PoliticsHow Goodluck Jonathan Pioneered Avengers Group by alowale(op): 8:10am On May 15, 2016
– Ex-militant reveals ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s role in the formation of the Avengers

– Explains how he was bundled out of a meeting of ex-militants

– Tells President Buhari that their leaders are the problems in the Niger Delta region

Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan is being alleged to have pioneered the Niger Delta Avengers, a new militant group in the south-south.

This allegation was made by the National Coalition of Niger Delta Ex-Agitators (NCNDE-A), stating that the ex-president planted the group in January, 2015 ahead of the March 2015 presidential election.

According to Vanguard, Israel Akpodoro, the group’s president who made the accusation in a statement in Abuja, asked the former president to call members of the budding militant group to order.

“The Niger Delta Avengers is a creation of an ex-president aimed at thwarting any efforts made by successive administration especially that of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress, APC, administration,” the statement read in part.

Akpodoro stated further that the message sent to them by the former president’s special adviser was for all ex-militants from the region to return to the creek and prepare for ‘action’ against Buhari.

He added that the said action includes “what we are witnessing today in the actions of the Niger Delta Avengers.”

“I was bundled out of the meeting but, Nigerians are witnessing the menace today.
“The ex-President created the monster-Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, and he alone can call them to order and that is what my group is asking him to do.

“Our common enemies in the Niger Delta region are those governors, ministers, Special Advisers, Director Generals, Senators and other representatives from the region who participated in government and use their offices to enrich themselves at the detriment of general good.

“We must redirect our anger to those who cornered the dividends of democracy in the region buying fleet of aeroplanes, building mansions in choices cities of the world…while their people live in abject poverty. “President Buhari isn’t our problem but our leaders from the region,” the ex-militant averred.

He also noted that, “President Buhari should not relent in his military actions against those he described as enemies of peace in the region.”

Meanwhile, Governor Ezenwo Wike of Rivers state has also condemned the blowing up of pipelines in the Niger Delta by militants, saying that it is not in the interest of the region as it negatively affects the revenue that accrue to the states for development.

He said the states of the Niger Delta will work with the federal government and security agencies to stop the bombing of pipelines by militants. In an interview with German Television, ARD in Port Harcourt on Thursday, Governor Wike said: “Blowing up pipelines will further decrease our revenue, which affect payment of salaries and development projects.”

CaptainBomb:
Buhari is a smart president that Nigeria has ever had. The way our economy was going under uncle Jonathan when a barrel of is being sold over 100$ per barrel and uncle Jonah has got nothing tangible to show for it , instead they were busy sharing the money that is meant for arms to fight insurgent, all our reserve was loot , i am still expecting EFCC to probe the so called charity organization that contributed money for uncle jonadumb during the 2015 election.. They are all corrupt and must face the wrath of law. Fvck all buhari hater.. Buhari remain my role model. If you think things are too hard for you in Nigeria , you can try Cotonou, Togo, Ghana, ... Buhari till 2023..
Guy GOD bless you I was just tired to type but you have type exactly my mind............ GOD bless BUHARI and GOD bless Nigeria.

Duuring PDP's 16 year rule, was Nigeria ruled under APC manifesto or PDP manifesto?

Was Nigeria ruled based on APC policies and programs?

Was Nigeria ruled under APC economic and social policies?

Were OBJ, YARADUA and GEJ ministers were appointed by APC president that never existed?

Were heads of the law enforcement and anti corruption agencies appointed by the APC or PMB?

Was Dasuki appointed by the PAC or PMB?

Was the Nigerian Navy handed over to Tompolo by the APC or PMB?

Was looted and drained NIMASSA handed over to looters by PMB or GEJ?

Was billions handed over to looters for spiritual prayers by PMB or GEJ?

Who approved arms funds Dasuki shared with PDP looters? PMB or GEJ?

Who made billions of dollars from from high oil priced for 5 years but looted everything with nothing to show and even still borrowed to pay salaries? PDP or APC?

Who looked the other way while the NNPC looted and did dirt with our money?

I can go on and on till next year, but why bother....

1. Now under APC, APC programs, APC policies, APC anti corruption policies, we don't have looters running around looting and stealing, FG accounts are unitary and not thousands all over the place making room for looting and stealing.

2. Today, we found out that N7 billion was recovered from GEJ's looters with many more billions to follow

3. TSA account is at N3 trillion and overflowing with money, money that was nowhere to be found under GEJ and PDP.

4. Our foreign reserve is no longer bleading, it's actually growing ..

5. Our ECA is getting replenished the first time since june last year

6. No more sending armored vans to the CBN to loot our funds in the middle of the night

7. No more BH taking over or planting their terrorists flags all over the place

8. Our galant men and women in uniform are no longer running from BH because of low moral and poor or no weapons to fight with because GEJ and his looters stole and shared their money

9. Our agencies are making and remitting huge and record amount of funds into the Federal account...

We are doing all the wonderful things above with the so called APC or former PDP members you listed

The question now is, why are we achieving and gaining with the same APC and former PDP members under this APC government?

Shouldn't it eve the looting and stealing be worse and in overdrive today?

You see how silly, ignorant, thoughtless and unintelligent your primary school thinking and logic is?

Fool yourself and your mentally warped and corrupt minds all you can, but you can not fool us or re write your odious and corrupt history or even insult our collective intelligence with your absurdities...

For those that wants to call this a Witch-Hunt.

Know that Nigeria does not have a statute of limitations for any crime committed. What this means, is that a crime committed ONCE UPON A TIME AGO, and which can still be proven, can be prosecuted anytime.

I am still wondering, when charges from siphoning thousands of pensioners money in Societe General Bank will be brought against him,Saraki is a Criminal and he should spend the rest of his adult days in jail.

This is a man who has not done a day of work in his life, and was teleguided and taught by his father on how to loot and steal Public Fund. How did this man end up the Senate President? this is an embarrassment to the entity called Nigeria.
ur comment moved me and I feel like crying for this country
