Nemere2020:Taking this fool serious will be much more deadlier than coronavirus. The north is certainly the centre of drug consumption in the entire Africa. 60-70% of Hausa/Fulani man can barely cope daily without consuming ordinary cigarettes daily talkless of the the most dangerous chemicals and weeds. Northerners that smoke with freedom in broad daylight without being queried by any NDLEA officer passing bye. Judge not by tribalism if you want to change the World! |
hakeem4:My most worrying situation with this NIN is the simple fact that till now I have not register because I'm too poor to have an ordinary two thousand naira I'm going to pay for it. Just2k. And the foolish vice president of the zoo will be backing his pay by saying the country's economy is at its best with youth engagement plans in place. fergie0o1:My concern is how ECOWAS is not permitted with any power to intervene in any of its member nations' poor governance system by always warning every government in power to beware of repercussion of their brutal force of hardship and deliberate wickedness on the masses and all other human rights law which shouldn't be tampered with by any government in power otherwise strict sanctions will be slammed against such a nation's government and by that cutting their ties off with the international communities. Most countries will sit tight to deliver good governance to their citizens sighting the implications without negotiation in place for such an act but its unfortunate the foolish ECOWAS will be quick to react whenever there is coupe by slamming doors on coupe leaders who used bad governance as an opportunity to serve their personal greeds. ECOWAS is another foolish buhari |
aminulive:As much as I wouldn't be bias I would pray for a Bawa's sorrowful experience for big game plans of southern youths clampdown without hearing them bursting and presenting any on northern youths at all. Are northern youths not engaged in internet fraud. Let the bursting circulates, we are all partners in crime. Everyone of them(opponents) will now know where you are kept (hospital) and will simply use this avenue. Them don spray the mic for him P I r |
hayoholla:Hate me or value my word The name *Nigeria* simply means backwardness to these people at all helms is affairs whom all are one way or the other linked and connected to us but we only keep to the use of forgive and forget with hands exchanging rewards and we later return to complain. The only solution to Nigeria's issues is simply going apart either by revolution or any other means (legal or illegal). We would all want to kill all those who wrote the constitution that allows you to collect taxes and share in revenues of resources you don't own or trade and the same constitution allows you to keep your own resources at your grab without sharing with others. What stupid constitution allows you to take my lands forcibly for your own business ? What stupid constitution allows you to refuse court judgments without being checked by the ministry of justice immediately and instant dissolve of all cabinets. You allow us go or we kill you with external forces assistance |
wellmax:But we should fold our arm till bihari goes before reacting abi. You are a big fool and you must have once or twice run mad and refused to take ur drug after getting on d run. Bandits and bokoharam are not terrorist to be attacked abi, na only Ipoh be northerners problems. You must be one of the mistakenly conceived pregnancies disturbing the peace of the nation. Crook of vultures |
Businesslist:Look at you, many corrupt minded fools will still support him and bring him to market to sell and tell you his father's actions does not speak for him politically and many demented fools will still buy such excuses and get paid to vote him and even fight their immediate family members who advised against such. Imagine someone like me who's immensely poor been approached for such while I'm yet to feed myself and my family this morning with no hope anywhere, won't I consider it and have d bribe? And that's why they (politicians) deliberately offer us bad leadership style of governance (take it or have it bad). Abet I need a job oooo

Detaining late Abacha corpse in Aso villa would even have been a daily lesson to such a lifeless power monger. It shall never be well with every fingers and brains that put together such a faulty constitution that allows you to reap where you didnt sow. I wonder how person wey no sell beer and oil go dey collect tax from such products but refuses to give out a share of his own gold. We are taking over from lifeless fools. UAR my foot |
okefranci:Its hi time you start considering the future of your children before talking without considering present favoritism you enjoy from the present system of governance that feeds feeds your household and buys you data at the detriment of other people's joy. Your children will later end up laying curses on you after finding out you are this daft, cruel and dishonest.. Remember you will lastly fade away no matter the much dirty riches you acquire from cruelty. Consider your end before leaving as an unrepentant sinner! I will be there to remind you when you are sentenced to hell |
