Asswipemod: Don't mind the guy. I know this is what he's going to say. He is never on the side of truth. Look at him calling the incident of shasha and claiming victim knowing fully well that they were the aggressors. @Arewa1stson.... Which other region in Nigeria have a woman been killed just because she said to someone no to perform absolution in the front of her shop just as it happened in kofar wambai. Which tribe in Nigeria have killed someone in cold blood just because she was preaching close a mosques. Rccg pastoress comes to mind. You always want to claim victim, but point to me just one crisis that happened in the south without you guys been the aggressors. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Just take a look at the news on the front page about the 22 people killed in Zamfara state by bandits. Why are the northerners not reacting generally to this news. I did not see comment from you and your gangs on how the north dont forget. Cos I remembered vividly well during the crisis at shasha market, all what you guys were saying was that the north never forgets. How come you guys haven't done something about these bandits just as you guys where reacting to the issue of shasha market. Let me ask you again, just as Bishop Kukah said, if the president were to be a southern christian, will you guys actually be quite and swallow all that is going on in the north. In fact, lets turn the table around on the current issue going on in this country. With banditry situation facing the north, lets assume the kind of force the army used against ESN in Imo state was used on the local vigilante in Zamfara who are trying to protect their people from marauding bandits whilst the army didn't do anything against those bandits. In this scenario, if the president where to be a christian, will the north be quite. Look at what Sheik Gumi is doing. look at all the inflammatory statement he has been making, yet no one have said a word against him. Aside from Reno Omokri, who else have condemned Gumi actions and words. But when Bishop Kukah made a statement which was obviously true, most norhtern group were calling for his arrest. Even the presidential media team all want his head on a platter. But now, they are silent on Gumi. Its action like this that makes people from the south to belive that the north have sinister agenda against this nation. Look at the way students are been kidnapped and released as if they went on excursion. This is the thrid time, no arrest have been made so far, no serious military action. Now tell me. Why wont southerners see it as a game plan by the north to use this banditry to pilfer our national resources. Can you justify the military action against ESN in orlu, but haven't done anything against the bandits. Even when the location of the bandits is so easy to detect else how is Gumi visiting them as if he is entering his room. I really want you to give me a matured response without insult and tribal comments. CC: Arewa1stson NafeesaAA Abdul Yenefer and co... 14 Likes 2 Shares |

I hope you know that the carnage, destruction, kidnapping, raping that these bandits carry out in Zamfara, Katsina and Sokoto alone is more than times 10 of what is been experienced in the south. But because of lack of media coverage and lack of social media exposure by the youth of those area, a lot of those atrocities goes unreported. But you who claim to be a northerner will not see all those carnages as an attack on the people of the north, its the southern defense mechanism against the bandits that you are complaining about. I hope you know that there were times in some part of Katsina state where almost every mass gathering of people such as wedding, burial, celebration etc can not be successfully carried out without bandits attacking and kidnapping them. If you truly love the north as you claim, you ought to be at the forefront of reporting the activities of the bandits... You ought to be at the forefront of bringing to the light the evils that the bandits unleash on innocent villagers so that the central govt will see it and take action. But no, you only prefer to play down the news by calling it fake news. Then you will conclude with your signatory phrase that zamfara state is more peaceful than the entire south. I hope you know that the more you down play the news of the activities of these bandits, you are indirectly aiding the bandits to unleash more evils on the innocent villagers. I read the thread that NafeesAAA created, I just noticed that the first thing you did was to attack her by calling her a southern. Very typical of you, you left the message that she was tryiong to pass and went ahead to attack her personality. Even if NafeeSaaa is a southerner, didnt you see that she took off those comments from Facebook which obviously bears the name of northerners. Why did you have to attack her whilst she wasn't even the original author of those comments. Are you really allergic to seeing the truth. And let me tell you, after that Kanti Kwari kidnapping, a lot of people who are close to the victims are begging to have a change of view and ideology about this country. They are beginning to see that the enemy they think they have are not actually their enemy. I personally know one of the victim, and when I went to visit him. His words was that "He is surprised that bandits are roaming freely in this country and the govt have refused to do anything about it". 12 Likes 2 Shares |

