What did the panel did, where they there?
What of Sanwoolu that said wife of one his comissioners called him that they were shooting at Lekki Tollgate and he rushed to various hospitals.

Again, why all the half truths. Nobody is denying there was shooting at the toll gate. The question is did the army or police shoot live bullets directly as protesters or in the air as they claim?

Sanwo-Olu like most of us found out about the shooting incident on social media. He did what a leader would do and rushed to the location only to found out that it was deserted and then proceeded to visit hospitals in the neighbourhood. He hadn’t carried out any investigations to confirm what exactly happened but he apologised for the shooting incident and consoled those that were injured in the hospitals. He then instructed the EndSARS panel to investigate what happened and report back to the government. That is what the panel was meant to do (investigate thoroughly) not try and work from the answers as it appears they have done.

Another half truth. The pathologist said the 3 bodies were labelled EndSARS Lekki and not Lekki Toll Gate. And he said one of them was claimed to have been shot at the toll gate. He wasn’t there. He was only going by the information he was given.

Some of you guys like half truths. Nobody is denying that people were shot on the night of 20 October 2020. The big question is were those people who were treated for gunshot wounds shot at the Lekki Toll Gate by the army or were they shot elsewhere by the army, police or other actors. The panel report answered this question. Go and read it.

Secondly, can you clearly state what you know about the incident? How many people were killed by the army at the Lekki Toll Gate and what are their names? At least you seem confident that people were killed and I can only assume you have the facts.

Liar. No pathologist said that 9 bodies were from the toll gate. What he said was that 3 of the bodies were labelled Endsars Lekki and only one had gunshot wounds. He couldn’t confirm if the labelling was correct since he wasn’t the one who took the bodies to the mortuary. He was only reporting on what he was told.

And people seem to ignore the fact that Lekki is much more than just the toll gate. There were shootings all over the Lekki axis that night including inside Lekki Phase 1.

It take the panel 1 year of painstaking investigation to arrive at the conclusion that there was a massacre with the names of victims published. But it took Lagos Government 2 weeks to undo the report of the panel which got released after a year. This government is a miracle government.

If you read the report, I am sure you will come to the same conclusion as the government white paper. The panel report is a scam and those who sat for one year to put it together should be prosecuted.

Your sensational header does nothing tally with the body of the article. The state government was reacting to “reports” but didn’t confirm the reports are true.

Reno has done a very poor job here. He is just repeating what the panelists did in the shoddy report.

I see he conveniently didn’t comment on the guy who was shot ar Ajah the day after the Lekki Toll Gate incident but was listed by the panel as a a toll gate victim. And the lady who had pellets in their wounds but was also listed as a toll gate victim of the army.

Can someone remind the legal practitioner that the political thug Sunday Igboho is being detained in a detention centre in Benin Republic. And some self acclaimed Yoruba “leaders” have already traveled to Benin Republic to discuss his travel with the beninoise government. Abuja is the wrong place to go since they don’t have any power to release him from a foreign jail.

So why haven’t their families submitted petitions to the panel and received compensation like the others listed in the report? Even the chief witness Ma Sarah Ibrahim got N10m compensation for Trauma for being present at the shootings.

Pointing out errors in a report from an investigation that took 12 months to produce is not defending soldiers. Accepting lies and incorrect information in such a report is more demonic. Some people just desperately want the "massacre" to be true. Its sad.
