Hello everyone I'm not sure if this is the right thread I had my daughter in the US, and I'm trying to get her a nigerian passport in the US. I understand she needs NIN first. Does anyone know what the process is like and the requirements since she doesn't have a nigerian birth certificate? Google isn't helping. I'll appreciate all the help i can get. |

Yea, you can't apply for a non-immigrant visa with a pending immigrant visa application in process, that's dual intent. If you apply a hundred times, they will deny you a thousand times. Just wait for your spousal visa approval. Sorry johnjunior39: I did my interview on 22/11/2024.
Interviewer was just interested in marriage issue ; you are married sir? Do you jave kids ?
Then she asked me what am I going to the US to do and how long do I intense to stay.
After all the questions, aunty told me there is an open visa application with my documents (spousal visa actually ) till I get a response nothing the can do.
Lol |

Take your prescription along just in case, you might be randomly selected for a baggage check, they would need to know what the drugs are for, it's not going to stop your entry into the US. Muyideenwriter: hello guys, I got my visa approved around June and will be leaving for the united states around mid-August. I have a medical problem, I am an hypertension patient and have been placed on hypertension-controlled medications. the medication is a lot and I am planning on taking medication that will last me for three months. The fear I have is the scrutiny and the questions I will face at the point of entry and how to answer questions bothering the medication at the point of entry. Moreover, I will like to know if anyone has been in this situation before and how best were able to maneuver this situation at the point of entry and at the united states since I need to see a physician in the united states and I was told insurance is not cheap. |

Use your school address as your landing address o, don't complicate things. Also, she's your sis in law and not an immediate sibling or parent, you don't need to include her in your form. Win121: Hello house,
I have been following this thread for a while now and have learnt a lot thanks to you guys who keep answering questions and giving your bright ideas.
Pls I have a serious concern. My sister Inlaw is in USA on F1 visa last year meant to finish this year and my sponsor is her husband whom is my brother, also I put her US address as my landing address when I enter USA. Now I have two concerns:
1). Since her husband is my Sponsor, should I declare that I have a relation in USA on my DS 160 form or not??
2). Will my sponsor or the address info link me to her and show the VO that I actually have a relation in the USA if I say no(cos that’s what I really want to do)?? I appreciate your responses 🙏🏾 |

Whatever you decide, have it at the back of your mind that you cannot study and hustle in SA, the most you will get as a student if you're lucky is being a tutor/research assistant and you'll only get stipends that will get you by. School fees is cheap here compared with other foreign countries, but if you're looking to hustle, focus on UK, Canada and US. And no, you can't get a study visa and boycott schooling, wahala for you if you're found out. Your school is mandated to report back to immigration if you don't register when you're supposed to. olawumi171: Gudday Nairalanders, am a total novice to this travelling stuff,av been reading from page 1 actually, but pls l need 2022 info,l will be rounding up my NYSC by April, but wanna start SA processing, for work and study visa. Pls l need d cheapest university in term of school fees.av checked Google though with some schools at mind but l still wanna hear from nairalanders. And is it possible for me to study and work at the same,as in to work and be paying for my skul fees. And for my SAQA registration can l only upload transcript and not certificate for it wont be ready in d next a yr. And as a lady can l survive in that country on my own. Though my hope was to hustle dei without study, but l was told to go for study visa dat once l get dei,l can boycott skuling and get something doing, pls ow true is dat Also pls for those who are already in south Africa, ow much will it cost me for everything. THANKS |

You are blessed Somandla: The empty arrogance of most Nigerians beats me. As a professional who has lived in SA for 22 years, I have seen over the years how the reputation of Nigeria has gone down, thanks to the unending fraudulent activities of a lot of Nigerians. Drugs, internet fraud, and fraud in general. In SA, senegalese people own shops and boutiques, I know Ghanian people who own good businesses. Manufacturing of products that occupy the shelves of chain stores. I have lots of friends who are building contractors and still continue to make good money doing clean legit businesses. Not to talk of lawyers, accountants, doctors etc. The issue is that the Nigerians who do clean businesses and ply their profession are in the very very minority. I as a Nigerian get panic attacks going into johannesburg cbd. If those Nigerians all over hillbrow are what Nigerians are made of, then I think South Africans are actually very patient. Why do Nigerians find it soooo difficult to be part of a progressive society. And please if you think white in SA like Nigerians, then you need a reality check. Whites are not willing to participate in addressing past injustices that the apartheid government did. They would make friends with anyone who speaks evil of the locals. Whites are hardly your friend...wake up! Their distaste for you might be subtle..but don't get it twisted....who are you If you are from Ghana, your SA visa application can be done online and an approval sent to you online, if you are from Benin republic, you do not need a visa to get into SA and I am sure it's like that with so many other African countries. Instead of us introspecting, we cry foul...talk of jealousy...call indigenous people lazy...yet the evil that we do live with and after us. Nigerians...., start by changing your orientation, to by pass the laws of a land and undermine it, is not smartness. To go to people's country and become human traffickers, drug dealers and internet fraudsters is not hardwork. It's destroying those countries and creating problems for other well meaning Nigerians who want to migrate and be a progressive part of other societies and those who want to genuinely visit and explore other countries. South Africa has its own problems...and has the citizens fight to rescue their country from high crime rate, employment and greedy politicians, Nigerians should not further burden their system or make the hurdle harder . Dubai is an example... people would take steps to preserve their country.. African brotherhood should not destroy, it should build. |

There's a white-only university in SA? And you, a black man studied there? What is the name of this University please? Johncables402: I studied there in the white only university, they only allow hardworking foreigners there not lazy Zulus . Those people are very wicked. Imagine hating us because we are more intelligent and hardworking than them ? Very stupid. |
