Politics / Re: High Electricity Tariff Crushing Nigerian Public Varsities by alphaNomega: 8:04pm On Jul 21
Deltafirstson:
The crippling electricity tariff hike is just one of the numerous manifestations of the Tinubu-led Federal Government's abysmal failure to deliver on its promises, with the administration's incompetence and ineptitude ravaging the country's vital sectors, including education, economy, healthcare, and security, in less than two years.

Stop maligning this government. They did not promise you anything, the only thing the top man said was "it is his turn" and he is doing his turn. Rest.

Tinubu is just making things very hard for the younger generations coming up...life is very hard ,no electricity,,,food is expensive to afford...if not that the man is an evil fellow ,how does he goes to bed at night and sleep knowing that the citizens of the country you are leading are going through hardship.....let him return the status of the fuel back to the way he met it......he can't repair Nigeria he is just making things worst, him and his so called evil colleagues APC

Someone that his battle cry for being a president was "it is my turn" does not give a damn if you have nothing.

whether you suffer oh, or you enjoy it o, the man will close his eyes and sleep peacefully with security guarding his assets.

At least before tinubu dies, he will live a life knowing how stupid he was despite all the wealth he claims to have amassed. this is a man who was shouting like a mad man in the market square when GEJ wanted to remove subsidy. Today Tinubu has told us he is still paying subsidy, if he is not, how does fuel price increase simply because he has to pay Nigerian workers a 250k minimum wage?

When I tell people about the dangers of doing hard drugs, I have an example to use.

Are you sure you are mentally sound? Where in my post did I say I’m encouraging violence or killing of anyone. My post is exact opposite of that. Do you have short memory that you can’t recollect what happened in Lagos in 2020 where the protest was hijacked by Nnamdi Kanu Igbos and burnt down brt and some other infrastructures?
you clearly have distorted memory which is worse than short term memory. Distorted memory will make you tell your children it was an okada man that paid your school fees.

Did you not see the videos were government sent security personnel disguised as thugs to infiltrate the protests? was that not when things started getting out of control?

2024 you have said it is Nnamdi Kanu Igbos tha hijacked the protests. In 2 years, your leaking brain will tell you it was Boko haram that infiltrated the protest

you people are disgusting.

Here in UK... leaving children all alone at home is a big crime. I don't know what you are trying to say but I assure you there are always alternatives to leaving underage children at home. There are care centres, paid carers, relatives etc. I don't know what really happened but this wanton destruction was not the right thing to do.
have you ever been to those so-called care centres? do you know anyone who has? they are worse than leaving your child at home.

These Oyinbos have been stealing our children. It has to stop
i agree. serves them right. they make raising children too expensive and when you try to put your kids in order, they swing in with social services to take your kids away you only to hand them over to people who refused to/unable to have their own children. these foster homes do not care on bit about your kids. they are after the money government gives them.

your children hate you while growing up, and that's one family unit successfully destroyed by the system.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Riot In Leeds, United Kingdom Over Child Services (Video, Pictures) by alphaNomega: 3:48pm On Jul 19

This is silly. They took your children because you were not taking good care of them. The next thing is to call your kindred and start fighting the state. Lets see how this roma gypsy will get justice by going that route.

To those of you saying trash about sane societies..you should know that as long as humans make up the society, there will always be disturbances. The difference is how often these happens and what the response is from the Government to correct it while punishing those responsible without fear or favour.
why are they not able to take care of the children? Remember the news report said thechildren were left at home alone. there could have been a bigger problem why the children were alone at home.

That is what they are praying for as very radical and hateful elements always happy to cut their nose to spite their face.

What is going on in the SE today is testimony to their mindset. I e killing and subjugating their own people, under the might of AK-47, because they think they are somehow striking back at others.

What pragmatic observers and analyst will tell you is that the evolution of " mere geographical expressions" (Obafemi Awolowo) into developed nations come with regrettable events.

Rwanda is testimony to that. She is doing comparatively well today after a horrific genocide Africa and the world hopes never to see similar to again.

Yet, whatever will happen, if it is part of what has to happen to get Nigeria where God has ordained she will reach, will surely happen.

You can only beg protesters to be peaceful, non-violent and present their agitations with civility. Yet you cannot read the minds and intentions of others.

Kagame's dictatorship is working overtime. You must think Rwanda is an African paradise. Let me tell you something. Rwanda is so bad that the British government used them to threaten illegal immigrants

"I banish you to Rwanda"

That's how bad it is. You think it is to go to the only road in their community to record a working street light at night that tells you Rwanda is developed? You guys are easy to wash
