Ha ha ha, Okorocha the governor crazy over double lane roads. Okorocha no know say when many people are cursing you at a time because of your evil deeds, you go die kwick. |
tegak10:Depending upon the type of insect. If the insect has very hard cover, it is dangerous because it can travel to the brain cells before the body's defense mechanisms destroy it. Rush for help any nearest clinic if the disturbances are unbearable. |
emekz1:Boko Haram can never go until twelve northern Nigeria states renounce the sharia criminal codes the states adopted. Boko Haram fighting for a territory to be governed through Islamic sharia criminal codes. Northern Nigeria twelve states adopted Islamic sharia criminal codes. |
Any bombom or boobs in pix without the face of the owner, what can another person make out of the picture? Nothing. Just stare at the picture, nothing more. |
Long story for little. Don't send nude pix including your face. |
Firefire:A gift from northern Nigeria to visiting US Secretary of state, John Kerry. One Nigeria is a curse to black Africa. In every five black person on earth, one is from Nigeria. So long as Nigeria 's predominantly Islamic north is constrained to continue to share one country with predominantly Christian south, the black race shall continue to remain dismayed with shame. |
Chai, see what havoc the adoption of Islamic sharia criminal justice system by northern Nigeria's Muslim leaders beginning last dedade is still doing in northern Nigeria, and economically, to the whole of Nigeria. Boko Haram emerged after the twelve northern Nigeria states adopted the use of Islamic sharia criminal codes. Boko Haram says that it is fighting for a territory or country, perhaps Nigeria, to be governed through Islamic sharia criminal codes. RIP to the dead. This scene serves as warning to Nigerians from the South who still vouche for continuation of one Nigeria with the sharia states who have indirectry carved out a new country in the north where they can practice their religious faith without distraction. |
Pity Nigerians in the southsouth and southeast who still hold onto one Nigeria. Northern Nigeria adopted sharia criminal codes in its twelve northern Nigeria states. Islamic sharia criminal codes include death as punishment for speaking ill against their prophert and their Islam, death for adulterous women, cutting off fingers of petty thieves, Nigeeian constitution doesn't support use of Islamic sharia criminal codes for any part of Nigeria, the constitution permits Islamic sharia civil laws. In effect, the twelve sharia states have carved out a new country to enable its citizens practice their faith the way it suits them, but still attach to Nigeria for economic reasons and reasons of fighting and imposing Islam to other non-Muslim Nigerians. |
President Buhari and his sai Baba folks can't give a fcuckk over this, so long as proceeds from crude oil still comes into the federal purse to sustain the government. Economic growth and citizens welfare is irrelevant. |
TonyeBarcanista:One wonders what geopolitical zones in the south of Nigeria the at least, 65% of south political leaders shall come from; I mean the south political leaders you wish can champion a sustained agitation on the floor of the NASS, State Assemblies, Constitution Amendment, organised forums protests and boycotts, etc. in order to get Nigeria restructured the way you want it. If you followed events during OBJ's National Political Reforms Conference, and had seen the divisions between the SE/SS in one camp, the SW in its own camp and the north in its camp, you may not have hoped that there can ever come a moment when south leaders can mount any sustained pressure to restructure Nigeria politically or amend the constitution to effect the sort of political reforms the Nigerdelta clamours for. You're apt with your insistence that the struggles of the Nigerdelta people must be looked at beyond the inappropriate questions bordering on what the leaders of the Nigerdelta did with all the federal appropriations to the area, the 13% derivation, NDDC, Ministry of the Nigerdelta, the wealth some Niger Delta men acquired through militancy, etc, . You're right by insisting that as done in other normal federal countries, it is the areas where the mineral substances are founded that are supposed to agree with the federal government over the amount of tribute the local authority of the areas shall pay as tribute to the central government of the country. But who are the south leaders you expect to team up to organise the pressure on the rest of Nigeria to amend the constitution either in the NASS or in a National Conference, when you in particular don't seem to be keen to even enter into a conversation with people from the larger group nearest to the southsouth? Even the 13% from derivation paid to oil producing areas, did no one tell you that bigwigs from the southeast, including late Ikemba Ojukwu, did the leg works before the Supreme Court awarded 13% from derivation to oil-producing area? Finally, there are many leaders and wannabe opinion moulders from the southsouth who live comfortable or affluent life drawing some forms of wealth from Nigeria's political status quo, but once in a while, they mouth for restructuring Nigeria politically, mouth for resource control, true and fiscal federalism, etc. This set of people are most insincere and unrealistic as far as drive to ameliorate the burden of the Nigerdelta and its indigenes is concerned. You belong to the