Second question. I hope you knw that in Niger state, since around Oct last year, there have been an offensive attack by some villagers in Niger State against killer herdsmen. I think, sometimes ending of last year Miyetti Allah complained about the death of some of their members who were killed in Niger state. Niger state is not in the southern region, why didn't you complain that the action of the people of Niger state is a calculated attack against the north. You choose to turn a blind eye to that issue because it doesn't go in line with the agenda that you are pushing. Do you knw that in Zamfara and Katsina, for more than 3 years plus, the local vigilante in that area have been the once at the forefront of defending the villages from bandits. At times, they even go on the offensive by going into the hideouts of bandits to attack them. But because the vigilante are outnumbered and out gunned by the bandits, their effort is not really felt. But you choose to turn a blind eye to the happenings there. But now that the South have taken law into their hands to defend their land by asking herders to leave the forest, you are calling it a calculated attack against the north. 14 Likes 1 Share |

This thread isn't to created to bash any one, neither am I trying to use it to attack a particular tribe or region. I created this thread so as to have a talk with Arrewa and his brothers. I had to create this thread after reading the comments and response by Arrewa and his brothers on this particular thread. https://www.nairaland.com/6395292/there-growing-resentment-fulani-herdsmen Seriously, I was shocked and disappointed from the comments I read there. Cos if the enlightened youth of the north all have the type of mentality and ideology that I saw in that thread, then something is really wrong. The comment that got me the most was when one of them said that "He can not leave his tribe/religion to side with someone from another tribe/religion". The quoted may not be the direct translation cos the person wrote it in hausa.(I will look for the comment and post here). This particular comment reminded me of the things I have experienced here in the north... even when you are right, once you have an altercation with a northerner, they rally round their people to face you. And a perfect example is what out govt are currently doing. First of all, the question I want to ask you guys is, Are you guys comfortable with the current state of this nation?. Why do you always have to defend evils and injustice in this nation just to protect you vested interest?. Why is it that you guys turn a blind eye when your people commits a crime, but quick to react when the victims of such crime retaliate. During the Endsars, you were all over nairaland making it look as if the south were targeting the north. But you failed to realize that there was a general attack on everyone and everything that the hoodluums could lay their hands on. Do you knw the value of properties that where destroyed in Lagos alone. DO you know the number of vehicles that were attacked and destroyed?. How come you didn't react to the action of your brothers in Abuja against the innocent protesters. All what you were saying is that the north never forgets. Eden in Obigbo where the protest turned into a riot, did you actually find out what happened the day before the market there was attacked. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Just like the story of Kankara school boys. See new clothes on them. Who took their measuremnet for the new cloths. Did the officials know when they will be released for them to get the cloths ready. Or the boys all have new cloths at home waiting for a day like this. Even a toddler knows that this kidnap is staged. 1 Like |

GamalNasser: It's so glaring now. If you follow the story of how ransom was paid for the release of those people kidnapped on their way to Aba market, you will get to know that tracking and arresting this bandits is as simple as ABC. There was no serious precaution on the part of the bandits. Everything was done in broad daylight light using the conventional phone that everyone one uses. Yet the security agents won't clamp down on them. But if something goes wrong in the south, all the service chiefs will be issuing threats. 1 Like |

Day by Day, the presidency keep doing things that suggest that they are protecting the bandits causing havoc in this country. And it seems like they are working hand in hand with miyetti Allah. How come everything that concern the Fulani is a priority for the president. Why can't the Fulani adjust their life style to fit in a modern world. See garba shehu responding to the eviction order giving by the gov of Ondo state. Just watch and see how presidential media will twist the words of the gov to make it look like he ordered the fulanis out of the state. The gov only asked them to leave the forest, why is garba shehu making seem like it's an eviction out of the state. Moreover, why will the fulanis be leaving inside the forest. Why can't they leave in town as every other citizens. Why can't they rent houses or buy land to build their own houses. It's only those with criminal intention that will leave the comfort of township and all it provides to go leave in forest using resources freely. Then after like 20-30years, their children will now come and claim that the forest belong to their forefathers. It will even be nice, let every state govt evict any individual leaving inside the forest. If you feel the forest is best suitable for you to train your cows, then pay the govt and rent or buy it so that they govt can have a record of who resides their. 14 Likes 1 Share |

