You guys should stop this!

Brilliant observation indeed! TQUK is the awarding body just like ATHE and Highland are awarding bodies that LPTC uses and buy courses to sell from.

Everyone including LPTC, Kope Medics, Apex Learning(IIGS), etc are all resellers. All the REGULATED courses are not theirs. Just like Apex Learning is partnering with IIGS Ltd KOPE-MEDICS and REGO ET’ EL are in collaboration to do same thing.

Apex Learning buy their own courses from TQUK; the UK government buy the same course from TQUK and I gave a link for people to confirm the course authenticity. I never said that the government buy from IIGS. So you people should stop twisting my words. IIGS is working with Apex Learning on this and everyone can get these courses cheaper if you go through IIGS website and use their coupon codes. Anyone that doesn't want a discount should buy his own courses from other sources or even buy directly from Apex Learning. IIGS negotiated a partnership Apex Learning UK to bring the courses cheaper to Nigerians. What is wrong with that?

You have been helping people here Uzland so do your due diligence and don't let anyone with wrong motives drag your name in mud.

If the courses are fake please say so with proof. Anyone can write Apex Learning for confirmation and post the response here biko.

This is why I took my time to check the companies before posting.
You don try, it’s left for people interested to do their own due diligence.

TQUK is a well recognized awarding body in the UK regulated by ofqual, so the certificate will be recognized by the UK. Na for dem to ascertain whether iigs dey really work with Apex learning to deliver the training.

Hi guys, it's been a while cheesy

Concerning the two agencies I dropped, lptc and kope medics, I have someone who is almost done with her clinical placement with kope so I'll update you guys when she's done.

Concerning lptc, I don't have any insider info but it looks genuine and has been here since 2016 or so.

You can go for any of them that tickles your fancy.

Meanwhile, while we wait for 15th February, you can arm yourselves with as much certificates as you can. There are sites where you can get free care certificates but please be reminded that not all certificates are useful to you. There are 15 principles guiding care workers, make sure that whatever certificate you're getting falls under them. Don't go and train for something wey no concern your matter.
Nice.

Hello,
Thank you for your interest in our Certified Nurse's Aide Program, which
is also referred to as the Certified Nursing Assistant Program.
Unfortunately, we can no longer have a physical class for this program;
this development is due to over crowing at our facility; giving the fact
that we do not have enough space to accommodate the multitude of
applicants interested in this program, and also to ease the burden of
those who are unable to secure accommodation close to our facility.
Our Online Diploma Course is now live and open for registration and
enrollment.
The cost of our online Diploma course is 250,000NGN, as a one-time
payment on enrollment, or 270,000NGN as a 2-time installment payment,
which covers online lectures, e-book, handouts, quizzes, exams and all the material needed for this course; also detailed visual practical
sessions. It is self-paced, but designed to cover a minimum of 3-months
duration and a maximum of 6-months duration.
On successful completion, a diploma will be awarded which can be used to
gain employment in the UK and the US as well as Nigeria. Also, it can be
used as an adjunct to nursing school admission requirement, providing
the necessary medical background required.
For those who wish for clinical practice, practicum and experience, they
can further enroll for a physical practical session and clinical
clerkship for a duration of 2-months (at an additional cost of
150,000NGN) done in several countries. At the end of a successful
practicum, an additional Certificate of Training will be awarded, which
is of a much greater advantage.
Please note: "Awaiting  Result" cannot be used for registration, the
basic requirement is a WAEC, GCE, or NECO result or ite equivalent. A
minimum of 5 credits is required and Math, English and Biology are
mandatory.

If interested in enrolling for the online course, please send an email
requesting the school's bank detail to pay a sum of 10,000NGN to begin
the registration process.
Please contact us if you have any concerns or questions.
We look forward to working with you to attain greater heights.

Thank you
Admin Team

I contacted one agency in Nigeria and this is the reply I got.

Can I I proceed on this ?
I can’t say. If you’ve done your due diligence and satisfied with the result you got then by all means proceed, if not look elsewhere. The most important thing is to make sure they are legit, recognized by the Uk and that whatever diploma certificate you’re getting is equivalent to RQF/NVQ. Just be careful as there are lots of scam out there looking for people to rip off.

What’s the name of the training company?

Please, what is the name of the particular organization that offers the NVQ level 3 diploma equivalent training on health care for 350k?
The name of the company is London professional training centre. They are headquartered in Essex in the UK with branches in Nigeria.

Their awarding body is ATHE in the UK which is regulated by ofqual.

how long does the training last?
3 months classroom teaching(Fridays or Satudays) then you have to do a clinical placement for 150hrs-200hrs. Depending on how carry out your clinical placement working hrs, it could be within 4-6months duration.

I paid 350k with london professional training centre. There are others though, Kope medics -550k abi 600k, there’s one other one that’s called ASQ I think their own is around 400k.

