Politics / Re: BREAKING: FG Summons South Africa High Commissioner Over Xenophobic Attacks by amb962(m): 10:40am On Sep 03, 2019
Pojomojo:

I lived in SA for sometime and I can say a thing or two about them.

An average South African male is an illiterate and hate Nigerians passionately. Allow a South African male to choose between Satan and a Nigerian, he will chose Satan without regret. 1/

This hatred is nothing else but for economic reasons. An average South African male till this day doesn't understand how a Nigerian will come to SA and in months, he is already working and in few years setting up businesses while himself is struggling to make ends meet. For him, it is unacceptable. Nigerians must be using some kind of voodoo one South African told me at retail park in waterkloof. Nigerians drive the finest cars and above all f**ks the most beautiful of SA girls. To him, this cannot continue and it must be stopped.

By our nature as Nigerians, we are loud and determined and most times South Africans interpret this as domineering. Nigerians are taking away our businesses and our women you would here. For them, this African Brothers must be stopped by all means. We must send Nigerians away. An average South African black male is jobless, depraved, a drunk and hopeless. He is entrench in crime and have no problem raping his sister, mother and grandmother. This is a regular occurrence in South Africa. So, taking the lives of Nigerians means nothing to him.

Hand an average South African black male the shops he is looting to run, he will sell and use the proceeds to drink alcohol and buy drugs. Don't get me wrong, their are good South African black males, but they are the educated ones and are in the minority. I have seen people talk about Nigerians leaving SA. Lets be clear, it will not happen. Do you know how many Nigerian businesses are in Johannesburg? Do you know how many Nigerian run hospitals are in Pretoria? Do you know how many Nigerian run saloons, car shops are in SA?

Nigeria and South Africa cannot be separated no matter how hard we try. The bond btw both countries is deeper than what we see in the surface. Aside businesses and historical alliances, thousands of Nigerians are married to South Africans. No one can break this alliance.

Lets be clear also. Too many Nigerians are doing crime in South Africa. This crime ranges from online fraud to hired assassins. You cannot enter a country and then constitute nuisance. In Johannesburg, too many Nigerians are into drugs and online fraud. This people are giving

You cannot go to another mans country and misbehave. Many Nigerians are into illegal activities in that country. when you commit your crime and make your money, you should lay low and be discrete about your life style, no you still have the effrontery to flaunt your ill gotten wealth, marry their women and call them lazy. no man will take that from you. they have accommodated us enough.

Burshh:
You obviously have something against the bank. Fraud will always be around banks as long as banks remain to be about money. Do not make this about a bank,Perpetration of fraud happen around all banks. .... To think Taint bad Union with these few examples belittles your analytical capacity.

I concur with your above submission. The guy has some things to grind out with Union Bank.

There was a fraud in one particular top three bank few years ago. it shook them to their roots that the retired owner MD did everything possible to make it not get to the media. There are also other cases that happened that he is not aware of.

Wealthy Russian model Daria Radionova turned heads over the weekend when she showed up in her modified matte-black Lamborghini Aventador at a supercar rally in London.

The Italian supercar – which has a top speed of 217mph and will do a zero to 60mph in 2.4sec – was coated with more than two million Swarovski crystals embedded on its body, roof and even front grill.

CAN I WASH THE CAR WITH OMO AND WATER

The 24-year-old model told her 113,000 Instagram followers that it took London auto customisers CarsinCloaks more than 700 hours to install the man-made gems by hand.

The supercar also has personalised licence plates – DAR 11A – to make sure other drivers know who’s behind the wheel.

The Lamborghini Aventador is not the only car in her fleet that has received this stunning modifications.

Last year, she stunned pedestrians when she drove her £150,000 Lamborghini Huracan covered in 1.3 million crystals down Oxford Street.

The Huracan featured her trademark “BA11 BYY” number plate which previously appeared on her pimped out velvet Bentley Continental GT. She is has a Mercedes-Benz CLS that is covered in 1 million Swarovski Crystals.

For some time now, i noticed that during motion, when i try to increase the speed of the car, it makes this noise like when you are revving the engine but the will not move according to the speed required. but suddenly it will jerk and increase speed. This has being on and off for a while now. i cant go above 70 cos each time you try doing above 70, it jerks violently.

