Davido Announces the birth of his son on Sunday, October 20, 2019, via Twitter, the 26-year-old singer calls his fiancee, Chioma, a strong wife. The pop star also revealed the name of the child as David Adedeji Adeleke Jr.

A 20-year-old boy, identified as Eyitoluwa Olayeye, has been arrested and charged in the killing of his mother, 48-year-old Kehinde Olayeye, in a downtown hotel in Austin, Texas.

A witness staying at the hotel told police he heard a woman running through the hallways screaming around 4:15 a.m. He said she was banging on doors screaming “Let me in,” before he heard her being dragged back past his room.

The victim’s sister told police the two of them had flown to Austin from Georgia to visit Eyitoluwa. She said the day before they received a call from him rambling and saying “I pray that God brings us together.” .

She also said his friends called them, saying he was telling them he found his purpose in life. The victim’s sister said they received another call from his friends saying he had been taken to the hospital for a psych evaluation. .

At the airport, they received a call from doctors at Dell Seton Medical Center asking if their family had a history of mental illness, which she said they do not. He was later discharged.

His aunt said when they arrived at the apartment her nephew seemed happy to see them and he told them he wanted to leave school, University of Texas. .

She said Eyitoluwa and his mother booked a room together and she got one by herself. The aunt said he told them God had given him a purpose. He said the hospital was trying to hold him for a mental issue but he told them what they wanted to hear so he could leave.

In an interview with police, Eyitoluwa said after class on Tuesday, he went to the UT tower to pray. He said he remembers praying but the next thing he knew he was in an ambulance headed to the hospital. .

He said doctors asked him if he was diagnosed as bipolar or manic which he told them no. He told police he remembers his mother standing over him praying, and the next thing he knew he was in the back of a police cruiser.

According to the police affidavit, when told his mother was dead, he said he must have been the one who killed her since no one else was in the room. He said he did not have a reason to kill his mom.

Friends of Hamza Bukar Mahuta have taken to social media to mourn him after he was reportedly killed by his abductors.

Ibrahim Bello, who is one of late Hamza's friend, shared the story online. According to Ibrahim, Hamza, an Architect who just completed his NYSC, was kidnapped along the Birnin Gwari- Kaduna expressway. His abducors reached out to his family and demanded for ransom in millions. After 32 days in their captivity, the kidnappers called and asked for N500, 000. They received the ransom and sadly gave his family his remains in return.

Duncan Mighty has written an open letter to former Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, claiming his life is being threatened because of money paid to him by the politician to record a song with one of his boys.

The singer shared the open letter on Instagram and revealed he has been invited by the police. He added that he is willing to return the money to the politician to secure his life and "avoid further embarrassment to his person."

Justice Sybil Nwaka handed down the sentence after convicting Adenekan of a lone count charge of defiling a two-year and 11-month-old pupil.

The little child had given a detailed description of how Adegboyega defiled her. The 47-year-old supervisor was arraigned before the Court in January 2018.

According to Titilayo Shitta-Bey, the state Director of Public Prosecution, the defendant committed the crime in November 2016.

The police officer told the court: "The child took us upstairs to the defendant's office. She identified his seat out of three seats in the room and she identified the restroom in the office where the said incident happened." .

Gracious David-West, the notorius serial killer who was arrested in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, will be arraigned before Justice Adulphos Enebeli of the state High Court today October 21st. He has arrived the court and will be arraigned soon.

Gracious who confessed to killing seven women in different hotels, was arrested on Thursday September 19, by officers attached to the Rivers State Police Command.

The 26-year old former militant from Buguma LGA of Rivers State, who is also a member of the Degbam cult group was arrested along East-West Road enroute to Uyo from Port Harcourt.
