When you say you have met with people you know from the bank, do you mean like you want to go back there to work? The same bank you 'left' or that left you, either way, there was a leaving, so, look away from that bank and focus on others if it must be a bank employment you desire.

For now, most state governments are unable to keep up with payment of salaries actually. While you wait for them optimistically, try taking private lessons. It will help you financially and it is flexible too. You really need the cash to keep you going.

After successfully collecting the loan, you were laid off! I read somewhere that collecting loan as a bank staff is like an immunity from being fired. Yours is clearly different. 6 years as a contract staff in a bank? Wow! There are a lot of twists in this matter. You really overstayed. Thank God you don't regret the laying off, that was a blessing in disguise if you ask me.

Presently, don't you have contacts or people from the past 6 years of working who can help you secure sth befitting your new academic qualification and experience? You should be looking at experienced hire now and somehow, there are not too many of them being advertised like fresh graduate Vacancies.

I think you should explore LinkedIn sha and that loan, isn't there a way for it to be written off?

In one instance he was so annoyed at what the religious people were doing that he went into the church (synagogue) destroying the place and chasing away people. Jesus didn't even go to church!!. In another instance he went all the way to farm on Sunday!. And on some cases went out doing charitable work on a Sabbath day (Sunday) and when the church leaders asked him why he didn't go to church he told them "If one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out?".

Please stop seeing God in the eyes of religion, if you want to know the truth.

Jesus did not believe in religion. There's no reason anybody who believes in Christ should believe in religion.

To answer your question, there's nobody going to any literal hell or heaven. But, of course , there'll be judgement- the judgement you already pass on yourself. On your dying bed, you personally would take a good look at how you spent your life on earth, and you'll know better whether you are a good person or not. That's the judgement.

Those who don't pass a good judgement on themselves would simply stop to exist (second death). Those who passed a good judgement on themselves would enter a new form of peaceful and happy everlasting existence which doesn't require a flesh to exist- like wireless networks does not require physical cable to transmit call to your mobile phone. It's a different wavelength of existence and has already been discovered by those who invented the TV and radio, but the discovery was being suppressed by mainstream science and the government.

Yea, natural spices rock! We never had such packaged stuff in our house then, even pepper was ground in mortar, nothing like buying already ground dry pepper and storing it but for that day, I had to resort to using the recommended Onga and ever since then, I've never again priced that seasoning in the market. The colour is an apology for jollof... Lol.

I will never forget that day! Remembering it alone is making me laugh. My brother after eating that rice and stew gave a funny speech as my dad was fuming in anger at my 'boiled' stew... Lol, he ended by saying "as long as this stew doesn't kill us, we are never going to die by spoon"

But age 6?
Mba Mba! My dad is a top chef who never allowed us go close to fire . My aunties then used to tease us (my sisters and I) cos I didn't even know how to light a stove after primary school , it was bad.

But by secondary school, I had started feeling bad when my friends talked about things they could cook, I couldn't even boast of lighting a stove not to talk of boiling water. So, one fateful afternoon, I took the bull by the horn and cooked a disastrous meal that I threw away before anyone returned. Lol

My friends told me preparing jollof rice is the easiest thing to cook. I believed them and they gave me the recipe. But the bad thing was, since we weren't allowed to cook, I couldn't touch my mum's tinned tomatoes and other ingredients and I didn't want anyone to know that I attempted burning down the house so I saved my lunch money for days, just to carry out that mission. In place of tomatoes, I used that Onga tomatoes seasoning... Boy! The rice was PINK!!!! like I added color to it and I was feeling myself . My head was swelling as I stirred the pot every 5-10 mins for no reason, I just liked what I was doing.

Few minutes later, water and onions was floating over the rice, the pot was burning, the rice was still as hard as stone and I was confused. Out of disappointment and fear that I may be caught, I brought down the pot, tasted it- Zero! Lol... Quickly scrapped everything out and washed off the pot before taking my position innocently as a good girl with my assignments spread on the table

Somehow, till this day, I hate to cook Jollof rice cos the memory of that 'Onga' rice is still fresh in my head.

This misconception about Marriage in the Igbo land is actually absurd and lack touch of reality.

Dowry or marriage life given by d bride's family depends on the following:

1. How you show yourself (if you flaunt ur wealth, dropping some shouldn't be a problem nah)

2. The list depends on where the groom is coming from. The price for a man from outside Igboland will never be same with a man from same state/LGA/Village/hamlet/Umunna. This is used to discourage Igbo girls from going too far from their root.

NB: An igboman from Enugu can easily finish the marital rites with 150k. Then u can knock yourself out during your wedding if u so desire.