solmusdesigns: You last comment... There are lots of people who don't term a whole religion followers as terrorist. But that perception is as a result of silence and action from some Muslims. Take for example, between 2000-10, some of the riots that happened in the north are as a result of some events that occurred in far away country like in the middle east, Europe or America. But the innocent Nigerian feel the heat. At times, issues happen and you don't get condemnation from the followers, this give people the general perception that majority of "you" are in support of what is happening. 1 Like |

badaks3230:I want to believe that this is the statement that rose the dust. Plz tell me how did people like us turned things into a religious issue. You and I knows that a lot of ills committed by this government got away as a result of northern political leaders using religion to confuse the northern people. During the endsars protest, you and I knows the reason why majority of the north didn't protest. To the extent that they begin to see it as a conspiracy against Buharis govt. I don't want to start bringing up old stories to avoid some people taking this thread personal. The bishop didn't put all Muslims together. The bishop only said that some people would have been kicking tooth and nail to pull down the govt if it were to be someone from the opposite divide. You and I knows that this is the truth. I remember the encounter between the military and Shi'ite members during Jonathan. We all know how majority of the northners used that as weapon to attack Jonathan that he is killing Muslims, even El Rufai himself complained. But today, what haven't bubu and El Rufai done against the Shiite, all they get is a path at the back from his people. What does that tell you. 2 Likes |
Politics / To The Muslim Members On Niaraland!! What Did Kukah Said Wrongly. by AltarBoy1: 8:48pm On Jan 15, 2021 |
I wanted to make this post on Islamic section, but seeing the oath I have to take before opening a topic there, I have no option than to bring it to politics. So today, I was in a public transport going to work when we saw a news paper headline that has to do with Kukah's speech. Then one of the passenger made a statement that really hurt my feelings and it seems like majority of the passengers share same view with him. I wouldn't want to say his exact words, but in summary he was like Kukah's speech was a direct attack on their religion. Right in my mind, I was really surprised how these guys have taken a mere speech as an attack on religion. Sheikh Gumi have spoken a lot, Sultan of Sokoto have spoken too, no one reacted to their speech as they are doing to Kukah's own. My question to the Muslims on this forum, what exactly did Kukah said that made his speech an attack on your religion. Please can you quote the part of his speech or his words that is an attack to your religion. Maybe there is something that we are not seeing or maybe our Christians eyes cants see that part. Plz kindly point out to us the part of Kukah's speech that is inciting and insultive to your religion. I await your response. 7 Likes 1 Share |

The people are a reflection of what the leaders say to them. Govt haven't been sincere with the issue of Corona. The average Nigeria thinks that Corona is not real in Nigeria. In the news, we see videos and pictures of how Corona virus patients are been treated and handled. But in Nigeria everything is secrecy. How then do you want the people to take the virus serious. 100 Likes 6 Shares |

This is becoming too much. The other day, they killed a business man cos he refused to buy stolen cattles from them. If the security agencies can't handle these bandits, let all the locals prepare themselves for defence. It's high time they flush out any one leaving I. The bushes and forests. If these fullania cannot come to town and rent an apartment, then they should go back to Niger republic. 15 Likes 1 Share |

While at least N99.4bn was saved from the cancellation of hajj, not less than N3.7bn was saved from Christian pilgrimage, which did not take place in the Easter and Christmas periods 99.4bn for hajj and 3.7bn for Christian pilgrimage. Yet they tell us that this country is fair to all, I hope they make allocation for iffa and amadioha worshippers too . Keeping that aside, 104bn spent on religious ground. Religion should be a personal thing, what da f is govt doing spending tax payers money on this. If for the past ten years this budget have been used to fund our railway, by now all the states would have been connected. We really have brainless leaders 1 Like |
