Yes you have to fund the account first. Secondly, the certificate is like a statement. Maybe if you tell them that they might understand what you want. I have a sample I could show you on WhatsApp to show them

USD? Naira cash backed CC.

Once the account is funded, you just collect the certificate and leave.

Not trying to discourage you but by the time your appointment date comes out (Polish Embassy) your work permit may have expired. I think this will be a case of having plan A, B, and C.

My advise?

1. Continue to process your study visa (Mauritius)
2. Leave Poland application alone for now but make sure to legalize your educational documents at the polish embassy before you travel to Mauritius.
3. When you arrive Mauritius, give yourself a personal target of relocating to Poland in 1-2 years either by work or study (your legalized documents will really save you at this point). Visa Appointment dates at the Polish Embassy in Mauritius will never be a problem.

NOTE: Time is very CRUCIAL in japa. While you delay, your dream country may be changing its immigration policy to Level Difficult. Case in point: Germany.

CBN came and messed up the whole Form A thingy with this online nonsense. Banks have a terrible backlog and there’s no hope in sight.

I waited and at the last minute had to buy FX from Aboki, funded my dorm account, and transferred to my school’s account directly.

Your Dorm account has 3 account numbers.

Copy the euro account number. Buy euros and go to your bank to fund your account.

Then collect the FX transfer form to initiate the transfer abroad. Keep about 20k in your naira account for charges

Yes, dorm accounts are set up in USD, Euro, Pound all at once. Just buy euro from Aboki and fund your account for transfer to your school’s euro account.

This method is faster although very expensive and that’s why a lot of students don’t use it.
