The woman was abandoned by her husband when she was pregnant, Tonto Dikeh and her foundation came to her help, paid medical bills and have now visited the woman with lots of gift items and food.

"Early in the year the Tonto Dikeh foundation organized a medical outreach for the people of Dei-Dei community, Kubwa, Abuja Nigeria.
We had several medical cases we attended to through the registered Medical praticitions that we worked with.
Some special cases required us to extend a helping hand to further aid their medical treatment and upkeep.
Mrs Zainab Ayuba was one of such special cases we had.
When we met Mrs Zainab Ayuba she was 7months pregnant and as she claimed had not felt the movement of her baby in over 4days. Keep in mind that at that time she had been abandoned by her husband. Things couldn’t get any worse for her. Little did she know that her baby was not moving because she was in a coma.
As a mother I knew that was dangerous. In order to avert any further complications, We instantly took her to receive proper treatment and since then we are happy to have been responsible for her medical bills!
3days ago we got a call from Mrs Zainab Ayuba on the good news that she just had given birth to a bouncing baby girl named AMINA AYUBA.
We fulfilled our pledge and immediately sent someone from the foundation team to go and clear her bills.

Nigerian novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie appeared on “The Daily Show” with Trevor Noah on Wednesday, and she revealed she has trouble with men holding the door for women.

According to her, there are people who need that gesture/protection more, because there are lots of women who are stronger than men.

She also said she has issues with the idea of people saying women and children should leave first when there is a tragedy.

She said;

"I think holding the door shouldn't be gender, it's a lovely thing to hold the door, but we should hold the dorr for everyone. I hold the door for men and women.

For the first time in decades, Saudi Arabia has begun issuing driver's licenses to women as it prepares to lift its ban on female drivers on June 24.

The government released a statement saying that 10 women were issued the licenses on Monday. A flood of more applications is now expected.

"Expectations are that next week an additional 2,000 women will join the ranks of licensed drivers in the kingdom," the statement said.

However, this move is overshadowed by the arrest of a number of women who campaigned for the right to drive.

"It's absolutely welcomed that the authorities have begun issuing driving licenses to women," Samah Hadid, from Amnesty International, told the Los Angeles Times. "But unfortunately, this comes at a price where the very women who campaigned for the right to drive are behind bars instead of behind the wheel."

Saudi prosecutors have not publicly identified the women. However, state-backed media accused them of betraying the country.

The lift on the driving ban comes at a time when the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has pushed for efforts to modernize the country.

The Anambra State police command has arrested the man that stabbed his daughter to death in her sleep, last week, in Osikwu village Awgbu.

Oyinye Aguluka was only 24 hours away from becoming a wife when death struck her tragically. Oyinye was allegedly stabbed to death in bed by her own father in the early hours of Thursday.

The Nation reports that the suspect, Cletus Aguluka, 60, was arrested by members of the community’s vigilance group while trying to flee the village moments after committing the offence.

Giving an account of the incident, mother of the deceased, Georgina, said the suspect returned home late on Thursday looking drunk. He asked for his torch from his children, none of whom gave him a satisfactory answer about its whereabouts.

The household thought it was all over and everybody went to bed.

“We thought he had forgotten about the torch until he woke up around 1 o’clock in the night, went inside his room and brought out a machete and stabbed Onyinye who was fast asleep,” Georgina said.

The suspect’s younger brother, Sebastine Aguluka, said Cletus had lately indulged in molesting almost every member of the extended family.

Twin brothers of the deceased, Sochima and Chidera, said they had to leave home that night when they saw the way their father was behaving and they did not want to give him an excuse to molest them.

A Nigerian pastor, Michale Matthew has revealed she dumped her marriage after suffering several years of domestic violence.

"My personal experience with domestic violence and it’s abuse!

To the ladies out there, I have never spoken openly on social media about the abusive marriage that I was in for so many years primarily out of respect for my children but seeing the deaths on both the men and women’s side, am making an exception with the hope of encouraging someone who is in such a space. I pray my writing this will help some one take the decision to leave an abusive and violent marriage. I married as a church girl, young, innocent and shielded but entered a home that violence and abuse was the order of the day. Another days story.... but back to the point.

