So I just had a baby girl 3 months ago. Yay! Before then I did some beginner sewing for myself. Now it's all about her! So if you know how to use your sewing machine and do some basic sewing, this thread is for you. I usually make use of leftover fabric from what I use I making my clothes at the tailor's. Cos all you need is a little fabric. Below is my cute sewing machine and the dress I made last. For the diaper cover, I got the pattern online with some personal tweaking. Just google (perfect diaper cover) print, cut and you're good. You can use it for several diaper covers. In subsequent posts we'll go step by step. Feel free to ask questions but be patient with me cos am really busy with a baby and work. Hope you enjoy the thread! |
Besto:Please share what you did |
Adebayolove:Please is it proper for GTB to use different rates when you're making payments and when you're receiving payments? For example, I did a transaction on aliexpress that failed to go through. The seller refunded the money. GTB used #220 as exchange rates when I was paying, then they used 199 to refund. Is this the proper thing? Cos I want to take it up with them. Valuable inputs are welcome |

This is terrible sha. But I blame graduates who have decided it's either a white collar job or nothing. My younger sister is in the fashion business, she is constantly on the lookout for good tailors but has to go as far as togo or cotonou to get some. And those guys dictate their pay, she pays nothing less thank 60k a month, not including the compulsory accommodation you give them. She has a friend that pays hers 100k a month sef, so she's even lucky. This is in Benin o where things are relatively cheap, I don't want to imagine what these guys earn in Lagos and Abuja. We're currently building and in the plastering stage and again all fingers pointed to the togolese/ Benin Republic guys as the best people for the job. These guys are in the range of 15 to 22 years and they take nothing less than 600k-1mn for a standard sized duplex. A job they complete in 2 weeks. These are people who aren't even licensed to work in this country, getting more jobs and earning more than most Nigerian youths. So until Nigerian graduates learn to think outside the box, this situation will sadly continue. Get a skill. Stop the craze for white collar jobs. As one of my lecturers used to say back then, "shit money does not smell" |

The maintenance required light is programmed to come on every 5000km, so all you need do is reset it. You don't even need to change the oil if you did full servicing when you bought the car. 1. Put yOur key in the ignition 2. Turn it on. without starting the engine 3. Press and hold the trip indicator knob on the right side of your control panel. Wait till it shows 000 4. Turn off car. 5. The maintenance required light should be cleared when you turn on again |

mownie: morty:Hello all, so sorry I haven't been able to respond. The issue we've been having with the drafting ebooks is the fact that they're too large to attach to an e-mail. So been thinking of an alternative method to get them across. Ideas are welcome. |
Lol, ask me oh. Have not been fine sha, hope to update as soon,as I get better. tapingil: |
Hope your prices are good. I like the one in the attached picture. What will it cost Temm: |
I have visited your site. The issue is the machines there are pretty expensive, or are they negotiable? simplejayne: |
For those requesting for the books, I checked the site where I downloaded them and majority are no longer there. Maybe due to copyright infringement. I tried attaching it to a mail and sending but they are too large. So if anyone has an idea how I can share them, share with us please. P.s I thought about using Dropbox but I need to have wifi connection, which I don't for now. |
Next class coming soon. Pick between a bodice front or a differently styled skirt |
