have been going through several posts and have read where people on Nairaland say that they walked about submitting their CVs and eventually got employed and I have been inspired by these stories (frankly I am tired of inactivity).
I want to know how to find the offices of the company I want to apply to, or should I apply to any of their branches that I see ( the CV fit loss o).
Who to ask for and the process/procedure for submission (heard that the gatemen/receptionists can be quite abusive).
What to submit along with the CV (coverletter, discharge cert etc.)
Any other useful information.
Please nairalanders help a brother in need and I know that this information will be useful to not just myself but to others out there.

Hi dozy, though going in person to submit CV may have worked for some, I doubt that the percentage of people who have gotten gigs through this means is high.

I'll advice you connect with someone who works in the company you want to submit your CV to (an insider), to help you submit it to the HR. It's more effective and very likely that it will be given due consideration.

You can connect with such people either on LinkedIn or here on Nairaland.

It's hard for People to understand why I seem "indifferent " to religion ... I believe in God o... But I'm not fanatical about my belief.

You see... Success has many friends... If you "have money ", they (church, banks etc) will court and respect you... Because of crumbs they will get from u.

But me, I used 6 browser windows rigged with 5 tabs each total 30 tabs...!!..

Before you say jack, people started complaining dat I'm eating all d work... Why should I wait for a minute for d server to record an entry wen I can simply roll to another tab? ... Things like dat often results in jealousy and back biting against me in d workplace ... You recall in d "To sponsor or not to sponsor" chapter when General ' s manager deliberately didn't submit a document meant for his boss...

If I see job, I will take it... But wen ppl start complaining dat I'm out-running dem... I know what's up....

Empty drum they say makes the loudest noise. If you indeed graduated with first class or 2.1 it will speak out on its own, no be by noise!
I just see a bunch of monikers trying to feel good about themselves online and from my observation most of them claim to have what they do not actually have.
