Good day everyone!
NPC aren't given "Birth certificate" for person above 18years, they're only issuing "Attestation letter of birth".
But the Embassy requested for someone that's born after December, 1992 to present his/her Birth certificate.
I was born after 1992, but a bit confused to submit Attestation to the embassy instead of the Birth certificate.
Would there be a problem if I submit the Attestation?

1st, the university of klagenfurt insist i legalise every page of my transcript of records(5 pages). Meanwhile the embassy only legalise per document, which i have explained to the university....
2nd, just got a mail that i will get an invitation letter with a conditional offer because all documents need to the requirements and be processed by the admission and examination office during enrolment...
My question is, will the embassy accept this invitation letter with the condition?
How do i explain to the university that my transcript has been dully legalised??

scan andbsend the legalised document to your school.

Get an admission 1st. It will give you ginger to find a way. Admissions are valid for 1 Year.

Therefore bomb school emails with your results. If you get a good reply, legalise and send your documents.

I am not an admission officer. you can check the course requirements of the course you want to do.

However, if you think you can do the course with your HND, dont be discouraged. write the course cordinator and tell him what you have. His reply will gv u hint.

dont underestimate the power of convinction.
Just poir your heart in the email. you will be suprised in what you will discover.

To be on a safer side, email the soft copy of your application documents to your course cordinator. tell him you want to apply and politely ask what are your chances of admission with your qualifications.

His reply shld be either assurance of Yes.
200k plus legalisation money is not easy to waste.

get an assurance first. or at least, make sure you are well up to the admission requirements before you take that step. good luck

If u are not too rich to gamble 200k+ without admission, spend hours and days writing course cordinators emails. Send them soft copy of ur documents for a review. (If you hv a chance of admission they will tell u and gv u assurance)
Once u follow the steps they lay and submit documents needed. Your admisaion is sure.

Continuation from where i stoped.

Ministry of education.
If you are not used to online payment and booking, you canngo to Ministry of education Abuja on week days and get ur documents authenticated thesame day if u go on time.

Ministry of foreign affairs.
The ministry of foreign affairs if opposite the ministry of education there att the secretariat.
Take all ur school documents and birth certificate and LGA certificate of origin and also a photocopy of ur International passport to the the ministry. (1000 naira per document) the official price is 250 but you knw Nigeria is NOT CORRUPT. Once you get ur documents signed and legalised by the ministry of foreign affairs, you are good and ready for the embassy for verification process.

Withdraw ur 200k. Fill ur form and be at the embassy b4 11am on dat wednesday. (Do not underate that form. Beta fill it 2 weeks b4 ur date becos a lot of answers u need from relatives are plenty.
Goodluck.
(It takes 6-8 weeks b4 u are called to come and legalise.) Within this period, find accomodation in Austria, make arrangements for ur prove of finance/support. Build ur account and learn some German language. We proceed as we progress.

Hello everyone,

If you are willing to travel to Austria for student visa, read the following guidelines carefully. I am writing from experience and i promised to make it easy for anyone coming after me.

1.Findin schools and getting admission

a. Use google to check for schools and courses.
Check the admission requirements of ur course.
There are so many english taught courses

b.. Email the course cordinator of the course with ur documents and ask him/her ur chances of getting admission. Do not waste money on DHL if you are not sure of admission.

C. Apply officialy when u get a postive answer from the cordinator. Some schools require u legalise ur docs. because of covid19. Some wave it and ask u to send the originals to them. (Be very sure they will email ur school to verify if ur cert. And transcript are legit.)

D. If u finally get the admission letter, congratulatuons the journey have just entered stage 2.

2. Verification and legalisation of documents.

a. Assemble ur documents for verification and leaglisation. Weda u hv admission or not, u need this stage becos all documents for student permit or residence permit has to be legalised.
Documete needed are:

i. birth certificate. (If you are born after 1992 ur birth certificate fro hospotal will serve. If u arenborn before 1992. U need NPC birth certificate attached with age declaration and attestation from fedral high court.) VERY IMPORTANT--- the person standing for you must declare his or her own age and date of birth, and must be 5 years older than you. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT dont miss it.

ii certificate of origin from local government

iii school documents. (First school cert. Waec. Transcript, Bsc/BA. etc.). This depends on what the school needs.

b. Authentication of documents by Nigerian ministries. (Ministry of education and foreign afdairs)

i Ministry of education.
Register on https://ess.education.gov.ng/
Upload ur documents and get an appointment after u pay 250 per document upload. Go to Abuja with the documents u uploaded and hv them stamped and signed on (thats the authentication from MOE) go with ur payemt slip(printed out) because u will require a reciept.

People who are troubled are those who have no experience of German waka.

Last winter, the embassy website stated by September that dates were no longer available. We all knew wot happened- date flowed till october ending.(the wise ones did wot was suggested by experts---changing of start date to a later date )

This summer, it is unfortunate that it started early. Some of us booked date since october and put FEBRUARY as start date. (The embassy knws most are lies because schools start by April) even without AL.

Now a new law is passed to check all these abuse and we are agitating and claiming right for a petition. We have to calm down brothers!! Most people shouting do not have Admissions yet.

The solution is to be patient and wait. If u have booked already, date surely will drop. If u r yet to book, be wise and use a later start date like April or May.( ur date will come early Feb.)
From reports, given out date are still Dec-Jan. Feb, March and April still dey.

Hope and prayer dey work for those who think all is Logic and fact.
