted and they are taking shelter in yola. I asked why these,she said the success of christians,economic empowerment,education are too intimidating to the Muslims to bear. They are very jealous and angry with the disparity. What has he justified? He lights up some streets where they hope to make billions akin to banana island. This is part of marketing strategy for the plots of land there. Why didn't he replicate it in four corners of Lagos.is Lagos only for the super rich? This is artificial development.

His silence portends bad omen. He might have been told about her wife's affairs and was tipped off when they were romancing. Most people don't take infidelity lightly talk less of a married woman in this part of the world. You know this is one of the basis for divorce. If she is the pious type every body knows,you can imagine how she will face her family and admit to having an extra marital affair,in fact she is in big mess. Leadership is not about vast ocean of knowledge but pragmatic,strong willed person with defined objectives and defined plan of action and strong will to do the right thing. President Da Silvia that transformed Brasil economy did not attend secondary school while Gej has a PhD.

As a person who doesn't like our brand of democracy ,who feels restructuring this country is most important and a silent observer of the polity,the apc is being carried away with so much optimism.They have a lot of work to do. My questions are? Is 2015 about gmb and southwest alone? Do they think 2015 is a done deal for them? The frenzy about gmb and Southwest is becoming nauseating.I don't see other components of the country being carried along in these schemings. South West has been exposed as a battle ground leaving a swat of middle belt ,Ss and se as inconsequential but they hold the ace. This election will not be decided on social media platforms as less than 1% of Nigerians are on social media,the bulk of voters have their cards to be swayed by ethnicity and religion when the chips are down. The whole scenario is beginning to look as if the southwest is scheming to grab power so soon after obj left yesterday. I believe the outcome of 2015 election will shock Nigerians,it is then they will understand the Nigeria brand of democracy.

No,there is this notion among our youth that without a degree,you can't make it in life. People waste scarce resources and years to study philosophy,religion,linguistics,physiology,political science,library,book keeping and the rest them,then you will be pounding the Streets looking for jobs to make it and be successful? This is 3rd country and it is a misplaced priority. Not every facet of life needs a degree. Be creative driven ,be productive, work smart, strive for excellence and the sky your limit. China, Thailand,Vietnam,Indonesia,India are driving the world today not by degrees,masters or phd.

My friend they are right. With exception Algeria,I have been opportuned to visit all these countries. I just came back from Kigali last month with Rwandan airways. Just out war ,where they are now,we cannot get there in next 50 years. It's not how much you have but what do you achieve with the much you have. As am typing now my battery is dying due to lack of light,these countries have constant power supply,water and better health facilities ,security more than Nigeria. Life has no meaning here. Those who have travelled extensively will attest to their rating. How can we get there when 80% of our budget is being looted. Can you honestly say the loot like this in these countries?When we admit we are in a mess and we make efforts to do things right,we shall surely get there but for now,we have not started.

i am amused the way some e-warriors have expressed confidence that Gmb is a done deal.Without option A4 or electronic voting,it is impossible to dislodge Gej not that he is a star performer but these are apc albatrosses;

In our meeting, all the governors wanted Amaechi as vice. We had settled for him when we left. However, Tinubu wanted to be the VP, but most people were opposed to it, at the end we decided to pick Prof, since Tinubu insisted on a South West candidate. We hope that Amaechi's role as campaign DG will win us at least 25% of votes from the SE and SS. Meanwhile, those that have to play their cards better in the Nigerian political space are the Igbos.

The Yoruba's have gotten more out of Nigeria that our SE brothers ! They play smart politics , choose when to ally with the center and when to oppose it smartly NOT based of prejudice and bigotry! This way , they gain while some other folks hold on to a frankly delusional dislike for another group and consistently outdo themselves! If you want to sink with GEJ an incompetent man because you want to use him to "deny" the North power, by all means do so, but remember that you also push power further away from yourself because YOU NEED ALLIANCES (even if it is with your perceived enemies) to ever get to power! When I look West or North, I don't see the SE forming any alliances , hence I can confidently conclude that they have miscalculated again! Would you guys go and hang yourselves in 2019 when PDP rotates power to the North and your much hated Hausa-fulani muslim northerner becomes president ? Would you then run to the SW and say let's oppose them? Tinubu is a brilliant politician , he probably distrusts the North more than you do, but he understand that ALLIANCES rather than bigotry is the route to power in a country with major ethnic groups and power blocks! The guy is right. Our youth are becoming increasingly lazy but they want good things of life. Some times parents and guardians contribute to this. A word to parents and wards,if you are filling form to go and study history,philosophy,religion,physiology,political science etc.. Do not waist 4-6 years of your life for a paper called certificate when you have the ambition to be self made and well off in life. Be fixed direct into something you have flair,be committed,diligent and sincere and the sky is your limit. Most jobless people went to school learn how to speak English and certificate but not how to be successful. Any time I drive around in Lagos I opportunities staring me in face . Look around you,you will see people achieving tremendous success but you can't make it in comfort zone.It is the same principle all over the world, usa,Germany,Japan.china etc. Creativity drives the world. Our youth should banish football and awaken their creative mind. Have you seen Chinese,Indians,Lebanese involved in those frivolities and being poor? There are certain things internet/commercial,social plat forms cannot rplace in this part of the world,wisdom and due dilgence if you do not want to lose life,money or property.they have made a lot of people to be lazy and unreasonable.

This is one of the reasons national id card project should be implemented to the letter,its application will reduce corruption crime to 40%.their ids should have been checked in database to unmasked them.other countries use it for these purposes but we innitiate it for looting of billions.i did my in january and am yet to collect it.
