tunlex01:This is very good news. Thanks a lot. tunlex01:Choiii. Ok na. |
Hello people. Please I'm supposed to assess with VETASSESS and will like to know if the school transcripts ought to be uploaded on the website or if I must send, can I just send from WES? Again, will submitting only employment reference, payslips and TCC suffice? Please educate me. Thank you. |
Phewww...I have finally landed here..maybe by God's grace this will be my last bus stop. We'll see. Abeg oo, what do they mean by you should not have been refused a visa before? Do they mean their Australian visa? Because USA been don show me shege oooo |
Please has anybody heard from Arizona State University? For their PhD. I applied to the Biology program. How do they manage the admissions process? Does the department interview? Can you be directly admitted by a professor? I need insights please. I haven't heard back for any interview, but I got a prospective supervisor and I'm wondering if every student has to go through a formal interview. Help. |
Congrats to everyone making it. I feel happy to see people happy. Perhaps I'm a natural carer afterall. Although, this might be the proverbial time that "God picks up calls", I'm beginning to study for my gre to face America. Still wish me well. |
efilefun:I get you, but the Isle of man is not UK. Saw a very enticing job there once too, but was not understanding the visa mata ... |
oniwoski:As innn..the silence is loudd. I've always known that the Ukrainians would complicate things, but not to this extent. It's not like they can do the work with sign language sef, because the average Ukrainian is not a good speaker of English. Las las, we will only try and not kii ourselves. Besides, there's the skilled worker route, which most Nigerians don't take advantage of and understably so, because their requirements sometimes, can make you start wondering what is bad really, about the Nigeria that is inspiring the japaa |
But again, it seems like some organisations are asking for ielts ukvi academic. I imagine we should be doing ukvi general, am I correct? |
Juxxi:Lol...I knew it was only a matter of time before they begin to do Willi Willi with people. Imagine assembling all your IELTS scores and finding the mean abi na average to use and disperse people. Dem try. Small tin, I for say the org's owned by a Nigerian. A whole band 7...lolzz. See levelss. Ontop toileting and bathing..hahahahaha |
Juxxi:All these people are getting weirder and weirder, but my dear, if they are assuring you of the position and not just to go through the rigours of competing against other people at an interview, try and do it. If you still have spare cash and can risk having an expired TB and police certs, still do. Because you are in the life with us and seeing how getting an ordinary interview has turned to applying for resident permit now ...just try. I would have done all sef, if I were in that Lagos....and nobody is even asking me to do them...yet. |
Uzland:In brief, you will pay surcharge if you clinch a Home Care Assistant or Care Worker job. Shikena. Note...Care Worker sounds like Support Worker abi? But they are not the same. Just like Home Care Assistant sounds like Healthcare Assistant...but also not the same. |
dexpendable:No too vex, but he's correct. I even tried to help you, but you were busy talking about Pearson abi na pears soap. The same Pearson that the next available date is further than the 9th, currently available for IELTS UKVI and result that will come out in 5 days after the test. Do your research, IELTS done online can be gotten as early as 3 days after. If you aren't sure of the website to use or the type of IELTS to sit for, be upfront and stop looking for people that will be playing doctor Phil with what's in your head. And now, you are even talking about Naric...tsk tsk..kaiii |
dexpendable:Infact, I can also now see April 9th for Lagos... Are you sure that you are booking to write the correct IELTS and on the correct website? |
dexpendable:I'm probably the one that does not know how to book, but I see dates for April 23rd and 27th for Abj and PH. ![]() |
Kaylaonah:You get power de explain. I don submit my submission, de go my own. LagosismyHome:Funny thing is, there's really no "way" to it. She probably means Nigeria doesn't always follow protocol. Just locate the front desks of these places I mentioned and ask to have an international licence. Unless they want to guy you and you are gawkable..... |
Honeysweetest:32 pages ..my mistake. It's quite sad and they said the officers in Asaba frustrate the living daylight out of do-it-yourselfers. Plus, I really did want it urgently. Now, it's seeming as if people waiting for booklet is the same as me. I called the lady who has asked me to go and do the capture tomorrow sha...we'll see how the prank continues from there... |
LagosismyHome:Capital YES. And wow, isn't this a moment to bask in? One which you couldn't find an info on the internet. ![]() |
jagbasneh:Go to any driving school or state boards of internal revenue and ask for international driver's licence. It's actually a thing. Costs 12k, lasts for a year and can be gotten within a week. |
My question is, how fast can fast track arrangement be, from date of capture? Paid 70k (34 pages, 5years) for so called fast track at Enugu and the agent has been talking about "no network" for three weeks now. I haven't even been called for capture. And I don't even understand the "network" she's ranting about. |
Femijoe1...I commend your enthusiasm to help, it's really adorable. However, I will like to confirm if you know anybody in "real time", that has gotten an invite after emailing these to the org. Because the last time I heard, they're actively shortlisting from only five African countries and like it so happens a lot of times, Nigeria was NOT one of them. |
mimilyrics:Thanks soo much, sis. |
Mumu question alert, please don't be angry my people. But for those who have done interviews, did you need to have your international passport at the time of the interview? |
Oops..Wrong thread. |
gistbite:Oh, I've something for senior carers in the UK, but I don't even know if they should be nurses. They should at least have experience in a senior care role though. All the best. |
@gistbite .....Are all senior carers, nurses? Do you know for sure? What role are you currently trying to get experience in? E get why I de ask. |
Thanks so much once again, I appreciate your commitment to helping us. It will only be fair that we come back in no distant time from now, to share our good results and give kudos to you for being instrumental to having it. Renewed hope does not get better than what I'm getting from conversing with you. Thank you. ![]() @dafidi08 |
@Dafidi08, thank you for the kind words. We can do with some. It just pains me that despite the fact that they need us soooo much, their dispositions do not encourage. Some of their criteria sef na war and I'd be like; " do you really effing want us to come or not?!" Asking for complex care experience and phlebotomy from carer and blah, like they want nurses on the cheap. Most are teases for real....buh we movve. Thanks! |
CeeCyrils:I think I know where you are coming from. I get that a lot too and I feel it depends on the company. Some say; "you must be authorised or be eligible to work in the UK"...like a hidden message about the availability of a CoS. I never really am sure, and apply to the ones that will allow me to go through to the end, anyway, as you must know by now that some automatically shut you out, upon saying that you don't have the right to work. By qualifications, most are specific and say relevant qualifications. Of cos, it could be tempting to add Waec, GCE, Neco and which one again, since they are ever so proud of their own vocational trainings and GSCs or whatever, but when you want to fill the part for grade (for trac jobs) and provider and year...it won't make sense. Just my understanding tho...I Neva get work to speak authoritatively ![]() |
mimilyrics:Ok...amen and thank God. |
I must mention too that all this English that I'm speaking is specific to the Health and Care visa for carers. Other fields like biological scientists and with adequate qualifications and even band 3 Healthcare assistants, still de bag am de go. It's prolly a call to redirect alllll my energy to my field in peace. |
eyinola:Sadly, you cannot. There might be other small small windows, that some UK residents now have expertise in taking advantage of sha, but there's none, that I know of from this my country that does not want to release me. |
At first, we were advised to just be tough as rejections would be many, continue applying... But now own is that heyyy, don't even bother, we have stopped accepting. Pheww...one message read that they probably would continue in the new year as they gain more financial momentum blah blah...this one that we have not even finished the first quarter of the year.
