Religion / Forgiveness:its Limits And Liftings... Part 2 by Alliteration: 5:24pm On Jul 28, 2017
FORGIVENESS is not strange to an average person in the church cycle. We have already discussed the God to man facet of forgiveness. We want to talk on FORGIVENESS OF HUMAN. We hurt people and people generally offend us, intentionally or unknowingly. How we handle this pains and still maintain Christlike forgiveness is the apple of discord. It is in the human nature to offend and no perfection can deny that. There are some situations that hurt beyond the very life... Forgiveness is not a joke at this second level. When you are disappointed or hurt by a trusted individual... Forgiveness becomes harder and almost impossible. It takes the work of grace to take away offenses. A painful event may sometimes needs praying to God to help in order to be able to forgive in some situations. Sometimes, an offended man may behave to forgive but the intention of repaying will hang deep on the inside, but When we actually forgive, remembering it will not bring bitterness. In this human forgiveness level, we must understand :
1. The Concept : Human beings don't generally forgive easily... Good deeds are written on water, bad deeds are inscribed on brass.
2. The Choice : Forgive and forget as we use to say doesn't exist in the term we use it. We FORGIVE, we do not forget but WE CHOOSE TO FORGET., as we said of God the last on justification. We can forgive in the real sense, but the word 'forget' in the ideal sense is not supposed here. Brains are given to us to remember. Even if you can't remember things, it shows a memory loss problem that needs prayer. As I have said before, it means, choosing to forget. I choose to count it as if it has never happened. I forgot it
3. The Clarity: A true test of forgiveness is your thoughts towards the person when you see him/her. Never say you have forgiven if you don't discuss the offense with the person. It is not real and Bible does not teach that. Besides, telling others of the pain is not the first step in resolving offenses, the best way is to tell the person first.
4. The Consciousness : Always be prepared that your most trusted person will offend you one day, prepare your heart to forgive the worse when it comes. You may have to pray yourself into brokenness to forgive in some cases.
5. The Cancelation : Salvation can be canceled by unforgiving heart... Read the parable of the unforgiving servant and see it's effect. Never expect divine forgiveness if the human forgiveness is not resolved and reached.
6. The Canker: Bitterness is a root(Hebrews 12:15-16), you need to dig deep into the heart to see the hurts seed sown.
7. The Counter: Never think of retaliation or revenge... You will be dethroning God... Vengeance is mine, says the Lord.
8. The Construction : Always place a positive construction on all things to avoid yourself having hypertension at young age.
9. The Critical: In case of critical cases, you may need to go for real counseling.
10. The Conclusive: Don't live a life of mistrust because you have been failed on several occasions. All men are bad, says some people. How many thousand have you met?

Religion / Forgiveness : Its Limits And Liftings by Alliteration: 10:56pm On Jul 22, 2017
THE CONCEPT of forgiveness is a wide scope. It is not a business of spiritual playboys or kid girls. It covers a wide range of life. Life depends on it, eternity depends on it and our relationship with each other clearly stands on it. There are three hierarchy of forgiveness to be discussed, but I think we can only deal with one in this part. This three levels include :
Level 1: Forgiveness from Heaven
Level 2: Forgiveness from Human
Level 3: Forgiveness of Himself/ Herself
Now, considering the level one forgiveness. What do we think of this forgiveness from God(heaven)? We must know that God forgives without remembrance, We know we are forgiven by faith, and it is not hard to obtain, since He is God. The conditions for forgiveness must be met and this may include having a contrite and broken heart. We must understand some fundamentals of this level of forgiveness which is:
1. THE SIMPLICITY : Out of the three levels of the highlighted forgiveness, God's forgiveness is the easiest but the least understandable. The hardest form of forgiveness is self forgiveness.
2. THE SURPASSING : When God forgives, he remembers no more. The question is, can God forget? It seems confusing because it is not in the nature of God to forget things. The concept of ‘He will remember no more’ means... He chooses not to remember and not that he doesn't remember at all. He decided to forget it. This brought in the term JUSTIFICATION, meaning... Just as if I had not sinned.
3. THE SIGHT: We must also see that before God can forgive, sinners must first see he needs forgiveness. Proud sinners are unwanted, Passage Sinners are Unbearable, Penitent sinners are Undeniable.
4. THE STRINGENT : Another stringent issue is that, forgiveness only comes through atonement. NO ONE RECEIVES FORGIVENESS FROM GOD OUTSIDE THE CROSS. It is JESUS ONLY.
5. THE SEEKING : God has never forgiven who never ask. He knows the sin and all sinners need of forgiveness but YOU MUST ASK.
6. THE SUBLIME : God is more willing to forgive than we are willing to request for His forgiveness... Not willing that any should perish. It is not your tears or screams that brings the forgiveness. It is applying to the mercy of the cross and your heart Readiness for a turn around.
7. THE SINFULNESS : There is but only one unpardonable sin... The sin that lays the soul of man outside the reach of grace.
8. THE SUBTLETY : Forgiveness is not a joking matter. Sin is an offense against a great God. Do not make it a habit of asking for forgiveness for the same sins because you have seen yourself failing. Get connected to the provided victory.
9. THE STRING: Forgiveness is displayed after it is accepted by faith and not a feeling.
10. THE SUPERIOR : Sin is terrible and grievous but the provision of redemption is infinitely terrific and higher than all SINS.