Short man devil who is a beneficiary of a rotten zoo system will say and do anything expected of his Fulani zoo bosses of northern nijeriya caliphates of terrorists. See the handwriting on the wall clearly that the lions and other blood thirsty animals(politicians) are fully ready to feed on other low key animals'(citizens) bloods. No matter how long it takes, the zoo will finally seize to exist by the rime the present team of zoo keepers are all put to compulsory retirements by every sensible, true and honest Nigerian youths who would all be surely ready to reject the suckers and foreign sponsors come in to sponsor a revolution soon! IMF suspends Afghanistan's access to funds Business reporter, BBC News Published19 hours ago Afghan people line up outside AZIZI Bank to take out cash as the Bank suffers amid crises Afghan people line up outside AZIZI Bank to take out cash as the bank suffers amid money crises in Kabul The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has said Afghanistan will no longer be able to access the lender's resources. The move follows the Taliban's takeover of the country last weekend. An IMF spokesperson said it was due to "lack of clarity within the international community" over recognising a government in Afghanistan. Resources of over $370m (£268m) from the IMF had been set to arrive on 23 August. These funds were part of a global IMF response to the economic crisis. Access to the IMF's reserves in Special Drawing Rights (SDR) assets, which can be converted to government-backed money, have also been blocked. SDRs are the IMF's unit of exchange based on sterling, dollars, euros, yen and yuan. "As is always the case, the IMF is guided by the views of the international community," the spokesperson added. What next for Afghanistan's economy? US left too quickly, says Afghanistan bank governor The Taliban's victory will test India, and peace in South Asia It comes after an official from the Biden administration told the BBC that any central bank assets the Afghan government has in the US will not be made available to the Taliban. In a letter to the US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, Congress members called for assurances that the Taliban would receive no US-backed aid. "The potential of the SDR allocation to provide nearly half a billion dollars in unconditional liquidity to a regime with a history of supporting terrorist actions against the United States and her allies is extremely concerning," 17 signatories wrote. Earlier, the head of Afghanistan's central bank said the US had cut off access to its assets - around $7bn of which are held at the U.S. Federal Reserve. Ajmal Ahmady, who fled the country at the weekend, tweeted that Da Afghanistan Bank's total reserves were approximately $9bn as of last week. But he said as per international standards, most of this was held in safe, liquid assets such as US Treasury bonds and gold offshore. "Given that the Taliban are still on international sanction lists, it is expected (confirmed?) that such assets will be frozen and not accessible to Taliban," Mr Ahmady tweeted. "We can say the accessible funds to the Taliban are perhaps 0.1-0.2% of Afghanistan's total international reserves. Not much." Mr Ahmady added that Washington's suspended shipments of physical dollars were causing Afghanistan's currency to depreciate. The Afghan currency, the Afghani, has fallen to record lows. "I believe local banks have told customers that they cannot return their dollars — because [Da Afghanistan Bank] has not supplied banks with dollars," he tweeted. "This is true. Not because funds have been stolen or being held in vault, but because all dollars are in international accounts that have been frozen." An Afghan money changer counts Afghani currency notes at the roadside in Kabul IMAGE SOURCEGETTY IMAGES In June, the IMF gave Afghanistan its latest loan instalment which was approved in November. In the same month, the UN published a report which stated that the "primary sources of Taliban financing remain criminal activities," including "drug trafficking and opium poppy production, extortion, kidnapping for ransom, mineral exploitation and revenues from tax collection in areas under Taliban control or influence." The World Bank also funds many development projects in the country and has provided Afghanistan with $5.3bn since 2002. It has not yet responded to the BBC's request for comment on the current status of this funding. Independent money transfer giant Western Union has also suspended money transfer services to Afghanistan "until further notice". The IMF has taken similar steps against other regimes not recognised by a majority of its members. This happened in April 2019 when SDR access was blocked after more than 50 member countries refused to recognise President Nicolas Maduro as the legitimate leader of Venezuela. The IMF also halted payments to Myanmar after the military junta seized control. On Monday, the IMF will complete a $650bn allocation of SDRs to its 190 member countries. 2px presentational grey line Analysis box by Andrew Walker, Economics correspondent The sudden advances made by the Taliban left the IMF with an urgent decision. It is about to hand out to almost all its members a reserve asset called special drawing rights. It's an exercise that is not about Afghanistan. It's about reinforcing the global economic recovery from the pandemic related crisis. And it's happening on Monday. So if the new regime in Kabul were to be excluded at this stage the IMF had to move quickly. And it has done so, reflecting what a spokesperson called a lack of clarity about the recognition of the government. That is what lies behind the IMF decision at this stage. It does also raise the possibility that financial assistance might come to be used as leverage to encourage the Taliban not to allow the abuses that many fear - and that some reports say are already taking place. |
