Okerrionome94: Thank u so much. U have been really helpful. Having cold feet but your replies are making me more confident. One last question for now: did u have to present your legalized documents at the embassy wen applying for visa? Or the legalization is just for the school only You're welcome Legalization is for the school. Embassy just helps you legalize the certificates after you've booked your appointment |

Okerrionome94: Guys please do I have to legalize the letter proving that I studied in English and my eligibility letter? Because the only letter I am instructed on my profile to legalize is my waec. No you don't Legalize your WAEC alone |

Okerrionome94: Few questions: * please throw more light on the cover letter * you applied three times in three months, how did u do it because I have read on this three that booking an appointment is really crazy at the popish embassy *how did you notarize your sponsor letter? Did he just sign on it or you took it somewhere else to sign/notarize? * how much did the allianz insurance cost? * does this mean having a payslip is more valid than having an account statement? 1) Already answered 2) I called the embassy like everyone else the first and third time. Second time was an appeal, you don't need to call for that. Just submit your appeal documents within 14 days after refusal 3) Go to any notary public they will do that. Sponsor signed on the sponsor letter tho 4) Almost 27k 5) You cannot use an account statement to apply for visa. For now most people use payslips or credit card certificate |

Pvtpisful: How did you make accommodation reservations at bookings.com for one year. I have been trying to make reservations but I can only reserve 30 nights maximum Reserve the 30 nights for 12 months consecutively ie after reserving 30 nights for January, reserve for February, March till you reserve for January the next year. Go for hostels that have the free cancellation option and free reservation |

Okerrionome94: Please explain more on the cover letter A cover letter basically states your intentions for your studies in Poland. Why you chose the course, the school and the country. It will help the visa officer form a better opinion of you but it is not compulsory. Lots of people got their visas without a cover letter. For cover letter samples, go online |

I just want to share this to encourage someone to not give up. I applied for Sustainable Development at the University of Warsaw, (MSc) (more of how I applied for this tuition free course in here https://www.nairaland.com/2272115/polish-student-visa/103#93008393 ) and started classes online since October. Applied for visa in November, got denied. Appealed and still got denied. The first reason for my denial was number 9 then and it had to do with my accommodation and unsigned sponsor's letter. The second reason for my denial was that the school accommodation they gave me was not up to one year. I applied afresh on February 3rd and got visa on March 9th.
Key takeaways of what I did differently: -I submitted a cover letter -I used booking.com to reserve one full year accommodation -I prayed
From my little experience, it is not only by what you submit, it is also by grace and favour. Also it's good to ask questions and join forces with like-minded people that will support and encourage you. I had a lot of them in my corner and to God be the glory, it ended in praise.
Full list of documents submitted:
Cover letter
Financial documents -Recent 3months 550k+ payslip of my uncle (not same surname) Not signed or notarised -Photocopy of sponsor work ID card -Certificate of employment (signed by sponsor who is the CEO and head of HR) -Notarised letter of sponsorship
Academic documents -Admission letter -Zaswiaczdenie (acceptance document)
Accommodation -12 months reservation on booking.com (I didn't pay)
Flight itinerary (booked on Lufthansa free of charge)
Insurance from Allianz (1 year two weeks)
Application form (duly signed)
International passport
Visa fees 80 euros
Passport picture If you have questions please ask on the thread and I'll respond I hope this helps |

Vlibray: No interview Yes there is a small Q&A these days but it is basically pertaining to things about the document you submitted like sponsor's name, your purpose of going to Poland, how much your sponsor is earning etc |

Angelfrost: Yeah... Can't be my fault that you don't get banter, or even know the essence of using quotation marks around a word.
If words offend you so easily, then you might need to avoid football threads in the future.
So, just breathe before you spike your B.P for no reason! Haba!!! Did I start following football threads today? Tell me another story There's nothing pyrrhic about the victory (and I mean this in the form the phrase is meant to be used not that Man U's performance was spectacular or something) |

Angelfrost: I am quite sure I have never supported Chelsea in my sweet earthly existence so far...
Congrats to United fans for securing this "pyrrhic' victory, and slightly (almost insignificantly) slowing Pep's march to glory!!!
Fergie001, Kyase, Xynerise, Lamasta, Fuckingmallam45, Redblood01, Ray07 Sometimes it's better to keep quiet than show your ignorance, Manchester United's win is not a pyrrhic victory, go and look up the meaning of that phrase before you use it. Ciao! |

alphawolf12345: So I talked to to my sponsor, he'sactually the CEO of my company, he said he doesn't pay himself and it means he doesn't have a payslip. But he said he can create one for me and notarized it. But the issue now is the money stated on the slip wouldn't be in his bank record. Is that a problem ?
Also, I thought about the credit card route, can he create a credit card in his name and give me the certificate? How much limit must it have?
Thank you.
Hoping to hear from you. The credit card would be better, the amount depends on the city you want to go to. Expensive cities like Warsaw, Krakow etc the limit should be about 3-4m. |
