Good day friends.
I know this may sound senseless and ridiculous, but am just thinking if we can come together, develop a script with each person taking a role to act after which we look for producers (probably there might be some of them on nairaland or people willing to sponsor us) who can then help us with the production and marketing to the public. We can work on a season film if we can come up with a "long-nice-story". I believe that with the talents we have here on nairaland and writers from literature and diary sections, we can be able to develop a good story that is entirely different from the type produced by nollywood. Plz, no insult, as I already knw this to be a ridiculous idea. But all the same, there is no crime in air out my view.

The fact is, basically all southerners in the north knws that if Buhari wins APC primaries and becomes the party's flag bearer, then they will surely leave the northern part before the main election. But if its any other candidate aside Buhari, then there is hope that nothing will happen.

This is clearly my own opinion.
We all know the religous tension that have engulf Nigeria esp as the northerner muslims are always at the forefront of starting a religion crisis. Buhari contesting for the president is like initiating a "religious crisis reaction", waiting for an enzyme to activate it and that enzyme is if he LOSSES.
We all know what happened in 2011 as most of the northern states went into religous crisis after the presidential result was announced. Just like Shiek Gumi said, Buhari is seen by the average northern muslim as one who represent Islam, albiet even if pdp field a muslim candidate who is not from the core north, the average northern muslims will see him as enemy of Islam and not an oppositon of Buhari and will likely start a crisis if Buhari losses to him. So, to keep Nigeria safe and united, apc should field any candidate other than Buhari (irrespective of his religion), this in a way will remove the Islamic eyes with which northern muslims are viewing this upcoming election. Am not here to prophesize, but believe me, if Buhari should loss this election, (whether free/fair or not) there is 75percent chances of religous crisis igniting in the northern part of the country.

Right now, am not feeling alright. My joblessness is realy getting me down and am kinda feeling suicidal...
Every morning I wake up, running through different area, looking for jobs or business to do. The job is not forth coming and the businesses I could do require some capital which I dont have. Right now, its just as if my world has ended.
God, am I the only graduate who is jobless despite my effort or are there others like me... When I mean jobless, I mean not having anything to do at all.

Thank YOU for the life you have given to me, thank you for my family and my friends and thank You for your provision.
I just want to ask, how come everything I do is crumbling despite the effort that I have been making. They said hardwork pays, but I have tried my best in the little way that I can but nothing seem to be working. Its getting to 18mnths after my NYSC and am yet to get a job, even the little biz that I try to embark on is not moving and lacking serious capital. Most time I feel like giving up, but I just dont know.
I pray that you come to my aid soon enough before I do something crazy.

My friend just feel for this scam. He paid about 5k for wine and 3k for medical report. The girl(scammer) still went ahead to ask him to pay in another 3k to finally process his applcation, that was when he alerted me and I told him it was a scam. Plz guys, bewae of AMANDA OKOLO on facebook. She is the scammer and she works with some other guys that will claim to work in same company, she always claim to be working for an oil company in HR department. The email she normally use is bxnnnnnn@gmail.com.

There is a serious pro-democracy protest going on in Hong Kong city of China... Started since yesterday. Protesters are demanding for an open election for the city's mayor come 2017 as against the Chinese govt's election provision that will only see 3 pro-communist candidate contesting for the post. The govt is scared that if Hong Kongers succeed in having an open election, other major cities might want same and this could lead to the collapse of the communist regime. Though the police are all out agianst them but the protesters are still on grounp. For more details visit any news site. I understand you. But like I said, if EEDC knw what NERC's provision is on this matter, why will they delibrately want to break... I believe its cos they knw that we Nigerians dont care abt what is going on and what they do.

I dont normally owe them as I pay my bill often and I equally monitor the way I use my current so as to cut excess. My bill hardly gets above 2k including fixed charges. So the total payment on the bill for the month of august is less than 1.5k including the FC. My point isnt abt the money, but why cant they keep to the stipulated rule governing them...

I read on the website of National Electricity Regulation Company (NERC) that with effect from May 2014, "that any customer who did not enjoy electricity supply for more than 15 days cumulatively in a month is not entitled to pay the fixed charges that comes with the monthly bill". Now, its getting to 40days+ and we have not seen even a flash of light in our area, since 9th of august. The bill for the month of august came in like two days back, with fixed charges among the total payment due for us. Now, even though the fixed charge is less than 1k, will it be foolish of me to go to their office and challenge them to remove it or should I just close my eye and let it be. Note, am not the type that turn a blind eye when things go wrong. I can use a much larger fund to pursue justice even when the outcome might be little. Thanks.