group above if you tell yourself that there shall come a time in the near future when south leaders can come together to pressure Nigeria to make constitutional amendments in the NASS, or in any National Conference, to bring about what Barcarnister asks for the southsouth from Nigeria. Or are you not aware of the lopsided political representation in all spheres of Nigeria 's political process tilting to the favour of northern Nigeria; the reopresentation advantage which north draws from the undue large number of states proliferated by northern soldiers in the former one region north of Nigeria? Nearly all the 19 states in the north profit from the political status quo; and they are most likely in any political reforms conference, or in the NASS, not vote to lose the political and economic advantages they now enjoy. So how else do we effect what you ask from Nigeria for the Nigerdelta area? |
Today's gross problems of south of Nigeria started when one northern region became ultimately divided into a whooping number of 19 states and Abuja, while the former two southern regions were given only 17 states. That is a huge fraud, because in federal countries, land mass is never used as criterion to carve new federal units like states or regions, or local government authorities. There ought to have been equal proportion of number of states between the north, east and west of Nigeria as the regions accepted independence on then representation proportions. But today, hrough the large number of states created in former northern region, the northern region now draws undue political over-representation in the National Assembly and in other political and economic processes of Nigeria. Thus, it became impossible to amend the vital sections of the constitution also supervised by Arewa military dictators. Impossible to amend the constitution to introduce true and fiscal federalism or regional government system because Arewa over-representation in any gathering of Nigerians with members equally drwan from the thirty six states shall stop the restructuring. Only three sets of people from south still ask for political restructuring: 1; those southern politicians who live comfortable lives from Nigeria's government and contracts, but who know full well that Arewa over-representation in the political process won't permit politically restructuring. 2; those who like to continue to mark time with Nigeria because there's nothing they can do about the dysfunctional government system and skewed political structure. |
He he hei, The APC Coalition must have fallen apart as southwest is back to the trenches again calling for restructuring to true federalism. True federalism? But now Arewa no go gree to lose the political and economic advantages Arewa won through the civil war victory, more so, now that Arewa controls the Central government. Another NADECO IN APC? Where Raji Fashola? I no hear him name here. Last one -and-half years when Fashola was Lagos governor and was planning APC win of presdential election for Buhari, OmoYibos were yelling for political restructuring to fiscal federalism. Fashola promptly replied OmoYibos that there was no need for political restructuring. Fashola said what was needed was only creation of new local government areas. Me I shouted : Oh Fashola, what an apolitical person, so this man doesn't understand that Nigeria's governance system with political structure rigged by Arewa military dictators favours only Arewa, and is a stumbling block to overall development in his Yorubaland? Tufiakwa!!!! When Punch carried out that blistering editorial against Buhari earlier this month, na him I take know say that the APC coalition don crumble - flat, flat. |
Does Buhari understand that red meat is fast falling out of fashion? Buhari advisers must know this. Does Buhari not know that pork is fast replacing beef in many parts of southern Nigeria? Buhari must know. But Buhari 's inner desire to export Islam with sharia criminal codes to all corners of Nigeria is behind Buhari 's obsession with expanding Jihadist Fulani cattle rearers to every corner of Nigeria through Cattle Grazing fields which many states don't want to host. Southern states must resist this Buhari's moves. |
greatgod2012:OBJ, a man who destroyed the political party through which he rode to power to become president. Only in Nigeria could a man like OBJ still thumbs his chest in public. |
kov624665:Yes, I was there live in Imo state when Buhari promised to make Naira equal to the dollar if voted in to become president of Nigeria. So you knew that Buhari was a liar? Or are you sure you are not one of those ethno/religious bigots who didn't even hear or knew what Buhari promised before they voted Buhari for president? |
ajeleseujn:Perhaps when Buhari finds oil in Benue and Borno basins, Naira shall be equal to dollar. |
But if one may ask: was Buhari on Owerri weed when he promised to make one Naira exchange for one Dollar if we voted him to become president of Nigeria? |
With people like OBJ, Buhari, Babangida and Abdusalam still influencing the direction of Nigeria's politics tremendously, is it not becoming a curse to be called a Nigerian? Anyway, that shoeless Jonathan landed us here by reversing sixteen years democracy gains when he jolly well chickened out and handed Nigeria back to military dictatorship because he felt that government house had been a cage for him for sixteen years. |
