You are heating an oil and mistakenly it turns to flames due to overheating, try and stay calm then follow any of these steps: STEP 1:- If fire is still contained in the pot or can, turn off the heat on the burner, look for a large lid (cover of pot), slide it over the pot and cover the pot, the flame should be smouldered and put out. STEP 2:- If you have a baking soda or any cooking flour readily available, toss as much as possible into the pot. This will quench the fire. STEP 3:- If you have a kitchen ABC extinguisher, arm and aim at the flame source, immediately turn off the heat source afterwards. Never pour water into a burning oil fire, it will erupt in a ball of flames and sting, hurting you and spreading the fire. Remember, your family safety depends on your actions. Be pro-active about your family safety. For more info, please visit www.hsplusng.com Sorry, I would have loved to post the video but it's not uploading.. There are some silly things some men do that are rather too childish considering their position as the head of the family •Not eating their meal because they had a quarrel with their wives. •Not talking to their children because they did something bad that requires correction •Transferring their anger from an outsider to the members of their family •Beating their wives because they had a little quarrel •Acting as if everything is cool when there is a visitor in the house •Acting all nice with people outside but when he comes home he acts like a tiger...and when you tell people outside what he does they find it difficult to believe it . Feel free to add yours.. BTW, counter thread coming soon.. Make I wear live jacket dey wait |
1. If you drop a whole egg on the floor, pour salt all over the egg, let it sit for awhile, then use dustpan, the egg will come right up, without all that mess. 2. Soak stained hankies in salt water before washing 3. Sprinkle salt on your shelves to keep ants away. 4. Soak fish in salt water before descaling; the scales will come off easier. 5. Put a few grains of rice in your salt shaker for easier pouring. 6. Add salt to green salads to prevent wilting. 7. Test the freshness of eggs in a cup of salt water; fresh eggs sink; bad ones float. 8. Add a little salt to your boiling water when cooking eggs; a cracked egg will stay in its shell this way. 9. A tiny pinch of salt with egg whites makes them beat up fluffier. 10. Soak wrinkled apples in a mildly salted water solution to perk them up 11. Rub salt on your pancake griddle and your flapjacks won't stick 12. Soak toothbrushes in salt water before you first use them; they will last longer. 13. Use salt to clean your discolored coffee pot. 14. Mix salt with turpentine to whiten you bathtub and toilet bowl. Cc: Lalasticlala #copied. |

"The reason for this is simple: we are a nation of rent-seekers who want to do little and get rewarded bountifully for it." True talk, many have the mindset of working like ants and feeding like elephants.. "It is time we all stopped waiting for our share of the 'national cake' and moved into the 'national kitchen' to produce all sorts of meals like jollof rice, moimoi, pounded yam, edikaikong, afang soup, amala gbegiri and ewedu plus others. We will not be hungry if we all work to produce these and other meals rather than wait for the crumbs of the national cake of which a very minute fraction remains." I believe there are many youths out there ready to work but the problem is "where to work".. They've gotten the potentials nd credentials but needs someone to take them to the right place... May God Almighty help us all... Amen. . . BTW, it's been a while I saw d name maclatunji on Nairaland.. So, where av u been ![]() |

In times of war, u don't fold ur arms and watch ur rivals kill you, u fight.. In summary of the ten commandments, Jesus summed it up by giving jst two which are 1)Love the LORD your God with all your heart, mind and strength. 2) Love your neighbour as yourself.. Don't be confused, just pray for the Holy Spirit to answer any doubt or question u av in mind about the Scripture or even life itself.. See Matthew 5:43-48; Matthew 22:37-40 Hope this helps |