Religion / Leaning To Unlearn by Alliteration: 5:48am On Jul 16, 2017
Humans are generally learning beings. There are both arithmetic and geometric additions into our knowledge archive. It is generally believed that grave is the only terminating tool to knowledge. Besides, there is a basic division of experiences into the past, present and future expectations. The major set back in the learning scheme is that we have structured ourselves to forget what we ought to remember and remember what we ought to forget. It is time we started a new schooling on how to unlearn. As a Christian, we must learn to unlearn some things which include the following.
1. Stings of Pains: If you have spent over 15 years already in this world, you have seen too much already. But, life has a way of reminding us the pains and forgetting the pleasures. We wrote our good deeds on water and inscribed the painful ones on brass. We must learn to unlearn the pangs of the past. When we see fruits, we must learn to remember the sweetness of the juices and not the one time sting of bees. We gain more by managing our pains well.
2. Strings of Pollutions: Our smelling organ seems to leave us with indelible marks of bad odor. What we smelt seems to affect how we now think. Because I was injured by the thorns on rose in the yesteryears doesn't say the smell of rose is repulsive. Besides, many have already pinned a particular odor to a particular thing, even if a good thing smells like that, they are not ready to bend. Remember, two flowers could smell alike. Don't conclusively reject the best. You will hear, ‘All men are bad’…Are you drawing an absolute premise from few bad ones you met?
3. Stains of Perversions: There are three basic levels of forgiveness, from God, neighbors and oneself. The difficulty in receiving forgiveness comes in that order. It hardest for one to forgive himself. Many of us had foolish and silly pasts that dented our testimonials but we must learn to cleanse ourselves off the stains, forgive ourselves and move on. The stains and perversions of the past are present tutors and not persistent terminators. Forgive yourself and give yourself peace.
4. Slights of People: In the pathway of progress, we have met with accusations and false indictments. People that ought to understand have slighted us terribly. We must learn how to unlearn the slights we have received. No matter how wrong the slights might be, UNLEARN. Forget your slights to focus your sight.
5. Speeches that Pierces: Are the best of your sides pierced by words that ought to soothe? Can you recollect that the pierced sides of Christ generate our healing virtues? Except we forget the injury we have sustained by the kiss and miss of friends, we will only continue in deteriorating fury.
6. Steps that Plagued: Have you been plagued by wrong steps? Is that a reason to be shelled completely? We need to learn that roads look alike and might have treaded the wrong path in the past,we need to change direction and move on. Mistakes are there to be made, make one today to gain experience for tomorrow.
7. Slacked Promises: Never rest on immutability in man, you will be unable to bear the brunt. On a sincere ground of truth, promises from men might seem slack, slow or not forthcoming. This doesn't depict that promises are not fulfilled. Falling into the tokens of liars doesn't mean there are no tokens of truth. Wise up and unlearn.
8. Shattered Purposes: Purpose pursuits, so called has driven some out of their real purposes. Our purpose stand still in the face of flinching dangers. If your purpose seems shattered, unlearn the pains and relaunch. You must achieve your purpose before you leave your world. I also trust you not to be a second best settler.
9. Sealed Pride: We are too full of ourselves by fooling ourselves. We need to forget our pride and ego, so as to learn new things. On the high tower of pride, we believe we know all things. It is an ignorance to believe you know all things. Omniscient is not an attribute of mortals. Unseal your pride and learn in humility.

10. Special Performances: Do you know our goods may be our limitations. We have gotten accustomed to good performances and we see no need to improve. We see ourselves always on our best days, we are deceived and derided. Learn to unlearn some special performances, so as to enhance the best of you.