I know death to be terrible and so final and as such I pray women or sometimes even men have the courage to leave an abusive marriage. It took me over 13 years to gather the courage to finally close that door. I am a Pastor, I thought to myself. I am the last child of a large family. What will people say. She must have been the problem. I grew up a bit sheltered but I felt people will criticize me for not making it work, so I tried harder, served harder, it was met with more scorn and pain. Thank God for my family. Today the rest is history. I am happy, finding balance daily and grateful for friends and family who said it was okay to leave. It is never worth it to take a human life. I was so hurt by the meanness and violence and I was getting cowed so much so I contemplated hurting him if he ever laid hands on me and only grew angrier when he did and I did nothing but I knew I had to leave when I was grievously wounded a couple of times and found myself seeking ways to revenge but I did not want to die, I was given various forms of advice, some good and some absolutely devilish and I had many questions with no clear answers, who will take care of my children as well I would if I got harmed but I was despairing and still wanted to make the marriage work as a Senior Church Pastor concerned, lol! God doesn’t place those burdens on us, we do so with our people pleasing attitude and holier than thou behavior, please know two must make it work. It’s never one person’s responsibility. Thank God for my family again and good friends. Today the rest is history. It is never worth it to take a human life. I was so hurt and angry and to be frank it was so I did not harm him or by extension myself that I eventually left as I felt if he hit me again I could harm him but I did not want him to die or me too and hurting someone particularly when it is premeditated is purely evil. Eventually I gathered the courage and ran. I am so glad I did. If you are in that situation run. It’s never worth a human life. Every life matters.

Fast forward to some years later, I am glad I made this choice, I live with my truth and I pray that God helps him but I am free and getting healed emotionally. The fact that I can dare write this amazes me. I am quite private but I think our silence doesn’t help sometimes as people just need support when they are in such a place so it’s no longer about me but about helping others and in so doing I find my healing and more joy too.

Girl! You deserve better. Don’t allow society or your own fears hold you in bondage and fear. Every one is special. I survived and I thrive and you will."

Bella Naija founder, Uche Pedro and her husband, Bode Pedro, have finally shared photos of their twin children.

The couple who got married in 2012, welcomed their set of twins, a boy and a girl, in April 2015.

Bode shared this cute family photo on his Instagram page as he celebrates his birthday today May 29th. 

He wrote; "The biggest blessing God can give you is a happy and loving family. I’m thankful to have Uche and my adorable children by my side as I celebrate my birthday today."

Relationship expert, Amara Blessing Nwosu, has found a new man and reportedly got hitched to him recently, making him her third husband.

Although the name of the man is not known, Amara flaunted his picture on her Facebook page some hours ago.

She has however not come out to confirm her new status.

Last year, Amara shocked many after her marriage to her second husband, Van Lere crashed.

A few years ago, she revealed how she suffered terrible domestic violence in her 6-year marriage after she was given away at the tender age of 17 to a much older man. After leaving that marriage, she started to write articles on relationship and marriage on Facebook and helped other women going through what she went through.

Then in In 2014, she announced she was getting married again to a US based pastor named Francis Van-Lare and last year a photo showing her husband grabbing her boobs went viral on social media.

In August last year, she went on her Facebook page to announce that her marriage to Francis had packed up.

It appears she has found love again as photos of her and her new man dressed in what looked like a wedding attire has surfaced.

Popular singer, Daniel Anidugbe, formerly known as Kiss Daniel, has changed his name to Kizz Daniel.

The singer made this known in an Instagram post during the week.

He had put up a picture of the new name with the caption, “Moving forward. Call me Kizz Daniel.”

Shortly after Daniel made the post, several blogs reported that with the move, the singer was now free of all obligations to his former label, G-Worldwide Entertainment.

However, in a chat with Sunday Scoop, Daniel’s former manager, Louiza Williams, stated that the singer’s recent action had no effect on the court case.

“I actually did not know that he had changed his name until you told me. However, there is no big deal about that; it has nothing to do with the case,” said the musician’s ex-manager.

“The next court date is June 26. It is not true that the case has been settled; so, I don’t know where all those reports came from. If there was anything like that, I would be aware of it. Though Kizz Daniel doesn’t come to court personally, his lawyers appear on his behalf and I am sure they pass relevant information across to him accordingly. The court ruled that both parties should maintain the status quo, but Kizz Daniel is doing what is best known to him, which is contrary to what the court ordered.”

On what move G-Worldwide is considering, Williams said,

“The company definitely has a plan but I cannot reveal anything for now.”