attackgat:1; Yoruba dominate well-paying oil jobs in Nigeria and don't want to give up. 2; Lots of the oil companies are headquartered in Lagos. 3; Refer to Osun state where a mini religious war is already raging among Yoruba Muslims, Christians and Atheists. Each of these groups were Islamic hijab, Christian choir robes and masquerade attires respectively to school. Deep division between Yoruba Muslims, Christians and Atheists is one of the reasons why Yoruba depend only on one Nigeria to save Yoruba people from possible religious wars. Since there seems to be more Muslims among Yorubas than Christians and Atheists put together , the Muslim Yoruba dominates the politics of Yorubaland. Thus the Christian political class in Yoruba land are often ridiculed by most Yoruba, more so, since the last sixteen years when the Muslim Yorubas have led the Yoruba in politics with increasing Islamization of Yoruba population, with result that Yoruba majority look forward to Sokoto for directions. |
TonyeBarcanista:Who created the political status quo? Hausa /Fulani loyal soldiers, not any political elite you referred to. Like the other guy trying to educate you rightly said, the same Hausa /Fulani regularly use the Nigerian Armed forces they dominate to fight any other Nigerian groups that resist the political status quo. By the way, have you ever heard of political pressure groups before? Those militants can be likened to a political pressure group. That they issue threats they do not fulfil is not too important. Important is they keep the Hausa /Fulani who have resisted your restructuring demand in check. It's like you are waiting for Godot as you wait for the day Hausa /Fulani can agree to sign up for your much-vaunted political restructuring demand for which has been made for more than fifteen years. Is it not sort of being politically naive to expect Hausa /Fulani to yield to political restructuring, the type that may result to addressing the marginalisation you referenced to in the Nigerdelta region? They won thei political and economic advantages they enjoy through victory in the civil war. Whoever is it that gives up advantages won through battle on a round table talk? Or don't you see them protest over the 13% from derivation paid to oil producing areas? |
JohnsonOlanre:Confusion as was before 101BC. |
TonyeBarcanista:TonyeBarcanister, Only means of achieving whatever your struggle in the Nigerdelta is: join Nigeria Armed forces, overthrow whatever government in power, reorganize Nigeria to a form of governing structure to redress whatever marginalization against the Nigerdelta. Not doing that, you're merely marking time, perhaps living opulent life style like many of the leaders of the Nigerdelta in Abuja. |
thedarkside:"Shophosfischicated" ODUA fellow, no matter how high you hang that Nigeria flag, the fact remains that you don't understand that wan Naija is a huge stumbling block against development of your ODUA region. The smell of cheap cash from crude oil in the Nigerdelta has done havoc in your side. Even Arewa has drawn up its sharia country to be governed through Islamic sharia criminal codes, while you de here de hang Nigeria flag high in your ODUA side. |
Horsesmouth:ODUA man, continue to take yourself round and round. Who do you think cares about where you come from? Where you come from can't change what is already there - one Nigeria your feeding bottle has failed most of the people it was created for by Oyiboman with his girlfriend. |
LordVarys:Justice Okon Abang is a VAMPIRE. Abang needed blood of Abia electorate to suck to be promoted, but Abians were smatter than Abang. Watch closely, Abang must be a tax dodger. |
GoggleB:That the government of Imo state even issued this statement implies that Okorocha has started seeing ghosts,. The governor who is said to be using his office to inflict painful injuries to his subjects, beginning from his home constituency to now all over his state. If there are other govs like this man, they must continue to see the ghosts of those they injured till they die, caput |
Most foolish comments AtoZ I bet my last card you are not from where you said you come from. Lagos is a jungle where normal rich people won't live. Rich Nigerians go to Abuja or Kaduna for northerners, and Portharcout and Enugu for easterners. |
What can Obasanjo deliver to the PDP again? Does Obasanjo believe that he is going to live for donkey years? |
Has Ethiopian airlines stopped flying to Enugu? When? Trying to check-in online with ethiopianairlines to enugu. Can anyone help with information? |
Kai, SW region was until last year the quiet region of Nigeria. Some Yoruba took Nigeria like God's own country - indivisible. Now from Aregbe religious conflict in Osun to Lagos militants /cult wars, in Lagos /Ogun states, where them.? |
kogistar:Lol. Do you even know what's freedom in Nigeria.? Millions of people in Nigeria cannot see watery beans to grub. Have you ever gone out to see what a free country with food for its citizens looks like? Nigeria failed woefully,, but laziness cannot allow some groups in Nigeria forget crude oil in the east, hence these foolish blackmails against Kalu and his secessioinst groups. |
thedarkside:If you can be sincere to yourself for a minute. If not for crude oil deposits, you don't need the old southeast region for anything. If not for crude oil deposits, you could not have been here writing all these childish blackmail against secessioinsts. You are Yoruba, if Arewa north of Nigeria decides today to secede from Nigeria, you shall sing Hallaluia., let Arewa go. |
