The same system that prosecuted Saraki for years and ended up saying he has no case to answer to .
The same system that refused to find Mohammed abacha guilty
The same system that tried al-mustapha for more than ten years
The same system that never jailed any obviously corrupt politician.
And so on....

Law -abiding staff of The Sun Publishing Limited resumed work this morning, June 12, 2017 to behold heavily armed EFCC operatives in our company. They claimed to have "orders from above" to seal up the premises of The Sun Publishing Limited.
At gunpoint, they ordered our security personnel to take them round the company premises, after which they proceeded to prevent staff from either entering or leaving the premises, and disrupted our circulation process.

Contrary to reports credited to Sahara reporters that former Governor Orji Kalu lied about his visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in London, a staunch loyalist of PMB and All Progressives Congress (APC ) stalwart in Bauchi State, Alhaji Kamal Bagudu has blasted people politicising the President's health status , noting that Kalu's visit to the President was in good faith and a demonstration of his loyalty and frienship to PMB . According to him, Kalu , who is also Mayaki Katsina, has been a good friend of PMB for many years.




He said, " the visit of Kalu to PMB should not be politicised and as such, I don't know why Sahara reporters is spreading falsehood that Kalu did not visit PMB.




"This is not the first time the former governor is visiting the President and it is not going to be the last. They both enjoy a robust relationship.




" Kalu has so much love for Buhari and he continues to wish him sound health and success in all his pursuits. "Those against Kalu's visit are bad and wicked people who are not wishing the President well.




" They are the ones spreading rumours also that the President is dead".




"Wicked souls", he declared.




The politician while commending the efforts of PMB in transforming Nigeria, called on the political class to play the game by the rules.

Tension is mounting among youths in Jiwa and Gwagwa communities in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) over the killing of a middle-aged man yesterday in Jiwa for urinating near a mosque, located in the community.
According to an eyewitness, the man, whose name was not immediately disclosed to newsmen, was passing through one of the streets in the village, and then decided to urinate in a drainage, close to a mosque.

However, just as he was doing that, a man who was sitting at the front of the mosque and watching him, picked a stone and threw at him.

Blueprint gathered that when the man had finished urinating, he picked the same stone and threw it back at the same man.

This action prompted some youths who were at the mosque to descend on him and gave him the beating of his life.

He was said to have fainted and was rushed to a private hospital in Gwagwa village, where he was pronounced dead by doctors in the hospital.

Our correspondent also gathered that it took the intervention of the divisional police officer (DPO), Gwagwa Police Station, and some other prominent persons in the two communities to stop the youth, who wanted to retaliate.

However, every effort to reach the FCT Police Public Relations officer (PPRO), Anjuguri Manza, for comments on the matter proved abortive.

Imagine for a moment that an enterprising young man from Aba had to apply for a visa to travel to Kano to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams, or that a young woman from Abeokuta had to fill immigration forms and await a verdict in order to attend her best friend’s wedding in Umuahia. Nigeria would be a much less colourful, much less interesting space, were that the case. Our frustrations with some who speak a different dialect or belong to a different religion must not drive us to forget many of the same tribe and faith of our adversaries who have shown true affection for us.
