Only if Gideon Orka's coup succeeded undecided

Text of Major Gideon Orka's Coup Speech, 1990

"Fellow Nigerian Citizens,
On behalf of the patriotic and well-meaning peoples of the Middle Belt and the southern parts of this country, I , Major Gideon Orkar, wish to happily inform you of the successful ousting of the dictatorial, corrupt, drug baronish, evil man, deceitful, homo-sexually-centered, prodigalistic, un-patriotic administration of General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida. We have equally commenced their trials for unabated corruption, mismanagement of national economy, the murders of Dele Giwa, Major-General Mamman Vatsa, with other officers as there was no attempted coup but mere intentions that were yet to materialise and other human rights violations.

The National Guard already in its formative stage is disbanded with immediate effect. Decrees Number 2 and 46 are hereby abrogated. We wish to emphasise that this is not just another coup but a well conceived, planned and executed revolution for the marginalised, oppressed and enslaved peoples of the Middle Belt and the south with a view to freeing ourselves and children yet unborn from eternal slavery and colonisation by a clique of this country.

Our history is replete with numerous and uncontrollable instances of callous and insensitive dominatory repressive intrigues by those who think it is their birthright to dominate till eternity the political and economic privileges of this great country to the exclusion of the people of the Middle Belt and the south.

They have almost succeeded in subjugating the Middle Belt and making them voiceless and now extending same to the south.

It is our unflinching belief that this quest for domination, oppression and marginalisation is against the wish of God and therefore, must be resisted with the vehemence.

Anything that has a beginning must have an end. It will also suffice here to state that all Nigerians without skeleton in their cupboards need not to be afraid of this change. However, those with skeleton in their cupboards have all reasons to fear, because the time of reckoning has come.

For the avoidance of doubt, we wish to state the three primary reasons why we have decided to oust the satanic Babangida administration. The reasons are as follows:

(a) To stop Babangida's desire to cunningly, install himself as Nigeria's life president at all costs and by so doing, retard the progress of this country for life. In order to be able to achieve this undesirable goals of his, he has evidently started destroying those groups and sections he perceived as being able to question his desires.

Examples of groups already neutralised, pitched against one another or completely destroyed are:

(1) The Sokoto caliphate by installing an unwanted Sultan to cause division within the hitherto strong Sokoto caliphate.

(2) The destruction of the peoples of Plateau State, especially the Lantang people, as a balancing force in the body politics of this country.

(3) The buying of the press by generous monetary favours and the usage of State Security Service, SSS, as a tool of terror.

(4) The intent to cow the students by the promulgation of the draconian decree Number 47.

(5) The cowing of the university teaching and non-teaching staff by an intended massive purge, using the 150 million dollar loan as the necessitating factor.

(6) Deliberately withholding funds to the armed forces to make them ineffective and also crowning his diabolical scheme through the intended retrenchment of more than half of the members of the armed forces.

Other pointers that give credence to his desire to become a life president against the wishes of the people are:

(1) His appointment of himself as a minister of defence, his putting under his direct control the SSS, his deliberate manipulation of the transition programme, his introduction of inconceivable, unrealistic and impossible political options, his recent fraternisation with other African leaders that have installed themselves as life presidents and his dogged determination to create a secret force called the national guard, independent of the armed forces and the police which will be answerable to himself alone, both operationally and administratively.

It is our strong view that this kind of dictatorial desire of Babangida is unacceptable to Nigerians of the 1990's, and, therefore, must be resisted by all.

(b) Another major reason for the change is the need to stop intrigues, domination and internal colonisation of the Nigerian state by the so-called chosen few. This, in our view, has been and is still responsible for 90 percent of the problems of Nigerians. This indeed has been the major clog in our wheel of progress.

This clique has an unabated penchant for domination and unrivalled fostering of mediocrity and outright detest for accountability, all put together have been our undoing as a nation.

This will ever remain our threat if not checked immediately. It is strongly believed that without the intrigues perpetrated by this clique and misrule, Nigeria will have in all ways achieved developmental virtues comparable to those in Korea, Taiwan, Brazil, India, and even Japan.

Evidence, therefore, this cancerous dominance has as a factor constituted by a major and unpardonable clog in the wheel of progress of the Nigerian state. (Sic) It is suffice to mention a few distasteful intrigues engineered by this group of Nigerians in recent past. These are:

(1) The shabby and dishonourable treatment meted on the longest serving Nigerian general in the person of General Domkat Bali, who in actual fact had given credibility to the Babangida administration.

