I don't usually say this but I am more intelligent than u are in all ramification...

A simple question that can prove how smart you claimed to be, u cannot answer it...

This is the last time I will be quoting a foolish individual like u... I can't stoop to your level.. I can't afford such luxury... U can have the Last words if u like.. enjoy the rest of your miserable life angry..

When you cannot defend your knowledge, you stoop to insults. No wonder you are the way you are cheesy

My boss was from England... I have helped him spell two or more times when he wasn't with his laptop ... I don't even know what people think English language was... Just one out of many official languages spoken on this planet...

Let's excuse your boss not being from England anymore which changes nothing because it's grammatically incorrect

Some feels that once u speak fluently or type nicely, that was intelligence...Was that mindset not Inferiority complex at it's best...

How is this statement grammatically correct?

The Japanese or Chinese who were doing so well around the world can hardly speak English...

Or this? smh

So if I understand you correctly, if someone visits your home by 2:00 pm for example and leaves by 3:00pm, and someone inquires about that person, U will say to the person 'he is here' correct? U will not use was so that it won't look like he/ she has died is that right?

This is why your English is bad and it reflects on your intelligence quotient, sadly. How in the name of sweet baby Jesus are we talking about the same thing?

Yes he was from England... Now an Australian citizen... Ask questions without attitude next time thanks..

It doesn't matter, he's still alive, you should not be using past tense with him same with the Japanese and Chinese in your write-up.

Is that why you're deliberately using past tense for people who are still alive? undecided

UK would have been a really good option with how their process seems seamless and the kind of money you have plus factors like language and settling in for your family but Sweden is not a bad country
Travel / Re: Are Nigerians In Abroad Lonely And Depressed? by Amanee(f): 3:21pm On Feb 17, 2022
Been in Europe for almost a year and never felt depressed about living alone. Maybe it's because I mix up with people and find ways to keep myself busy. I can't say the same for Nigerians who travel out and suddenly decide to stop associating with fellow Nigerians for one reason or the other.

My social calendar is always full because I actually have a life over here and I don't see myself returning to Nigeria in a very long time.

Travel / Re: Nigerians That Left Ukraine, Do You Regret It??? by Amanee(f): 3:11pm On Feb 17, 2022
You should try to go to better countries from Ukraine instead of going back to Nigeria. Some countries are meant to be a spring board instead of a final destination but the problem is, people like you op, act like you've arrived instead of laying low and finding out other means to move to better countries from there. That's most likely the reason why you are afraid of what people will say if you go back to Nigeria

I beg to disagree bro.

While it's good to plan to pay your one year tuition fee and cost of living (which is what is expected from you in the first place) there is also the chance of getting good jobs in Poland while studying. From my own experience, I am studying tuition free and I arrived Poland with almost 18 months experience in the financial sector. Within two months of my arrival, I got a job with a good company in the same financial sector and it's going to be very hard for me to leave here after my studies because I don't see what I can get in other countries that I'm not getting in Poland. I have friends who are students as well working in IT, banking, education etc in some kind of companies that you can only fantasize about getting a job in, in countries like the UK. My story is different from yours because I had a plan and I did my research well. No country is heaven, if you do not have a plan, you will go there and suffer as well.

Escanor:
In poland you cannot work and pay your tuition fee here.there are two things involved.its either you study or you work.and the money you work is just for rent bills food.dont let anybody deceive you with pictures and good talks..some will tell you that you can apply to IT jobs and get big salary.but the probability is like getting an oil and gas job in nigeria. You know how it is.the reason people are silent here is the fact that they are already in a messed up situation and as such, they are looking for a woman to marry or other countries to go and study and make money.poland is just like Ukraine.but they are just opportuned to be in Schengen and EU.the way people are dying to leave nigeria, that's the way all blacks are dying to leave poland.so be careful.so for those who will be paying thier bills for them selves and sponsoring themselves, and still want to come to poland don't expect anything big.just be ready to face hell and overcome.or just see poland as a route to other better EU country where you can make lots of money and stand as a pillar in your family.i am not talking to those who are spoonfed.we know ourselves here.thank you

Getting a masters in Nigeria is a no-no for me. The system is too crooked and most people have spent years on a course that should ideally take less time. If you're trying to get one to get a better job in Nigeria, I'd advise you not to waste your resources. It will not be worth it in the end.
Romance / Re: I'm Deeply In Love With Him But He's Not Divorced Yet! by Amanee(f): 3:33pm On Jan 25, 2022
You shouldn't even be friends with him in my opinion, what happened to single guys without such complications? How are you going to be sure he's the one for you if you're both occupied with him getting a divorce. My mother will always say, meat wey you no wan chop no use your teeth cut am. A word is enough for the wise sha

Rita005:
There's no gold digging anywhere as I'm doing well for myself. I earn over 200k monthly and I'm on track in my career path. I also have older siblings that send me as much as my salary every month. I am not in anyway a girl that falls for money.
As a lady, if you meet a man that's smart and ambitious, it is almost normal to like him. The question I raised on this thread was about my concern about his marital status but unfortunately, you guys took it to a different level. I understand you guys don't want me to become a prey but it seems an average Nigerian has a messed up mentality. I don't blame us because it's what we grew up into.
Anyways, he has initiated the divorce process and it's on. Since he noticed I'm skeptical about the whole thing, he suggests we should just be friends until he gets the divorce.
Thanks to you all that adviced on the divorce issue. To those who were concerned about him being a scam, thanks to you too lol.

Okay, but you are still missing my initial point. Anyways bye.

Your initial point does not hold water that's why I said you should go and read up. The schools in UK accept payment in instalments and you're allowed to work as a student.

Okay, my question is just the comparison of the investment vs the rewards in moving to the UK. From what I see, it's either you get a job direct like Nurses or you go by school. And school is like 11k to 15k pounds just for tuition only. Except you are on scholarship. That money is too much to spend compared to Express entry.

Let's not derail the thread, you can read up the process of other countries on their respective threads.

But then are you not wasting money?

Do you know how much money is going to be wasted alone in moving to the UK, a country where nothing is guaranteed.

Unless you are a Nurse, stay in Nigeria and save your money.

Will you go to the UK and fold your hands like you've arrived? I'm earning way above what I was earning in Nigeria where I'm currently at and the best thing, it's not in naira

Thanks. I understand you perfectly, but I just don't want a situation whereby he would be fed up helping me at dome point if it didn't work out. I just want ease for him so that I can make my own money. I understand abroad might not be in my destiny, but there's an opportunity which he could use for me right now but he couldn't coz of his pride. And he already said something like : This is my money and I worked for it"
As if I asked him to split the money with me into halves.

You're in your 30s with no known corporate world, healthcare or IT experience (those are the kind of jobs that pay well overseas). Even trying for a study visa will still come with the challenge of keeping up with your studies. It will be better for you to find a viable business in Nigeria to build within the next 3-5 years. When you go abroad, you'll spend a lot on trying to settle down within the first one year and if you're looking for how to stop relying on your brother, that will not be a good option. Money does not grow on trees abroad.
