PDP has always housed most notable and influential Igbo politicians but the irony is that Igbos in PDP absolutely have nothing to show from their age long marriage with PDP in terms of infrastructural development in the region.


It is very clear that in PDP, Igbo views, our interests, our contributions and our feelings mean little or nothing. This is why every Igbo son and daughter should embrace APC for our economic, political and social survival in a Country we have done more than any other race to sustain.

The leader of APC in Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu makes no pretenses of his Igboness. His primary constituency is Igboland. His primary objective is to project and protect Igbo interests that’s why we are calling on every Igbo son and daughter in the Senate and elsewhere to support him for the Senate leadership.

If OUK becomes the Senate President, he has the charismatic mass appeal and wherewithal to race down the APC led Federal Government to Igboland triumphantly for Infrastructural developments in the region.

The North has many prominent, accomplished and intelligent Senators who are eminently qualified to be Senate President. The South equally has a countless number of such eminent Senators. However, our appeal to Nigerians is to rally round Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu and give him all the necessary support he needs to become the Senate President of the 9th Assembly.

This will lay a solid foundation for greater national integration where people are given the opportunity to serve irrespective of the part of the Country they come from.

OUK’s leadership will bring stability in the Senate for the common good of all.

The Presidency should also support this noble call for OUK’s Senate leadership in order to avoid boxing itself into a corner that can be hijacked out of it’s control like the Saraki’s era.

As already well said elsewhere, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu is well educated enough, experienced enough and meaning well enough to be the Senate President. Leaders with vision and personal example like OUK are needed for progress.

Nigeria needs OUK. Nigerians want him. He is not going to be the Senate President for the Igbos but Senate President for the whole Country. No more unnecessary distractions and let’s give him a chance.

The Abia state Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu today paid unscheduled visit to Abayi Secondary & Primary School and Osusu Amaukwa Secondary and Primary School.

Below are 9 key things the governor said as reported by Igbere TV correspondent in Aba.

1. Promises to build 13 new model schools in addition to the existing 4.

2. Directs ASUBEB to construct 300 new classroom blocks in addition to the 359 done in his first term.

3. Vows to continue the school feeding program and explore possibility of extending it to junior secondary schools in the state.

4. Directs private school proprietors to ensure that school buildings are constructed with sporting facilities and mirror existing public model schools in the state.

5. Directs the State’s Ministry of Education to collaborate with Ministries of Science, Land/Planning to ensure that all school buildings in the state have strong foundations and are safe for school children.

6. Directs security agencies to ensure the protection of all public schools in order to avoid miscreants using the facilities as hideouts and places for their nefarious activities.

7. Assures on continuous training and improved welfare for teachers within the public school system.

8. Sets to launch compulsory IT based learning system in all primary and secondary schools in the state.

9. Expresses desire to ensure that Abia continues to lead in Nigeria, especially in STEM education.

The Plateau State police command has arrest three cultist belonging to dreaded "" group in JOS the plateau state capital for killing barbing Saloon operator, "Edu Brazil"

Igberetv report that the cultist group has been terrorising parts of of the state for quite awhile committing one form of crime and the other.

The plateau state police commissioner Olutayo Akinmoyede stated this in a press briefing held at the command Headquarters along Abrahim Taiwo Road during the parade of the suspects.

The commissioner of Police who called the press conference to review the achievement of the command in crime fighting in the state and its environ, told igberetv that the suspects who were three in number were been changed for criminal conspiracy, Armed Robbery and culpable homicide.

He further revealed to igberetv that the arrest of the suspect followed a report to the command by one promise Chigundu on the March 19th,2019 that his elder brother with the name "Edu Brazil" operating barbing saloon shop located at Bible Faith ,laranto in JOS North LGA was shot dead.

The commissioner added that the brother of the deceased describe the people that committed the heinous crime to have been riding on Power Bike, which they he said also stole three handsets belonging to the victim" Edu Brazil."

Olutayo said on getting the report, the police swung into action which led to the arrest of one of the prime suspect, Chukwudi Okafor,which eventually led to the arrest of more two said to be behind the crime,and gave their names as Otega Ezekiel Benjamin and Mencha Weng as the suspects has made useful statement ,which led to the Police recovery of the weapon they use for their operations.

The weapon recovered from them include locally made pistol, live cartridges ,cutlass and three handsets belonging to the victim "Edu Brazil."

The command also paraded a young lady Patricia Felix who allegedly lured his supposedly lover to a house located at West of Mines, and secretly invited three armed men who come and robbed him of his wrist watch valued three hundred thousand naira ,and physical cash of ten thousand .

The commissioner further said the case was however report to the command which led to the arrest of Abraham Oko and innocent Audu and the wrist watch of the complainant was recovered and third suspect still on the run.

Other suspects paraded before the newsmen igberetv report were case of culpable homicide involving Abrahim Sanusi age 19years leaving at Gangare in JOS North LGA and four of his gang members who invaded Tudun Talakawa of Rikkos and attacked Usani Mohammed and Shafiu Hussaini who came to rescue their victims ,in the process they use cutlass and severed the right hand of Shafiu Hussaini.

The commissioner said Umar Alhassan had been arrested, currently undergoing investigation.

He however ,use the press conference to appeal to the people of plateau state to conduct themselves during the rerun election in the state schedule to hold 23rd March,2019,and stay away from anything capable of causing breakdown of law and order, as the Police is ready to deal with anybody who may want to cause problem in the state.
