why not look for a church that suits your style. There are so many denominations out there that will not drain your pocket, and take u for who you are. Beside worship, which is the aim of the church, my church seeks to improve members standard of living as well. A family church that I always looks forward to attending everytime where EVERYBODY IS SOMEBODY.

What is the name of your Church and its location, please?

Over the last 4 years through the C.I.T.Y program, H.O.P.E has engaged over 1,300 volunteers and a good number of corporate partners to reach over 7,500 Leaders (teenagers) across Nigeria at no cost to the teenagers.

In 2015 the C.I.T.Y Summer Leadership School hosted over 450 teenagers in four locations across Nigeria; Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, and Ota (Ogun State), engaging over 250 volunteers. The camps were running simultaneously in all four locations.

hello my great brothers and sisters, i want you all to help me and advice me about any profitable business i can run online or business that won't require much of my presence here in nigeria. i work 8hours everyday from Monday to Friday so i need a business that i can run which does not require much of my presence. thanks ...

From your profile, I believe you reside in Aba, Abia State. One viable business I'll advice you venture is Restaurant and Bar. Bar is sought after in Aba. Remember, it is what goes into a man's stomach that sells. For the bar, you'll sell beer alongside pepper soup with goat meat, turkey or catfish. You can also include fried meat sauce and barbeque (suya) to it. For the Restaurant, you can sell fried rice, jollof rice, swallow like eba, akpu and variety of soup etc In front of it, some staff can sell hot puff puff, beans and akamu, indomie and egg or bread. The profit is daily. All you need is a reliable and competent manager, who in turn reports to you. Location also matters. It must be located in a busy and serene environment. You can request for WhatsApp number if you help on management, tutoring and consulting. I wish you success!

I feel like sharing my burdens here in other to seek a solution,to cut the long scenerio short, i am a graduate of inter rel, and i have been going through alot of difficulties financially. I have seeked almost everywhere for jobs but yet it isnt finding me. This made me made up my mind in paving a solution to my problem by starting my own business, My parents are willing to support me with some capital,500k naira, but i am very confuse on what sort of business to venture into that will pave my ways. I see Nairaland as an avenue were nigerians can SHARE,LEARN and GROW. Pls nairalanders, help me out with some business options and plans.I will be most grateful if i can get wonderful contributions here.
NOTE: i would'nt be interested in an ONLINE/NETWORKING business, i need a physical business plan

MOD'S : Please help a brother and save my life by pushing to front page

If you're based in Lagos, Restaurant and Bar with Chops could be best. This days, it is what goes into man's stomach that sells. All you need is get a reliable and competent manager who in turn will supervise the cook and sellers while you serve as Managing Director/CEO. Profit is daily. Location also matters. In front of the restaurant, some staff could be incharge of chops like Hot Puff-Puff, Indomie, Egg and Bread while inside the Restaurant, they will be selling Fried rice, Jollof, Swallow etc. If you what a private tutoring, planning and management, you can request for my WhatsApp number. But know that, it is what goes in a man's stomach that will move market and bring in return. For the bar, you'll sell beer plus pepper soup with goat meat or catfish or turkey. It is very profitable. Wish you success!

Politics / Re: Lawyer To Drag Buhari To Court For Dropping General Title From Name by Ambassador1991(m): 9:33pm On May 19, 2015
ednoville:
Dear President Muhammad buhari(elect),
My name is Edwin Obaje and today 19th of may, I’m a year older, I hope you wish me a happy birthday when and if this letter gets to you, it’s my heartfelt desire that you get to read it. Also, your acknowledgement of the receipt of this letter and promise to take immediate action when you get to office as it concerns the content of this letter will be a wonderful birthday gift to me which I’ll cherish for a life time.
As a child right activist, I’ve been personally monitoring events around the country as they affect the total well being of the Nigerian child but none has burdened my heart like that of the recurring sad stories of children being infected and dying from lead poisoning. First, in Zamfara state and now in Niger state. Just recently 28 children have died from lead poisoning from illegal gold mining in Rafi area of Niger state, action must be taken quickly if they are not to suffer irreversible neurological damage.
Doctors Without Borders (DWB), an international NGO has been treating children from a 2010 mass lead poisoning in Zamfara state that killed 400 kids and left many paralyzed, blind and with learning disabilities because of a three-year delay in government funding for a clean up. DWB have claimed they have cured 2,688 of 5,451 people infected and hope to complete treatment next year. They have had most success in the worst affected village of Bagega where all but 189 of 1426 people have had the lead leached from their bodies.
Mr President-elect, It will be of interest to you to know that all those newly infected in Niger State are under the age of 5 years which is the age range of children with the lowest immunity against foreign infection or invasion, 43 per cent of the 65 sickened children are dying. The new mining sites which were found to contain leaded ores are often brought home for crushing and processing and are associated with this devastating impact of this outbreak, the fact that villagers make up to ten times as much from gold than from farming is the major factor encouraging illegal mining in these states. It has been discovered that Zamfara state where the processing area was found contains over 100,000 parts per million of lead which is far above 400 parts per million which the UN considers safe
Sir, the root cause of this lead poisoning crisis has been identified as unsafe mining and ore processing. People who engage in mining and ore processing must be given access to facilities and programs to allow them safely mine and process ore without exposing themselves or others to toxic lead. I therefore, On this my birthday passionately appeal to your incoming government to provide full support to these organizations especially the Doctors without Borders that are risking their lives and investing their time and resources to help curtail this crisis as previous Governments efforts to forbid artisanal mining have failed.
I hope you’ll wish me a happy birthday, but your wish for me can only come through if you’ll sincerely regard this passionate request as a national emergency in defense of the rights of the Nigerian children as adopted by the United Nations 1989 convention of the rights of the child which Nigeria is signatory as you begin your historic journey of change.
Our leaders of tomorrow depend on you; posterity beckons on you, save the children and save our future. Congrats on your election and thank you for taking time to read this.

[b]Blogging is a very good business, i grad from university 10years ago, i was jobless for almost 6years, i hustled and struggled to get job but no success, Fidelity bank denied me Job in 2009 after i passed the test because i read islamic studies in sch. it was in the wake of boko haram terrorism then. one of their HR named Mr. Basil told me that "Hey, we cant employ you, this is a financial organization, not a religious organization." i was motivated to home-schooled and Google-schooled my self in blogging. Thank God today, i earn what a bank Executive Director earns Monthly via my two blog www.Tipsmill.com & www.Vibenigeria.com

To be a successful blogger, You need to study your audience, write what they are searching for, write quality contents, advertise your blog on Nairaland, facebook or google ads. leave the rest to God

Sincerely, its not easy to be successful in bloggging. Inshallah, Im going to write a long essay on how nairaland contributed to my blogging success and i hope seun will help put it on front page then...

Many thanks to Seun for creating nairaland, Jidetheblogger for writting ogbonge guide to blogger which gave me a good foundation in my blogging career.

well, why not make the community Newspaper free? It is a challenge but this means you can grow your audience step at a time.

The challenges are content, Printing, since it is a periodical how often shall this be produce, target audience.

Income sources, Advertorials - Business available in the community, and products that are counsumed in the neighbourhood etc

Spin offs - Data gathering etc

I'm interested in partnering you on this cos I have had the idea for a while but I have not been able to free up time to do it.

Cheers.
