Wrong type of compressor installed. The compressor presently in vehicle is a fixed displacement compressor, commonly found in the corrola 03-06 america/japan builds.

What your vehicle requires is the original variable displacement compressor.

It is not uncommon to find this type of work being done, but you will have to sacrifice a smooth engine run when the a.c engages. Meanwhile your engine might not be giving it's best output at the moment, so I suggest you scan and post results here, especially the timing values when engine is idle and when a.c is turned on.

You will need a new engine.

You will need a new ABS module if the old one has stopped communicating.

Good morning Bro, I just got a 2009 corolla ( made in south Africa) from a friend. I've been feeling frustrated with the following issues:
1. The car throttles smoothly at rest, but acceleration comes sometimes with slight jerking or sluggish. Sometimes it just picks up and runs smoothly. Once I load the AC it looks like a death sentence on the engine, I have to turn I off to be able to move tho not still very smooth. I forgot to add that it's a manual gear with 1zz engine.
2. The speedometer doesn't work, it writes check abs on the dashboard. I ve changed the speed sensors on the right and left legs, but there is confussion bw my electrician and mechanic as to whether the front shaft is suppose to come wit a abs ring or not. Mine doesn't have.
3. In the mornings my engine makes funny sound like as if oil is not pumping for about a second and stops. Before now, There was one time it lasted for up to 5 seconds and I ve to throttle the car for it to stop, it indicated low oil pressure but stops when the sound stop. I took it to my mechanic and he opened the bottom plate, cleaned the oil pump host that collects oil. He also noticed the metals had injured the crank shaft a little and was not tightly fitted in its casing. I had to buy new metals. Now it doesn't write low oil pressure, the noise has stop, only comes up some mornings for just a second and stops on its on without me throttling the car. This only happens in the mornings, but during the day it doesn't.
I'm contemplating buying a new engine because of number 1 and 3 reasons state above. I live in uyo, akwa ibom state thanks so much

Please leave the military alone to do their job. If you know the number of soldiers that had fallen since the beginning of Boko Haram insurgency, if they asked your worst enemy to enlist in the army, you'll tell him to think twice. Despite all the huge number of the fallen heroes, the war still continued and it's almost ended. Can you remember when buhari extended the peace pact proposal to the NDA? He said he would order a ceasefire for 2 weeks to give room for dialogue as he was ready for it. To show seriousness, he withdrew all the military personnel from the creeks. Instead of compliance, the NDA intensified their efforts in the pipeline vandalism calling their action 'Operation Red Economy', till the 2-week ultimatum expired. In this country, we seem to know the truth but pretend we don't. During the military ceasefire, we heard some naval officers were attacked and killed by the same NDA. If you asked me, the NDA has overstayed their welcome. It's only in this country people don't value their lives. I've not seen a country where civilians would dare the military... the greatest mistake NDA made was allow the military to invade ND because they won't leave that place in the next two years because they already have a Base there. They should have learned about USA's invasion in afghanistan, Iraq, Ecomog in DR Congo and other restive regions. They are still there till today despite loosing their men in thousands to the ethnic militias and terrorists. The time of dialogue is gone. Buhari is more patient than obj who levelled up odi because a soldier was killed. Over 20 soldiers have been killed in warri, bayelsa and port harcourt so far by the NDA but buhari never reacted nor called for a state of emergency in those regions. Whatever the avengers face, is their business. I wish I could reach out to them to warn them of their actions before now. Amnesty programme is still on, buhari has aptured in 2016 budget the cleanup of ogoni and other places. He means well for them by saying instead of feeding a few selfish NDtans with dollars,which had got tompolo, ateke Tom, asari dokubo super rich at the expense of the impoverished nigerdeltans, a holistic development was needed such as road construction, education, empowerment and vocational training, issuance of oil licence, etc. The avengers are just fighting a political fight and it's not necessary. Nigeria belongs to all of us. I'm not an APC member or lover of buhari. I say the truth. I'm close to the nigeridelta region more than those who hail from that region are. It's worse than a war zone, in terms of development. You can imagine if tompolo and asari's wealth were evenly distributed in that region by past administration. The whole place would have been developed by now. I trekked the length and breadth of yenagoa from the FMC side in less than 20 minutes one morning. I just asked myself where the fat allocations have been going into over the years. What bayelsa gets alone at a time is more than what 4 big states would share. The question is, where are those allocations going into...infrastructure, education, road construction, vocational training programmes, youth empowerment? NO! The only visible thing on the street of yenagoa are the prostitutes lying up the street calling customers and the bayelsan youths holding bottles of hot drink and cigarettes in their hands, chatting with the prostitutes. Nothing is happening there. ND leaders need to be blamed for the backwardness of that region . God bless Nigeria.

Im really touched by ur write up, so much reality and truth. Im just tired of people dying for a war that could ve been avoided. I dont also support giving money to this warlords in the name of pacifying them. Whatever development the govt wants to do should be done directly and not giving money to the militants nor elders.