(2) The wholesale hijacking of Babangida's administration by the all powerful clique.

(3) The disgraceful and inexplicable removal of Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe, Professor Tam David-West, Mr. Aret Adams and so on from office.

(4) The now-pervasive and on-going retrenchment of Middle Belt and southerners from public offices and their instant replacement by the favoured class and their stooges.

(5) The deliberate disruption of the educational culture and retarding its place to suit the favoured class to the detriment of other educational minded parts of this country.

(6) The deliberate impoverishment of the peoples from the Middle Belt and the south, making them working ghosts and feeding on the formulae of 0-1-1- or 0-0-0 while the aristocratic class and their stooges are living in absolute affluence on a daily basis without working for it.

(7) Other countless examples of the exploitative, oppressive, dirty games of intrigues of its class, where people and stooges that can best be described by the fact that even though they contribute very little economically to the well being of Nigeria, they have over the years served and presided over the supposedly national wealth derived in the main from the Middle Belt and the southern part of this country, while the people from these parts of the country have been completely deprived from benefiting from the resources given to them by God.

(c) The third reason for the change is the need to lay a strong egalitarian foundation for the real democratic take off of the Nigerian state or states as the circumstances may dictate.

In the light of all the above and in recognition of the negativeness of the aforementioned aristocratic factor, the overall progress of the Nigerian state a temporary decision to excise the following states namely, Sokoto, Borno, Katsina, Kano and Bauchi states from the Federal Republic of Nigeria comes into effect immediately until the following conditions are met.

The conditions to be met to necessitate the re-absorption of the aforementioned states are as following:

(i) To install the rightful heir to the Sultanate, Alhaji Maccido, who is the people's choice.

(ii) To send a delegation led by the real and recognised Sultan Alhaji Maccido to the federal government to vouch that the feudalistic and aristocratic quest for domination and operation will be a thing of the past and will never be practised in any part of the Nigeria state.

By the same token, all citizens of the five states already mentioned are temporarily suspended from all public and private offices in Middle Belt and southern parts of this country until the mentioned conditions above are met.

They are also required to move back to their various states within one week from today. They will, however, be allowed to return and joint the Federal Republic of Nigeria when the stipulated conditions are met.

In the same vein, all citizens of the Middle Belt and the south are required to come back to their various states pending when the so-called all-in-all Nigerians meet the conditions that will ensure a united Nigeria. A word is enough for the wise.

This exercise will not be complete without purging corrupt public officials and recovering their ill-gotten wealth, since the days of the oil boom till date. Even in these hard times, when Nigerians are dying from hunger, trekking many miles to work for lack of transportation, a few other Nigerians with complete impunity are living in unbelievable affluence both inside and outside the country.

We are extremely determined to recover all ill-gotten wealth back to the public treasury for the use of the masses of our people. You are all advised to remain calm as there is no cause for alarm. We are fully in control of the situation as directed by God. All airports, seaports and borders are closed forthwith.

The former Armed Forces Ruling Council is now disbanded and replaced with National Ruling Council to be chaired by the head of state with other members being a civilian vice-head of state, service chiefs, inspector general of police, one representative each from NLC, NUJ, NBA, and NANS.

A curfew is hereby imposed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. until further notice. All members of the armed forces and the police forces are hereby confined to their respective barracks.

All unlawful and criminal acts by those attempting to cause chaos will be ruthlessly crushed. Be warned as we are prepared at all costs to defend the new order.

All radio stations are hereby advised to hook on permanently to the national network programme until further notice.

Long live all true patriots of this great country of ours. May God and Allah through his bountiful mercies bless us all."
While Gideon Orkar's coup of 1990 looks idealistic, it was IRRESPONSIBLE and badly executed due to a poor knowledge of geography and history while the coup endangered the lives of millions of innocent Southerners and Middle Belt folks living in the far Northern States of Kano, Katsina, Sokoto, Bauchi, Borno, etc. This is primarily why the coup failed in addition to NOT factoring into consideration that those Northern States that were removed from Nigeria have indigenous Christians among the Hausas, Chibok is one of the many indigenous Christian communities in the Old Borno State.

