1. Its not worth it on Study Visa . Let's assume your visa is granted , you will start another journey by studying and working which will incapacitate you in achieving lot of things until you are through with your study and work yourself towards Residency. In Canada, you have to abide by all rules (as an international student) .

2. It's worth it on Permanent Residency / Work Visa . By this , as you are landing in Canada, you are above someone with a study visa because you can start working immediately, open a normal bank account, secure driving licence , apply for loan etc . In short , this visa makes you on the ladder of becoming a Canadian citizen if you know what you are doing.

3. In either way. You have to be extremely careful of (some) travel agents . A woman was hoodwinked to the sum of N15.M on this same Canada visa . Just to correct you, someone with a study visa can start work immidiately, open a normal bank account, secure the highest level of driving licence (G licence), apply for loan. You don't even need to be looking for work, some students just buy ride and start doing share ride and Uber eats; they make money from there....