Education / Protest Forces Judge To Reverse Ex-oau Vc’s Prison Remand Order by Alliteration: 9:52am On Jul 12, 2017
A series of protest by workers and students of the Obafemi Awolowo University , Ile Ife , Osun State , on Tuesday forced Justice David Oladimeji of an Osun State High Court sitting in Ede to reverse a ruling he gave that an ex - Acting Vice Chancellor of the university , Prof. Anthony Elujoba , be remanded in the Ilesa Prison.
Following the refusal of angry workers and students of the university to leave the court premises despite the heavy presence of policemen , the judge reversed the earlier order and ruled that Elujoba should be remanded in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission .
Counsel for the accused , Ibrahim Lawal , who came to announce the reversal to the protesters , said the judge had also shifted the adjourned date from July 19 to 14 for ruling on bail application .
Elujoba and bursar of the university , Aderonke Akeredolu , who are being prosecuted by the EFCC for alleged corruption, were arraigned on Friday and the judge ruled that the two accused persons should be remanded in the EFCC custody.
He adjourned till Tuesday for ruling on their bail application .
At the Tuesday sitting , the judge ordered that Elujoba should be remanded in prison .
The order created pandemonium on the court premises .
The workers and students blocked the road leading to the court with buses , while some of them surrounded the court premises and vowed not to allow Elujoba to be taken to the Ilesa Prison.
They also threatened to occupy the Ilesa Prison if Elujoba was eventually taken there .
The ex- acting vice chancellor is being prosecuted by the EFCC for alleged corruption.
Elujoba was said to have brought peace to the OAU by paying workers allowances totalling over N 1 bn .
Elujoba acted for less than a year after the turbulent tenure of the immediate past substantive Vice Chancellor, Prof. Bamitale Omole , ended .
As the judge rose after the second ruling , many workers burst into tears , while some attacked a relation of Omole .
The relation, an old man , identified as Pastor Odun Orioke , was attacked by the angry workers who deflated the tyres of his vehicle . The pastor was rescued by some armed policemen .
All the workers and the students present demanded the unconditional release of Elujoba , but nothing was said concerning the bursar .
They said some enemies of progress of the university were using their influence to persecute Elujoba , while those who allegedly stole the university funds with impunity were left untouched .
The protesters, who chanted anti - EFCC songs , accused the agency of shielding Omole , who they said nine petitions bordering on corruption were written against .
One of them , who spoke on condition of anonymity said , “ While the EFCC refused to investigate the petitions written against Omole by labour unions in OAU , the anti -corruption agency was quick to arrest and arraign Elujoba who did not steal one kobo of the university .

Religion / Alphabet Of Surpassing Love by Alliteration: 11:19am On Jul 04, 2017
LOVE is transcending, transforming and touching. In the kingdom of darkness, there is patience, self assurance, commitment etc but not love. We must migrate from the level of superficial love showing to the level of supernal love simplifying. God is love and therefore commands love amidst His followers and children.
Where faith and hope had failed, love continues ceaselessly.
The depth of God’s love is infinitely incomprehensible. The love that transcends the best of human ability is the love of God.
This love is above:
Attractions and Adversities : Human love could be limited by attractiveness of a thing or the challenges it posses but the God kind of love(agape) surpasses that.
Beauty and Brains: it is discovered that men generally appreciate beauty and intelligence. God is not driven by that to love His own. He loves uniquely and unitedly.
Charisma and Conditions : Some build their love on the flowing charming ability of men. The love that protrudes from God cannot be purchased by charismatic men. He is the author and the finisher.
Deeds and Dreads: Some decide to show love because they fear the consequences of hatred. God’s love is not a dreaded one, just as His reverence is not dreaded.
Exercises and Emotions: Emotions doesn't go deep into the spirit. It can only stop on the soulish realm. Beyond exercises and emotions, God’s love abound.
Fears and Frights: In the terrain of terrestrial love, we don't really trust ourselves but He who knows the heart of all men love and that love casts out fear.
Good and Greatness : Are we better than the heathen, if we only love those that do us good? Jesus went about doing good to both great and small in spite their withdrawal from Him.
Habitation and Hurts: God’s habitation is in heaven and the earth is His foot stool. Hurts of men and darkened habitation of men doesn't dictate the tune of His love.