Orkar and his co-travellers exised the Old Kano, Old Sokoto, Old Bauchi, Katsina, Old Borno, etc, forgetting that their are indigenous Christians among the Hausas especially in Southern Kano State, Minority ethnic groups who are largely Christians and adherents of their indigenous faiths. Therefore the military officers rallied round and countered the coup which I personally witnessed in 1990 and it was a very hot exchange mixed with uncertainty and fear after the FULL broadcast on radio

If any future division into about 8 countries by my estimate is to be done to Nigeria, it MUST be done peacefully like the former Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia (which is now the 2 countries of Czech Republic and Slovakia.

There is this circulating report on social media since last week that terrorists and kidnappers are planning to abduct more people in the coming days with a plan of using them as shield in case US military eventually strikes.

.. and now there has been heavy surge in attacks across the country in the last 48 hours
That's another possible angle to use innocent people as human shields. Eternal vigilance for those in those regions MUST be the key.

Man Escapes Fulani Kidnappers Disguised as Soldiers on Kabba–Okene Road

A man has narrated how he narrowly escaped from Fulani kidnappers dressed in army uniforms along the Kabba–Okene Road, while other passengers in the vehicle were abducted.

According to him, he fled when the kidnappers began leading the victims deep into the bush, but unfortunately, others were not so lucky. He explained that the attackers first opened fire on their bus, and when the bullets didn’t seem to have much effect, they resorted to using cutlasses.

From the video, the seats of the bus were seen stained with blood, suggesting that some passengers sustained serious injuries. Armed security personnel later arrived at the scene and were seen making inquiries about the movement of the gunmen. However, there was no report yet on whether the kidnappers were being pursued at the time of filing this report.

Watch the video and share your thoughts.

Foreign AffairsRe: Hannibal Gadhafi, Son Of Late Moammar Gadhafi, Released After 10 Years by AlphaTaikun: 10:29am On Nov 13, 2025
TouchNfollow:
Hannibal Gadhafi, son of late Libyan leader Moammar, released by Lebanon after 10 years in detention.

Hannibal Gaddafi, son of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, attends the signing agreement ceremony between Libya's Shipping Corporation and STX Europe to build a cruise ship, in Tripoli June 30, 2010.

Lebanese authorities released the son of late Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi on Monday after he paid a $900,000 bail, ending his 10-year detention for allegedly withholding information about a missing Lebanese cleric, security officials and a member of his defense team said.

One of Hannibal Gadhafi’s lawyers, Charbel Milad al-Khoury, told the Associated Press that Gadhafi was released Monday evening after necessary paperwork was finished. Two security officials, speaking on condition of anonymity in line with regulations, also confirmed that Gadhafi was set free.

“Hannibal is officially free and has the full right to choose the destination that he wants,” al-Khoury said. He refused to give further details about Gadhafi’s future movements out of security concerns.

The release came days after Lebanese authorities lifted a travel ban and reduced the bail for Hannibal Gadhafi, paving the way for his release.

Thursday’s decision by the country’s judicial authorities to lift the travel ban and reduce the bail from $11 million came days after a Libyan delegation visited Lebanon and made progress in talks for the release of Gadhafi.

In mid-October, a Lebanese judge ordered Gadhafi’s release on $11 million bail, but banned him from traveling outside Lebanon. His lawyers said at the time that he didn’t have enough to pay that amount, and sought permission for him to leave the country.

On Thursday, his bail was reduced to 80 billion Lebanese pounds (about $900,000) and the travel ban was lifted allowing him to leave the country once he pays the bail.

The two judicial and one security official said the bail was paid by the Libyan delegation. The Justice Ministry of the Tripoli-based government also posted on its social media platforms that the Libyan delegation paid the bail.

The judicial officials in Beirut said Gadhafi’s defense team withdrew a case against the Lebanese state that they had filed in Geneva last month over holding him without

Libya formally requested Hannibal Gadhafi’s release in 2023, citing his deteriorating health after he went on a hunger strike to protest his detention without trial.

Detained in Lebanon in 2015, Gadhafi was accused of withholding information about the fate of Lebanese Shiite cleric Moussa al-Sadr who disappeared during a trip to Libya in 1978, although the late leader’s son was less than 3 years old at the time.

Gadhafi had been living in exile in Syria with his Lebanese wife, Aline Skaf, and children until he was abducted in 2015 and brought to Lebanon by Lebanese militants who were demanding information about al-Sadr.