Please i need advise on what to do and names or number of garages that can fix the problem.

okay its the nigerian Mobil 1, i thought it was the US advanced full synthetic mobil 1, its far better than the one sold at mobil filling stations, i bought 20k last month, 5 US quarts which is about 4.7litre

But its still not the recommended 5W20. do you have an idea where and how much i can get it.

Actually I use 05 pilot and the manual says when the car is used for traveling then u don't need to change the oil often, just normal maintenance. But if what u do most is short distance, stop and go traffic, driving in dusty environ then follow severe maintenance schedule which is when u will change ur oil more often. So bro the more u travel with the car the longer the time u need to change the oil.
.

Thank you for the comment. i actually drive everyday in traffic(Lagos island, Okota, Festac) and dusty roads(untarred roads). This is actually the first service i have done since i bought the car. do i need to service it now before i travel to the east with it next week. your kind response will be appreciated.

Over the weekend, the maintenance required light & temperature light came up on my dashboard. what can i do to rectify this.

Oga where you see mobil 1 for that price? Abi na Mobil 1 for mobile filling stations?

i don't know what you mean. I bought the oil at Mobil Station in Amuwo Odofin. The 5litre gallon was N13,000 and 1litre was N3,600. That was way back in March 2017. How much is it supposed to be.
Car Talk / Re: How Much Do You Spend On Your Car's Scheduled Maintenance? by amb962(m): 8:39am On Jun 01, 2017
Car Model: Honda Pilot 2004 V6 3.5 litre engine
Service interval:
Engine oil used: Mobil 1 5W30
Quantity: 6 litres (N16,600)
Cost of oil filter: N1,800 (can't remember exact amount)

Bought my car in March 2017 and did the servicing immediately. Manufacturers approved oil is 5W20 but its not available in Nigeria. my mechanic says i will do the maintenance again in October after 6months. He says i will only have to service it again if i travel on a very long distance i.e east and back to Lagos.

Let her report herself to relevant authorities e.g her family, police, church, mosque before anything happens to her. Heard about a woman in same position few years back. The husband did not do anything to her after catching her Live and direct in the act,but kept quiet. They lived their lives as usual without no incidence or quarrel. The children were unaware of any issue between their parents. After few months of the man keeping quite, the woman could not bear it again and had to report herself to the family and church.

So let this woman do same before her head goes missing.
Properties / Re: Landlord Tests Lagos Tenancy Law, Ejects 18 Tenants by amb962(m): 2:06pm On Oct 11, 2014
In as much as the landlord in the story did not follow the due procedure of the law, we have some people as tenants that are just wicked. They will refuse to pay any bill due to them; e.g Nepa bill,Security fee, Cleaning of the environment etc. You find out that they are the most troublesome and their wives/husbands make nuisance of themselves.

I know of some one that bought a house with sitting tenants whose rents are still running. He waited for their rents to expire and gave them another year and half to look for alternative apartment. Funny enough, some of them came to him that they do not have the means to get another apartment and he gave them money to move. When the the expiration time came for them to move, another round of story began again that they don't have money or the are yet to secure an apartment. The landlord started pleading with them to move but it all fell on deaf ears.

The landlord had to resort to Lagos style. he came one morning to the house around 4am in the morning and started removing the roofs, doors and windows from every apartment, he broke the toilet and Suckaway pit, locked the well in the compound, dismantled the gate and cut off electricity from Nepa poll. That same day no single soul remained in that premises.

Its only when you are in the shoes of the landlord that you know what they pass through in the hands of their tenants.

Business / Re: A Car Or A Plot Of Land by amb962(m): 2:01pm On Apr 24, 2007
my broda,

in this country now that things are so hard and difficult, car do not bring in income and it is not an investment, buying a car will do you no good at all. instead it will create a big hole in ur pocket.though buying a car should not be seen as a luxury but rather a neccessity. we all know the the kind of embarrassement we go through from our so called landlords and agents. so it is better you suffer and buy a land now and build ur own house, than enjoy being called a car owner now and suffer harrassment from ur landlord and his agent later. cry
