Though I am a Muslim but I have no pity for Ishaq Akinola and his MURIC because he shows bias even among the Muslim Ummah. If you're not of the same idiology with him then he won't even look in your direction.

A young girl narrowly escaped death after she escaped from the hands of unknown gang of boys who attempted to slash her throat.
This incident happened at Runjin Sambo area in Sokoto North Local Government area.
The girl works as a sale girl in a shop where they deal in cushions and rugs. She is presently receiving treatment at clinic in Sokoto.

Report reaching DAILY POST from Makurdi, the Benue State capital has it that former Senate President, David Mark finally appeared in court in person to defend his fifth term victory against his opponent, Daniel Onjeh of the All Progressives Congress.

However, the embattled senator refused to testify from the witness box.

Mark was dragged to the tribunal by his only contender, Onjeh over his declaration by INEC as the winner of the Benue South Senatorial election.Onjeh had argued that the elections were marred by several irregularities and substantial breaches of the Electoral Act 2011 as amended.

He also averred that INEC officials were compromised and voters were financially induced by the PDP agents at the various polling units in the district.

The petitioner, therefore, urged the court to nullify the election and order for fresh poll.

Mark’s Counsel, Mr Kenneth Ikonne, had told the tribunal that his client would be appearing in person to testify today.

However, Mark who arrived in court in company of some loyalists on Tuesday refused to enter the witness box to defend his victory.

Op so u wanted him to divert public funds to tar d road leading to his home town?. That Aba-Owerri road is a Federal road. Is there no house of Rep member from that area? Is there no sitting senator from that senatorial district?

If he had tared d road to his village it is pple like op that will still come here shouting "Emeka Nwogu diverted public funds to tar d road to his home town".

That road is an equivalent of lets say Benin-Ore road(both are federal roads). Imagine u blaming a minister of Agriculture hu is from Benin for not fixing d Benin-Ore road when dat road was bad.

Mr man, nobody is asking him to divert any money. But as a Minister he could've influenced the awarding of the contract to fix that road. So that excuse cannot even fly. Anyway, i hope you dont belong to the group of the wailing wailers.