Lebanese police later announced they had seized Gadhafi from the northeastern Lebanese city of Baalbek where he was being held, and he had been held ever since in a Beirut jail, where he faced questioning over al-Sadr’s disappearance.

The case has been a long-standing sore point in Lebanon. The cleric’s family believes he may still be alive in a Libyan prison, though most Lebanese presume he is dead. He would be 96 years old.

Al-Sadr, who went missing with companions Abbas Badreddine and Mohammed Yacoub, was the founder of a Shiite political and military group that took part in the long Lebanese Civil War that began in 1975, largely pitting Muslims against Christians.

Hannibal Gadhafi, who was born nearly three years before al-Sadr disappeared, fled to Algeria after his father was toppled and Tripoli fell to opposition fighters, along with his mother and several other relatives. He later moved to Syria where he was given political asylum and stayed there until he was abducted.

Moammar Gadhafi had eight children from two marriages. Most of them had significant roles in his government. His son Muatassim was killed at the same time as the leader was captured and slain. Two other sons, Saif al-Arab and Khamis, were killed in the uprising.
[b]Saif al-Islam, the one-time heir apparent to his father, has been in Libya since his release from detention there in 2017. Gadhafi’s son Mohammed and daughter Aisha live in Oman. Al-Saadi, a former soccer player, was released from prison in Libya in 2021 after being jailed following repatriation from Niger in 2014, and is believed to be living in Turkey.

https://edition.cnn.com/2025/11/10/middleeast/hannibal-gadhafi-released-lebanon-latam-intl
Hannibal has to keep watching his back because their are people who don't like the Gaddafi family lineage because of their ruthlessness while their father was in power. There are several video EVIDENCE of torture to back these claims up.

Gaddafi was a maximum dictator and NEVER a good person contrary to the utopian fantasies of the younger generation born from the 1990s who do NOT know him very well as he was one of the major supporters and financiers of global Islamist terror groups and the world is still experiencing the effects till date.

Alleged Genocide: US Congressman Says Trump May Adopt Sanctions Than Military Action In Nigeria

United States Congressman, Bill Huizenga, has said that President Donald Trump is unlikely to take military action in Nigeria despite his recent threat to go “guns-ablazing” over alleged killings of Christians and other Nigerians.

Speaking in an interview with Arise TV , Huizenga clarified that Trump’s comments were more about expressing frustration with ongoing violence than indicating a real plan for military intervention.

According to the US lawmaker, the American President’s priority is likely to focus on using economic and individual sanctions to pressure those responsible, rather than launching an invasion.

He said, “I too was surprised by the comments that they came out; that the President came out that forcefully. I suspect that that is not a high priority of having actual military intervention, specifically in Nigeria. But I think he does want to make sure that, from his view, the genocide that is happening specifically against Christians, but also others in Nigeria, needs to stop. While I don’t envision a surprise attack, I don’t envision that there’s going to be a military response.”

Huizenga emphasised that sanctions targeting individuals and organisations could be the most effective approach to ending the violence.

“First, as we had talked about, I would first and foremost encourage them to look at the economic pressure and sanctions on both individuals and organisations. I think that would be the most effective,” he said.

He also suggested that Trump’s history of prioritising diplomacy over warfare further reduces the likelihood of a US-led military intervention.

“Frankly, this President has been someone who has pursued peace rather than just expanding war. So I think he would be very selective before he did anything militarily,” Huizenga added.

According to him, economic sanctions would not only send a strong signal but also cut off the funding networks sustaining violent groups.

“Sanctions really cut off the flow of money, cut off the flow of travel. We don’t know who exactly is financing much of these operations from the Fulani or Boko Haram in the past. And what I do know is, though, if we put economic pressure on them and the inability to move money around, that will have an impact, I think a positive impact,” he said.

In a speech seen by SaharaReporters, Trump reiterated that he has designated Nigeria a “country of particular concern” over what he described as large-scale killings of Christians and warned that Washington could cut aid or even take military action if the violence continues.

“Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria, thousands and thousands of Christians are being killed, radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter. I am hereby making Nigeria a country of particular concern, that is a legal definition,” Trump wrote in a social media post.

He drew attention to global figures and urged rapid action from U.S. lawmakers. “When the Christians or any such group is slaughtered like it's happening in Nigeria 3100 Vs 4476 Worldwide, what horrible numbers.”

