Politics / Re: How Did Tinubu Manage To Neutralize North? by alphaNomega: 12:33pm On Jul 28
MrEverest:
Any adult who was born in the 1980’s or earlier knows how Northern Nigeria used to control Nigeria. In fact, whenever they coughed, the rest of the country would catch cold. But today, North has become a sorry mess. They’ve lost virtually everything. From politics to industry, agriculture etc. The only bragging rights they had left, which is Dangote, Tinubu has also gone after him. It’s really unbelievable seeing Dangote suffering in the hands of Tinubu and his men without any form of support or fight back from the North. Dangote is richest Blackman and Nigeria’s biggest investor yet they’re treating him like a nobody. To the point of threatening his multi billion dollars assets!

I bet you, if Dangote was to be an Igbo man or even Ijaw man, his people would have backed him ferociously. Dangote is to the Northzz a, what Innoson is to the East. Any attack on these great men should be seen as an injury to all. Is there anything Tinubu is using to blackmail North? Has Northern Nigeria reached a dead end where it can’t help itself anymore?

The list of Northern casualties Tinubu is decimating keeps growing by the day. The ironical part of it is that some Northerners continue to sulk it up while others even defend. One thing has become clear, North is no longer what it used to be, they’ve declined terribly in all aspects.
you are joking if you think Tinubu neutralized the North or whatever you are trying to suggest.

what people do not see here is how bad actors weaponise poverty and people's emotions to build a crowd. saharareporters and most of the government workers are notorious for this.

that's the plan. damage the economy until citizens see absolutely no reason to continue living in "peace".

By the time all hell breaks loose, the wealthy class would have escaped to their properties they bought abroad with stolen government money while people back home get decimated. they return after the chaos and rebrand themselves as peacemakers and freedom fighters then the cycle continues.

Food / Re: I Got 6 Tubers For 9k Good Buy????? by alphaNomega: 12:29am On Jul 28
these things should be cheaper. there is a war on the food supply in Nigeria coordinated in concert with boko haram/criminal attacks on our farms. killing farmers and destroying farming communities.

the plan will be to replace them with GMO varieties, plant opium, and other things not beneficial to Nigerians.

Hmm. People are yearning for Nation wide protest.
This is example of what people will see in that few minutes protest.
Revenge ! Robbery ! Looting ! Kidnapping ! Raping ! Destruction !
Shop owners will be in trouble. Single mums will be in trouble. Pretty and yanga girls are no exception.
You are owing me money ,where will you hide that day?
Nigerians should think wisely and do not allow our selfishness to destroy our heritage .
Look at this one now ,he allowed stupidity to overshadowed him by destroyed his already completed job that he supposed to wait patiently for his balance.
I was awarded a contract in years back by Merit Award commission in Abuja.
I completed the job only to be paid ,I was told that my file was missing.
And, I owed a lot of people that I collected materials for credit, they were after me. I have to run out of Abuja to my village.
Not until after about 2 years that the commission Engineer called me that they have found my file. And ,I was eventually paid.
So, let us be patient in all our doings. So that we will not regret our actions.

imagine the nonsense. I hope you paid back your clients

seeing your Handwork enduring year after year alone is a reward and gift in itself

Michealangelo the Artists painted the Cisteine Chapel Ceiling in Rome 500 years ago and was never paid the full Balance

Till Today it is one of Italy's most famous tourist attractions and a National Treasure

Michelangelo spent 7 years painting it.

Ordinary for the mans Grandsons to be able to point to the Ceiling and say it was built by their Grandfather is a thing of great pride and Joy

The man should have left it
don't let me tell you what's on my mind. Nigerians are not known to honour contracts. did the contract with this man say he would not be paid the money in full? anyway, na this kain case police dey like. them go chop from both sides until money finish, nothing concern them.

Surface2AirToto:
Nairalanders, please help me ohh, my wife wants to destroy our marriage and she sees nothing wrong in what she's doing.

It's been two weeks now since the first day a guy at her place of work started dropping her off with his car when they close from work. First it was just dropping her off after work, now it has graduated and the same said guy has started picking her up from our marital home. I asked what was it all about and if she knew and told the guy she was married with a child, she said I just like to read meaning to little things and that the guy was just a friend, i kept calm ohh, until on Tuesday she came home with pringles and malt and said the guy said she should give me. We had a serious argument that turned physical and she has refused to talk to me ever since, no longer cooks before she leaves home anymore, even our baby she barely gives attention. Please Nairalanders i need your advice because i don't want to do what's in my mind right now because somebody might get hurt.

you are overthinking it. nothing is going wrong

Tinubu that protested freely during Jonathan regime is now so scared of protests that he now running helter scatter paying agbado youths to help stop the protest...what an irony?

You people are just wasting your time and energy, even Oro sef go join the protest...you think hunger knows any tribe? This protest cannot be STOPPED as long as people are hungry...have you seen an happy hungry man before?

Don't worry you will see the real population of hungry and angry people from every tribe on that day.

The only way to stop the protest is to end the current hardship in the land...lobatan.

The only person that can stop this protest is Peter Obi, but instead of FG to go on their knees to beg him to address the youths they quickly accuse him without any evidence.

Wether you like him or not the youths will listen to Peter Obi than any Nigerian alive...his voice is golden.

which one come be the only one that can stop the protest is Peter Obi?

the only 2 things keeping Nigeria together are crude oil and the hatred for his ethnic group because like this eh, there is no economy to talk about.

Release Kanu ? One of the demands ? Sowore is very stupid for this . I think he has been bribed to douse the zeal for the protest .

Letting Sowore hijack this protest will result in chaos . During Endsars , he was trying to push the revolution now agenda but the protesting youths shut him down . Same with the LGBTQRSTUV people. The real protest across the country was peaceful and it was hijacked by hoodlums .

We don’t need protest . We need a national reform starting from every individual . The nation is super corrupt

sowore and reno omokiri are in the same whatsapp group. Never take anything they say serious.

that includes saharareporters, sowore's propaganda machine.

The protest is a wastage of energy and resources and an effort in futility.

Prospective GRADUATES who are waiting for 2024 NYSC Batch B Stream 2 are many and desirous of being called to Camp by July 31. No government agency will allowed youths to be in camp while protest is ongoing. Many parents cannot allow their children to travel to camps or to be in camps under tension.

as if government officials have not been wasting our resources without consequence

People recommend partners to friends, relatives an the like. Even the arranged marriage practiced in India and Pakistan has some merits but that's not my main issue with this case. My issue with this is a man pushing out his daughter as a 16th wife for more wealth when he's already wealthy on his own.
It's just weird
this one is their culture. I have no problem with it as long as they practice it in their land and not start pushing for everyone to copy them. Even if the king married 16 gay partners, i won't GAF

see, even the british royal families des this. That's why they had serious beef with Prince Harry and his actress wife. They pick your wife for political and traditional purposes.

Today, things are changing even though some groups like to preserve historic traditional practices. You can wake up tomorrow and hear someone wants to marry their horse, or pet tortoise.
