@Prof800... You need to understand something. Nollywood is good, but the rate at which they are going, they are regressing instead of progressing. The films they are chunning out these days are only suitable to all these lover ladies/girls, on how to date, make money and the rest of them. The little ones that have good stories will not end well. Nothing fascinating about their movies these days. They need to improve realy well. Again, why will advert take about 15-20 mins in a disc plate that has 45-55mins duration, in other words, a part of film lasts only abt 30min. Also, the have resorted in giving silly names to their movies cos instead of having a part name for a movie with parts ranging frm 1-5/8, they will rather have different names after every 2 parts. How ridiculous!!!

All they do is change clothes and cars and expose their bodies and recycle old stories over and over. No creativity, no passion just nothing its so annoying!

I am realy pissed off with this MTN. They keep ripping Nigerians off in every little way they can. Why is NCC not doing something about the scam ways in which mTN use to rip pple off. Some days back, I bought the daily 2hrs bundle and I was given 150MB fair used. So I started browsing. After I have consumed abt 80-90MB, the netwrk became extremely slow as though I was in a no netwrk area. That was how it continued till the time (24hrs) expired. So I thought it was probably netwrk that went bad. Just last nyt, I bought another one, after abt 80-90Mb usage, it started again with slow netwrk thing, even though I was using it at nyt when netwrk seems to be pretty fast. I called a friend of mine and he told me that he had similar experience with that bundle on several occasion. Now why is MTN scamming us. Why did they give say you have 150mb fair usage whilst you can use atmost 100mb, the rest been wasted on slow connection. I wish I can just walk into their office and break all the glasses there.

Hey...you guys don't get me wrong!!....there are some good Nollywood movies....1998 to 2005...where the quality of production was poor...but jeez...the story lines and much better over all acting made them interesting. It's funny that at that time the stars weren't celebrities...but now....more celebrities than stars and almost all the movies suck...big time!

I used to watch nollywood movie back then, esp those one that have village settings, such as igodo and co. I can also remember great films like nneka the pretty serpent, blood money etc coming from nollywood back then. Those films are good, but recent once from nollywood are nothing to write home abt.

Make I start. During my project period, we were 5 in my group and our topic was "production of alcoholic wine from fruit must". So as usual, we set to got, got all the necessary requirement and set to a science and technology center cos our sch didnt have the equipment for controlled fermentation. As we were making progress in our project, we were at the controlled fermentation stage which was already in its last stage when the center went on strike without notice. Our project defence was scheduled to take place in the upcoming week. We went to the center several times to get out project, but the center was locked down and the security guard said he has no clearnce to open up the place for us. We prayed and hoped for them to call off the strike, but 4 wia, dem no call off. Finally, the center called off the strike and we went to get our projuct. Low and behold, the wine was spoilt and our defence was only two days away. Like play like play one of our colleague said he has a plan, that we shld all go home and prepare for the defence. On the defence day, we all came to our meeting point for revision. Alas, the guy came with orange juice and empty bottle of wine. So we poured the juice inside the bottle and mixed it with gulder so as to have the alcoholic "aroma". We made sure we corked the bottle in a manner that will be difficult to open so that the panel wont be able to open it, and our side, we have planned already to pretend as if it too strong for us to open it. That was how we went in and did our presentation without the panel suspecting our foul play.

This thread is dedicated to all those who have to do sily, ridiculous things or have to manipulate their final year project (process) in other to meet up with deadline, beat down cost or make things easier and faster for them.

How about ESUT. The only university that depicts the true state of Nigeria. Even ordinary course rep election, tribalizm have to set in. But in all, the sch is great. Proudly an ESUTITE.

We now have 3 pple who are interested. Altarboy1, youmour and sophieabou. We will keep counting. Once we get about 20 pple, we set the ball rolling by discussing on the script to act.

Nothing is imposible you knw. All we need is those who are willing to partake. Then we come together and come up with a script or contact the guys in literature section. There are a good number of script writers there.

am telling you... Unlike other movies that you have to think and brainstorm on what will happen next, learn how they contruct words and action to give proper meaning and understanding of films. I was watch IRIS, a korean seasonal movie. Men, even though those guys cant be compared with hollywood, but the movie made sense, was acted in 5diff country, china, japan, d two koreas and hungary.(dis is not showing anoda part of korea and caaling it anoda country cos u can actually see d diff in pple and enviromnt). Why cant nollywood come up wt smtin unique.

lol... What surprises me most is that, even with all the high classed celebrity actor dat we have, they still act trash... Most times, am even ashamed of watching some nolly wood films and i will be like arent the actors ashamed of acting such crap...