Trump called on members of Congress to move quickly, singling out appropriations leaders. “Something has to be done, I am asking Congressman Riley Moore together with Chairman Tom Cole and the House Appropriations Committee to immediately look into this matter to report back to me, I mean like immediately.”

He added that the United States would intervene to protect religious minorities. “The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria and other countries. It's not only in Nigeria, it's all over. We are able and willing to defend Christians, the killing of Christians, it is not going to happen.”

The "Rethugs" are beginning to back-pedal after all the "huffin and puffin."

This is what those of us who are experts in the knowledge of advanced global geopolitical dynamics have been saying BUT some uninformed young posters and secessionists come online to post half-baked opinions.

In the wake of the current longest ever U.S. Government shutdown in American history and several U.S. Federal workers (including military personnel) NOT being paid their salaries yet, MANY Americans are right NOW NOT in support of any United States military intervention in Nigeria because it is tax-payers money that is being used on these foreign military interventions. Several online platforms have this strong push-backs with Americans and others asking why the United States didn't protect indigenous Arab Christians in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria. Some even noted with frustration that U.S. military interventions over the decades had NOT resolved jihadi groups from still operating till date BUT they only got WORSE.

The United States under the current POTUS who is very garrulous and unwisely revealed tactical military information (in his online rants) which made the Fula militia bandits and jihadi groups to start fleeing Nigeria with reports of large numbers of foreign Fula militia bandits on motor bikes fleeing into the Fula side of Adamaoua in Cameroon (and Gumi who is a Fula by origin as well) has fled Nigeria to Turkey. The Sultan of Sokoto being an ex-Nigerian Army officer (just like Gumi) is the well-known leader and grand patron of the Fula Miyetti Allah for the whole minority Fulas of West Africa, so the source of the Fula militia terror funding is known.

The United States MUST urgently share ADVANCED intelligence information and use the LIGHT option method (in massive covert joint military operations with Nigerian military forces) using surveillance and attack drones strikes to jointly strike the many Northern Nigeria forests and decimate the different jihadi terror groups operating in Nigeria such as BH and their breakaway faction ISWAP, the foreign Fula militia bandits and Lakurawa bandits (who are Tuaregs from Niger Republic and Northern Mali). Even Niger Republic, Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad, Northern Cameroon have to be attacked to CLEAR out these bandits and jihadi groups.

Donald Trump was careless in trying to blame Nigeria totally for the continued spread of these foreign jihadi groups knowing FULL WELL that the borders are porous and jihadis groups like the JNIM of Mail, Niger Republic and Burkina Faso (over half of Mali and Burkina Faso are in the hands of JNIM) operate in several countries of the West African Sahel as far as Somalia and parts of Kenya. The United States too has in the past been responsible for funding these Islamist groups during the Cold War with the Soviet Union with the Osama Bin Laden example until Osama turned around to become a terror to American global interests.

It shows how Yerima lacks foresight and security consciousness as a Navy personnel.

Besides, it's very CLEAR from watching 4 different videos and reading the transcript of the altercation that Yerima triggered the angered of Nyesom Wike by telling and countering Wike incorrectly that the land of the retired CNS was legally acquired which Lere Olayinka CLARIFIED on Channels Television with Maupe Ogun just yesterday was illegally got and Lere said the Ex-CNS was Scammed.

That was an IRRESPONSIBLE statement for Yerima to make and it's NOW obvious that Yerima was working for the ex-CNS.

However Wike has to go for urgent anger management therapy and these military guys MUST maintain proper conduct when dealing with civilians and others. Military men are trained with Nigeria's money and have NO right to intimidate innocent people like some of them have been doing. The illegal invasion of BANEX Plaza in the FCT about 3 years ago by some military officers to intimidate and brutalise some shop owners is a classic case study here.

The Department of State Services, DSS, Nigeria’s domestic intelligence agency, has filed a six-count charge against 27-year-old Innocent Chukwuemeka Onukwume for allegedly calling for the overthrow of President Bola Tinubu’s administration through a military coup.

Onukwume, a resident of Umusayo Layout in Oyigbo Local Government Area, Rivers State, reportedly made the calls for a coup in tweets posted on his X account (@theagroman) in October, according to the charges.

