If your school will let you defer your admission to Spring intake, you need to submit admission letter, accommodation contract, financial means, flight itinerary, insurance, etc when you eventually get another visa appointment date.

Please let go! Number 3 and number 8 are straightforward denials to tackle. And even then, the Embassy is prone to dismissing your appeal.

Number 6 and 10 are very tricky numbers to appeal. Attempting to at this point where denials are crazy is you just coming to dash the Embassy free €80.

My experiences:

1. VISA DENIAL: SUT students got a lot of denials last over Number 8. The school later, albeit quite late, tried to salvage this situation by providing students with fresh and “separate” accommodation letter to present at the Embassy. PUT and PULS have well detailed accommodation contracts.

2. EXTENSION LETTER: Many students couldn’t get appointment dates in time. Consequently, SUT issued extension letters but yes deadline was still limiting. A lot of SUT students had to ask for refund because of this.

What am I saying? Look beyond the schools history or age or infrastructure or whatnot, focus on:

1. Will the school give a very sufficient extension or deferral if I don’t get an appointment on time?

2. Will I get a full refund EASILY without spamming their mailbox with complaints?

3. Will they provide adequate documentation as at when needed for me to present at the Embassy?
