Honestly, whatever doesn't add to my Resume went out the door.
I had a 4 page Resume when I was still in school more out of inefficiency than any other thing.

Now, my Resume is easily 3 pages but I consciously keep it at 2.

Sorry I'm asking this question. It's just for clarity sake.
When you indicate, "References/Referees are available on/upon request", how then are you to present the contacts of your references? Is it by getting a letter from each of them recommending you or by simply writing it down for them (the HRs) on a piece of paper? *** I know the writing it down kiniko might sound funny but, please explain.

Thats all so in a way if makes my resume a 3 page one sought of if the job requirement request for referees normally I don't bother I just a have the soft copy and hard as backup

It can be tiring different formats, though it's better not including your reference on your Cv and I suspect this might be the issue don't include reference available on request no need for such.
Or would you refuse if requested for , I have a separate reference form in case am asked to drop one at the spur of the moment it contains the heading on my Cv and just a simple list of referees.

I have that "References are available on request on my CV"

I had references on my CV, then an HR person told me to remove it and put references are available upon request. That the organisation you're applying for will demand for your references and that one's CV has to carry only one's details, nothing else.