The charges, filed before the Federal High Court in Abuja under case number FHC/ABJ/CR/610/2025, alleged that Onukwume also sought assistance from members of the military to execute the alleged coup.

The filing was submitted on November 11 by A. M. Danalami on behalf of the DSS.

These are the kinds of young people who don't want to learn and realize (despite monumental archival evidence) that military dictatorship is one of the WORSE things that can ever happen to any country in terms of freedom and massive human rights violations.

That highly corrupt military dictator Sani Abacha looted a whopping over 4 billion USD of Nigeria's money in the late 1990s via the CBN into his offshore bank accounts in what is now famously known internationally as the "Abacha LOOT." Nigeria has been receiving some of the stolen money back from time to time.

The ignorant young ones here on NL (mostly of Ibo origin who created NL threads and posts openly calling for military coup against the Nigerian President 'Bola Tinubu between the years 2023 and 2025) and on other platforms should beware of supporting nonsense in form of military rule.

PoliticsRe: Buratai Is Amaechi’s Man, His Statement Didn’t Surprise Us - Wike's Aide by AlphaTaikun: 9:11pm On Nov 12, 2025
nairavsdollars:
Mr. Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Publicity and Communications to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said that the minister is not surprised by the recent comments made by former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai (rtd), over Wike’s encounter with a naval officer in Abuja.

Buratai, in a statement posted on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday, had warned that the altercation between Wike and the naval officer posed a “clear and present danger to national security.”

He argued that Wike’s conduct undermined the authority of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and eroded military discipline, describing it as “a public humiliation of a soldier” and “an attack on the foundation of national order.”

Reacting on Wednesday in a chat with DAILY INDEPENDENT, Olayinka said the minister is unbothered by Buratai’s remarks, noting that the retired general is an ally of Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of Transportation and Wike’s predecessor as Governor of Rivers State.

“Buratai spoke as a politician. He is now in the political arena. Buratai is Rotimi Amaechi’s spokesperson. He was the DG of Amaechi’s campaign in the 2023 presidential election. And you know Amaechi and Wike are like words and opposite. So, what do you expect Buratai to say?” Olayinka said.

He added that since Buratai has now stepped into the political arena, Wike’s camp is “not surprised by the statement he made.”

The altercation in question reportedly occurred in Abuja when Wike confronted a naval officer over issues related to traffic management and enforcement within the city. The incident, which was captured in a viral video, drew mixed reactions from the public — with some defending the minister’s insistence on law and order, and others faulting his approach as high-handed.

Lt. Gen. Buratai (rtd), who served as Chief of Army Staff between 2015 and 2021 under President Muhammadu Buhari, has in recent years maintained political ties, notably serving as Director-General of Rotimi Amaechi’s presidential campaign organisation during the 2023 All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries.

The renewed exchange adds another layer to the long-standing political rivalry between Wike and Amaechi, two of Rivers State’s most influential politicians whose feud has shaped the state’s political landscape for over a decade.

richmond500:
You are wrong, chief of defence staff is under the minister of defence and he report to him.

This means that, politically and administratively, the Minister of FCT outranks the CDS because all ministers are part of the President’s cabinet.

However, Operationally in military terms, the CDS has command power over all military personnel, including those stationed in the FCT.

So if there’s a security issue, the Minister of FCT cannot order soldiers directly, he must work through the President or Minister of Defence, who in turn gives instructions to the CDS.
Succinctly put.

Erix1600:
You need to begin by breaking it into daily, weekly and monthly target. You said 5K daily minimum. Therefore you are looking at 35K weekly and 150k monthly.

I will advise you scout for food stuff that are quite expensive in PH but cheaper in other places like Edo state, Akwa ibom, or Cross River State. There are many of such edibles you can import to PH because foodstuffs in PH is almost double of the price in Edo and certain areas in Akwa Ibom/ Cross River States.

With 1m in this business, you can be making over 150K every 2weeks when you buy whole and sell whole. U can begin with less than 500k as a beginner.

Try it and thank me later.
Succinctly stated.

This commodities arbitrage is exactly what I partly alluded to in my post as well in addition to value addition or processing to increase returns on Investments.

Great contributions from brilliant posters on this thread.

What business can a 45 years old man start with 1m in ph to get 5k above daily.
Anything agribusiness (value addition or processing of agri-commodities into finished consumables) will move in PH as feeding is very important.