Why are they rushing to obtain certification when the proposed care visa is tailored for the unskilled care worker? From the news publication, the employers would give compulsory on-the-job training to employees.
Well, unless there is some missing info
‘Unskilled care worker’ with no qualification in health and social care and ‘unskilled care worker’ with qualification in health and social care, who do you think will appeal more to an employer when they go through their CV’s?

No qualification and little to no experience, how do you intend standout amongst the thousands of people that will be vying for the care worker job come Feb.15. Another thing is, the qualification is required for a senior care worker and this job is currently on the shortage occupation list.

In a nutshell, there’s no missing info. People are just trying to standout by looking more appealing to employers.

I was sent this mail, and I never took it serious, and I'm in Benin

Will they be given the certificate the training?

How much did they pay?
Can I still join them?
I was made to understand it comes with 3 certificates. Care certificate, first aid and the ATHE level 3 diploma in health and social care.

I do not know if it's still possible to enrol, you just gats check in with them.

I paid 350k.

Good morning people,

Anyone knows what happens if an employer is already in the process of issuing a CoS (already applied to the home office for the CoS) but then I get another offer from another employer and want to proceed with the second employer instead? Do I have to reach out to the first employer to withdraw the CoS application or I can proceed with both companies applying for the CoS?

Has anyone experienced this? Or know anyone who has? How was it handled?

Thanks
This thing dey spoil pathway. These people pay serious money for CoS o, now you want to cancel on them after they might have initiated the process of getting you the CoS. The trust or care home might probably not take job applicants from Nigeria serious anymore and see us as unreliable.

Visa Alert!!!
Hehehe I've longed to type this since I discovered Nairaland in September 2020 when my husband was waiting for his second canadian visa application which he got a refusal. I was a strong follower of the Canada students thread.
I am from Kenya and I told myself wherever Nigerians are going we will go. That's how we started our journey for UK Student visa which never went far as we didn't have the amount required in bank statement.
My second option was to apply for Skilled visa which actually should have been my 1st option.
I did blind application to companies that were offering sponsorship and I got an offer and a CoS.
Timeline.

Visa Application 12/1/2022
Biometrics 14/1/2022
Tls email 26/1/2022
DHL collection 27/1/2022.
All info was gotten from this thread and less from UKVO.gov website. Truly go through the pages, you won't miss any details.
Thank you Nigerians, we did it!!!

And to the famous quote which I couldn't wait to write
"What God cannot do doesn't exist!"
Congratulations.

You’ll need your degree cert, transcript and medium of instruction letter from your uni. Register with ecctis, pay the fees and upload the necessary docs for the service you want. They’ll evaluate and send the report in in some working days.

If you go on ecctis site, everything is clearly spelt out there.

I appreciate. Level 3 is for senior Carer. I need just the health Carer training. Here in Uk, you don’t even need any skills but to employ someone from Nigeria they need like a certificate to prove you understand the job. There are a lot of opening in the care home here willing to sponsor. Any Nurse assistant can apply. I need the training for someone.
Yea I dig. Whatever you do, try and make sure that the minimum skill qualification required by UKVI is met sha. For senior carer that is on the shortage list, it’s RQF level 3… Carer might be RQF level 1 cause that’s like the introduction to health and social care and it’s not yet on the shortage list.

Good day people. Please who can help with where one can do care training in Nigeria
Some options you’ll find by reading through the thread; Kope Medics, LPTC and some online courses. But it may seem as though the online ones (level 3 diploma in adult care RQF) requires one to be the in the UK for you to enrol, maybe as a result of the work placement assessment they have to carry out. Both association of learning and the learning station said this when I inquired from them if someone in Nigeria can enrol for the course. Got them through reed.

Please is there anyone with idea of a site for online learning that someone from Nigeria can enrol for their RQF level 3 diploma in adult care? If yes, please do well to let us know.

Please any luck with a school to study health and social care.
If you’re in Nigeria, you can check out London professional training centre in Lagos, they have branches in Benin, Abuja and I think Port harcourt.

Another one is Kope medics. I got to know about both companies from here, so do your own personal scope, checks and try to ascertain if they are legit. So far LPTC looks genuine and recognized but na who don train with them and travel I dey find to give me review.

Attached is a screenshot of a pdf file from them when I sent them a mail trying to inquire about the diploma meeting the minimum required qualification for the health and care visa.

How about if you are already in UK on a visiting visa . Can you also apply for the care worker job?

Please, advise on eligibility
I think you can apply for the job but you can’t work with the visit visa, you have to get a work visa and you can’t do that while you’re in the UK.

So you have to exit the UK and return to your country to be able to apply for the health and care visa as a care worker.

Do you have a background in health and social care? If no, I advise you try to get a level 3 diploma in health and social care as that is the minimum qualification to get a visa as a care worker, it will also boost your cv when applying for jobs.
