Responded cleric: Please, respond to the e-mail i sent you. |
We'll like to know how to go about this please, |
He's very much aware about what is going on and has detached himself. He was petitioned by the aggrieved subscribers. mufutau55: Have you logged a complaint to Pastor Adeboye himself about this? You may get a quicker response or action if he find out that someone is trying to mess-up his Church name. |
I am posting this on behalf of my husband who has been having issues with his account since the blackout. He can't create a new topic but he will respond in the course of this thread. Please read and advice... I have fallen victim to fraud, this time not by the regular fraudster but by a reputable church. It all started in "September 2010, I was informed about an estate scheme by the resurrection chapel parish of Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG), Abuja. This scheme was spear headed by senior pastors of a group within the church named “Excellent Men Fellowship”. They offered plots of land for sale to their parishioners as well as other members of the public at Pyakassa district in Abuja. I paid N700,000 for a plot of land(500 sq. meters) to the group’s Oceanic bank (now Ecobank) account named RCCG-RC-EMHS (Project), the acronym of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Resurrection Chapel, Excellent Men Housing Scheme and was issued a receipt immediately. I was told that allocation of the plot will not be immediate for logistic reasons. I believed every bit of information from the pastor and called consistently to enquire about my plot allocation, on each occasion I was reassured that I will be allocated soon enough. January, 2012 I was yet to be allocated a plot, once again I called the lead pastor and requested for a refund as I no longer believed it was genuine, he informed me that the scheme is facing tough challenges with the host community and also some subscribers who wanted a refund and insisted that I either wait for refund or I pay an additional 1 million naira to get an instant allocation. This new development shocked me, I rebuffed him and insisted I wanted a refund immediately. As at today I am yet to get a refund. I intend taking legal action, please kindly advice. A dentist is a doctor benghaziii: peepz find it difficult to distinguish between dentist n doctors cos they both called doctors ....physiotherapist n lab scientist too cos dey all wear white coats.. now calling this peepz consultants will mess this profession up.. |
it's risky for me jare. I have another job now so I don't want a clashing date of first appointment for this current one, and resignation date from the previous agency EHITZ: I think it is to your advantage that you are being asked to write a fresh letter, its just to put the records straight in their file, in a bid to save their own head. |
That is why Medicine should be studied for the love of it and not as a task. |
Tell us here nau ![]() |
Because everyone cannot and should not be doctors. We have roles and I don't think anyone should be disrespected or stepped on for choosing a lesser role. These issues have been brewing overtime because of lack of respect in the system. I personally feel that if someone is a cleaner, respect that person for it and do not start asking why the person didn't choose a higher role because if that person doesn't do that lesser role, you end up doing everything yourself. texazzpete: My question for JOHESU is this: |
So this issue has taken a new dimension, I have been asked to write another resignation letter and put today's date. Something is sounding fishy about this? What do I do guys, please help |
Don't stay in abuja, but you are making sense EHITZ: Speaking from a legal perspective and having considered all issues raised, i will advice you to write a letter of demand, detailing all that is supposed to accrue to you while your stay at the agency lasted. |
davide470: The best way to resolve this is: Draft a mail to CBN (Head of Accounts or something), copy Head of Accounts of your former agency, HR, Head of your unit. The mail should entails the date of your resignation, the error salary paid, your agency requesting you to pay d said amount in their account, your outstanding allowance owed and finally, ask for an advice.Ha, I want to work in a federal agency nau, what's the possible outcome of taking this route? |
It's painful because I still owe money I used in paying rent when I took this job. I was hoping to use the 28days allowance to offset that. But they refused to pay it. Please more responses from FG workers will be appreciated. Would like to know the best route to recover my money if am going to return this one. Thank you |
Thanks a lot for all your advise guys. Appreciate. How can they forget how much they owe me? I think I'll take d advise of the poster that said I should write to them detailing the amount I am owed. The agency doesn't have an account, it's CBN directly that pays us. I intend to ask for the account number tomorrow, lemme see which account they intend me to pay it into. The said money is roughly 120000, it used to be 140k until they started removing 20k per month saying when the budget is passed, they will refund. |
I resigned a month ago from a government agency (name witheld). I was paid in error a month after. I got a call from the head office that I should return the money to the agency's account. Before you go ahead to answer whether it is right or not to return this money and the possible consequences of not returning it, let me give you some background gist. I joined the agency a little over two years ago, had to resign because I got another job that was more convenient for me even though not as well paying. So when I joined, I was to get what they call first 28 days allowance amounting to over 300,000 naira. Up till when I resigned, the agency didnt pay that money. Then they started deductions from salary about 8 months ago (amounting to almost 200,000 for this period), claiming they will pay it when the national budget is passed. Till I resigned I didnt get that either. So the question now is am I owing them or are they owing me? what would you do if you were in my shoes? P.s They asked me to pay this money to the agency's account, and I am well aware that it is CBN that pays our salaries, the account statement shows that too. |
