SportsRe: The Dominance Of The Igbo Tribe In Nigeria Football - Aderonke Bello by AlPeter: 6:18pm On Nov 11, 2015
maestroferddi:
It might interest you to note that three of the greatest footballers ever to come out of Nigeria are all Igbos.

1. Kanu Nwankwo: Nigeria's most successful/decorated player of all time. Voted 13th in Arsenal's greatest players of all time.

2. Jay Jay Okocha: Included in the oft-referenced Pele's "100 Greatest Living Footballers". Easily one of the best talents ever to have come out of the African continent.

3. Mikel Obi: While Mikel may divide opinion, the fact is that his achievements speak for themselves: serial English Premier League winner; a UEFA Europa and Champions League winner; an African Cup of Nations winner and other accomplishments.

Suffices to state that the Igbos are natural sports people.

Come to the work out circuit of a place like National Stadium, Lagos and you will see that more than 70% of the participants are Igbos.
first OFF Jayjay is from Delta State too, Odegbami and Rashidi Yekini are Yorubas and have more recognition both locally and internationally than almost all the Ibos footballlers. Lastly don't ever put that clown Mikel amongst Nigeria's great
SportsRe: The Dominance Of The Igbo Tribe In Nigeria Football - Aderonke Bello by AlPeter: 6:22pm On Nov 09, 2015
To a football Lover like me this Observation is wrong...... The Yorubas have Produced more Football greats in Nigerians than the Ibos even Delta and Edo state together adds more in Nigerian sports than them.
This article is wrong and should be condemned because it kindle the fire of tribalism......

Until piort Harcourt start having these facilities.
from all the pictures here it shows that Sokoto is more beautiful and serene than Enugu even the Market is a work of art
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Will Be Livable If All State Capitals Can Be Like Enugu-pictures by AlPeter: 12:15pm On Nov 05, 2015
For those arguing about size Port Harcourt is More than 3 times the size of Enugu,,,,,,,,,, PH- size; 140 sq mi,,,,,,,,,,,,, Enugu- size; 44 sq mi

as far as pH, Onitsha, Ibadan, kano and Lagos is concerned, Enugu is more livable than those cities.

The other livable cities in Nigeria are calabar and uyo.
Even my own Asaba is not up to the standard, I can't satisfy my ego and skip the truth.
stop jumping to conclusions! The only livable cities? You know that's an insult to other cities, I put it to you that Ibadan, Sokoto, Zamfara, and Akure are more beautiful and serene than this your so called Enugu and if it's on the Issue of Beauty and infrastructures alone there are better state capitals if na Say you just enter Enugu the thing con dey shak you will understand but stop these comparisisms

shut up, Allen has good buildings with bad roads, Allen avenue doesn't have good drainages with walkways.

Bode Thomas is a normal neighborhood, you are not well travelled, the beauty of surulere ends at Eric moore road. Ojuelegba, aguda and ijesha are the biggest places in surulere and they are slums.

The fine part of obanikoro is just the bus stop along ikorodu road.

Don't tell people lie here.
see this clown when you don't have anything meaningful to say you resort to insults hope you know that surulere is bigger than the capital you are running your mouth for? Well have got nothing to say to some one that says Allen has no good roads! Just Imagine
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Will Be Livable If All State Capitals Can Be Like Enugu-pictures by AlPeter: 5:43am On Nov 05, 2015
menabadoo:
OK, the only developed places in surulere are bode Thomas, stadium and adeniran ogunsanya axis, aguda, ijesha and lawanson are slums.

Oyingbo is not developed please, its a slum, is that not where we have kano, Ibadan streets etc and also carter bridge?

Palm groove is just an estate, we have estates better than palmgrove everywhere.

Obanikoro is a bus stop close to ilupeju

Festac town? Please don't shame yoursself with that shit of an estate.

The only fine roads in Ikeja arw awolowo road, mobolaji Anthony road, airport road,l and secreteraite road. Other roads are substandard, from agidingbi road,, Toyin road, Allen avenue etc are all substandard roads. Ikeja is usually flooded during rain. Roads in ikeja are not smooth.
We igbos know all these places, don't lie to us.
Bode Thomas Road and it's environs are faaarr better than the trash being paraded here firstly.

You need to take a tour of Oyingbo it's all I will say.

Obanikoro is not just a bus-stop it's an area sharing borders with shomolu, Anthony, and Gbagada saying it's just a bus-stop is a fallacy. There are let's of places there better than the pics being shown here.

I can't believe anyone that has been to Allen will come here and brag with this kind of useless pictures, Allen compared with the stuffs here looks like heaven seems it's been more than 10years you visited Lagos last.

Note; all the places I mentioned are highly populated Areas not express roads or industrial areas

Wetin remain na ghetto n very dirty places where even human beings get trapped in traffic jam.
palmgrove estate, surulere, oyingbo, akoka, Ilupeju, Ikeja, Obanikoro, Folagoro, Palm Avenue, Festac town to mention a few are also on the Island right? Have you been to Ikorodu of recent? You will miss your way stop saying stuffs you know not a thing about

I served in AKS 2014/2015 precisely UYO, Akpabio my man tried for AKS but please don't compare Enugu as a capital to any capital city in Nigeria except FCT.

The serenity, oderliness and calmness in Enugu-city are much.
otondo, swerve abeg. From what me am seeing SOKOTO better pass Enugu. Beauty, serenity and Orderliness the place fine pass this one FAAAAAAAARRRR. This reminds of Moniya on the outskirt of Ibadan

Are you now afraid to mention who's ruling - ADMINISTERING - them at the top?

Even with a documented and globally known genocide against them
in your shallow mind now only Igbos should be ruling so you will stop wailing ba? Was Jona a Fulani? Or are u indirectly saying the Igbos are slaves?
Nigeria runs a DEMOCRATIC system so anybody from any ethic group can rule at the center, it is a country having over 200 ethnic groups so you don't expect every group to be represented at the center but at the state and local Government level they are!
PoliticsRe: UN Reject Catalonia Call For Independence From Spain. UN Says It's Illegitimate by AlPeter: 9:19pm On Oct 31, 2015
ETHNICALLY AND culturally different from the country ADMINISTRATING THEM....... I guess all the Eastern governors are Hausas and Yorubas, and Geographically Nigeria is made up of just those 2 ethnic groups. Learn to comprehend #dreamers

You are welcome, hopefully.

I can try, the real question is can you properly handle it?

Yes I am - and that affects your friends marriage dilemna how exactly?

Here goes; words of wisdom will be all but wasted on your friend. Until she forms a considered view of what marriage is and what it entails, she will not truly appreciate the qualities of a worthy partner, appreciate them and then set herself to - as love is indeed an act - desire and fall in love with someone who possess those characteristics.

She is basically just a child, tossed around by indeterminate emotions and feelings. She is not ready for marriage. She needs instruction - and perhaps discipline - not wisdom.

She will marry unthinkingly and then come here to be claiming "abusive marriage" to heartfelt solidarity from divorce campaigners. Like an "abusive marriage" is something one orders online - go to BuyRght sef, you'll find a "buy one get one free".

I'm not in the mood - perhaps you should have gone to the romance section angry!

TV

...one day I may reconsider my view that most women would benefit from their fathers and family elders helping arrange their marriages - maybe one day
Sir, I prostrate finish!
I have been reading your comments on different issues and they are always spot on. May God give you more wisdom.
