Pawpaw

Pawpaw fruits are most expensive between February and July each year.

The objective of this project is to supply the market during this period with 25,000 big, sweet fruits.

While this is the main target, a second crop that will boost income will be added such that within the period of 12 months, the revenue target of N4m is met and surpassed. Thereby guaranteeing profitability on investment.

DETAILS:

A unit will contain 2,000 pawpaw plants towards raising 25,000 big, sweet fruits of N150 each and 2,000 pumpkin plants towards raising 3,000 pods with market value of N500 each.

The farm will run on drip irrigation system.

Each of the farm unit will be insured by a leading insurance company to the tune of N2m in the event of fire, flood, storm or pest and diseases. The insurance certificate will be in the investors name.

COST: N1.5m per unit.

Take a bike from lukosi market to lapado. Stop by our phase3 farm before getting to lapado village. There is a young plantain farm there.
Bike is N200.
