You can ask for student copy, in my school there is student and official copy. The official copy can only be sent, sealed to the other school or corporation requesting for it. The student copy can be given to the student

I have you see or attend any Union Bank sponsored program, seen Union Bank advert, etc., all these are products of the department. You are to make people "fall in love" with the name Union Bank. I think there is a video to watch as you applied for this MT, that's one of the work of that department. Many people who watch the video would have said "wow Union Bank.....let me join their workforce or let me give them a try (in terms of doing business)".

It depends on the department you request/qualify for especially if it's funds transfer, IT, Treasury, IC&A, CRMG etc

If you want cash and teller, customer service, retail marketing etc, it's four interviews usually done on the same day.

If they didn't ask you to wait behind after you finished writing your test, my dear move on - the results usually come out immediately. But sometimes due to one or two factors, the people chosen may not meet with other set criteria during the interviews, may get a better offer from another company, or may even lose interest. In that case they may start to contact those that didn't meet the cut-off but were close.


I am not in HR so I'm not a 100% sure of this but from going through this process myself, that is what I have come to deduce.

Once you receive invitation for Training School, you are considered to be a Staff in Training, I mean you are already a staff. The two major criterias for successful Training School is Good conduct (behaviour) and having up to 80% average scores in all test conducted for you after each course.

On pay, for the 9-week duration for the TS, you will be paid between N150-N200k in two tranches. After Training School, you will graduate from Staff-in-Training to Unconfirmed Staff (staff under probation) with monthly take home of at least N200k. After 1 year of probation, you will be confirmed, then your monthly pay will drop to about N160k. The difference will be paid to you yearly as upfront.

On promotion, hmmm... we have same scenario playing across banks. I know people who have not been promoted for over 7 years in the bank while I know a lot of people people who are promoted within a year of joining the bank. To be honest, majority of last two year management trainee were promoted this year, that is just a year after their confirmation as permanent staff. So, the issue of you getting promotion will be based on your performance, the department you are working with and your direct line manager (boss).

UBN training school starts February yearly. Between now and then, I'm sure you'll be able to make a final decision.
