i feel you man, i felt just the same way. Meireless was prob the best in that midfield and he sold him.

I've not been as impressed with my team,
and spurs won us twice last season.
I hope it doesn't repeat itself.

there are a range of accents in nigeria related to social class very strong yoruba, hausa, efik etc accents and there is nothing wrong with that.

there are many other nigerians who speak with an accent that is obviously nigerian but quite clear internationally without traces of any particular nigerian language. what i would call the NTA accent.
i do not think the latter group should look down on the former.
then there are the clowns that say things like; Sarruday,hospirul,Duh and other felonies. they are vunny
anyone with real international exposure will appreciate that many other nationalities do not ridicule themselves this way.

depend on the kind of guy he is.
we do generalize most of the time, but not everyone follows that "generalization"
he could be a softie and not telling him back hurt him,
yes it would have been wrong to tell him if you didn't feel that way.