Happy Sunday... Hope you are preparing for church!
Religion / Avoidable Looks Of A Christian Folk by Alliteration: 6:01am On Jun 25, 2017
The way we look at things dictates how we look. As a Christian, some looks are not expected, and must be avoided :
1. Looking afraid: Fear has torment. It is the opposite of faith. There is therefore no reason to be afraid. Do you know that most of the things you fear don't happen? Mark 4:40
2. Looking aggressive: Some people suddenly generate aggressions because of a failed attempt. Remember, a failed attempt is not the final attempt. Your aggression will only give others a bad impression of you. Why not remain calm to all men in all situations!
3. Looking away: The source cannot be exchanged. Looking away from the source of information because of some challenges will only widen the confusion. Progressing in a journey in a wrong direction can never lead to a right destination. Don't look away from what could help you.
4. Looking affected: Moody look doesn't typify a resolute seeker. There will always be itching issues in our path to discovery but we determine which of them to scratch or sideline. Are you a tilt? Little things throw u off balance. Be a man joor.
5. Looking astray: Don't get lost in the ocean of discovery because you are the one that can easily find yourself. Come home to restructure the next outing. Downcast? Find yourself, others won't.
6. Looking afflicted: Christ doesn't promise a stormless journey, he only promised a safe landing. Don't display affliction in the hour of affection before it affects your perfection.
7. Looking abducted: Volition stands in facets of discovery. No one napped you into what you are doing. Be free in your spirit to do your best. You were not kidnapped, why hiding?
8. Looking against: Antagonists and adversaries are resident in many a people. If you are a fiend(enemy) to yourself, who will be your friend. Go not against yourself, neither against your God
9. Looking aggrieved: Offenses abound in the journey of discovery. Aggrieved souls separate themselves from all men because they were offended. The speech of Eliab to David did not grieve him to leaving the battle. He only saw an opportunity,’Is there not a cause?’ Angry men get mad before they become glad.
10. Looking arrived: Self sufficient people are far from help. After losing all as Esau, they profess an arrival of having enough. Even if you have much, be humble enough to accept others.

Happy Sunday... Add yours @alliteration 2017

Religion / 10 Looks Of A Limitless Christian by Alliteration: 11:04am On Jun 20, 2017
The foundation is like the fountain from which all things emanate. What you see determines how you see. Few people build themselves into seeing opportunities. A solid discovery foundation takes hurdles as harvest, challenges as conquest, problems as possibilities, blockages as blessings and opposition as opportunities We must not limit God, not only by unbelief but by casting away the obvious opportunities in our environment academically, maritally and ministerially. To get a stable foundation for self reliance, we must:
1. Look aback: Revelation 2:5 The past should not be a residence but a reference. The side mirror of a vehicle looks at the vehicle coming from the back to avoid collision and accidents. We must look at what made us fail in the past and turn them around for a beautiful present.
2. Look around: Jeremiah 1:11-13 Opportunities are all around us in their number. We don't have to travel far before obtaining golden chances. We must cultivate the habit of looking around us with our eyes open. We must not join the company of men that see with their feelings and think with their eyes.
3. Look ahead: Philippians 3:13 Some look down on themselves that to a level of hopelessness. Looking ahead is a voice of hope. There is a promise for the moment and a performance for the morrow.
4. Look abound:Philippians 1:9 We must not become redundant remainders in the valley of regret. The seemingly little discovery we have made must abound within us and we must abound in them as well.
5. Look alert: Psalms 45:1 Be prepared!sounds the discovery alarm. We must be alert to seize all the opportunities that God has given us to harness. Alertness must be with alacrity.
6. Look alive/ablaze: Psalm 41:2 Dead seekers don't even believe in what they profess to seek. The expectations of a glorious moment should lighten our countenance and conversation.
7. Look available:2 Samuel 15:15 Beyond the reaching forth for opportunities, a self reliance Christian must be available in character, preparation and qualification. Absented mindedness could lead to abstained miracles.
8. Look across:Proverbs 22:29 I am confined to my field says a friend. No one confines a man but himself. Look across the depth of your discipline and explore it. David became a warrior because he looked across the shepherd field to a warfare field in his lonely wilderness shepherding.
9. Look again:1 Kings 18:41-46 Quitters don't win and winners don't quit. After a seemingly discovered opportunity was flawed, a resolute man will look again because the best is yet to come.
10. Look above:Psalms 121:1-2 It is in the nature of man to look down where struggles are endless. We are enjoined to look up to God who is able to raise us up. Look above you also for a lasting discovery.
