I came across this result online, and was just wondering whether anyone had a better result this year. Our teenagers are arguable less interested in mainstream education now than ever, and its not surprising that JAMB had to reduce the Nationwide cut-off mark this year to accommodate for the majority of students who fell below the lower grade percentile. It is reassuring that results like this or maybe better is still possible considering the decline in the country's education system. Hope may no longer be in the places we looked for it, we may now need to look back in the hands of the younger generation. The country may have failed us but its youths are sure relentless in their own pursuit for success. In the midst of a chaotic nation, brilliant students like this or even less, sure deserve an applause.

I just had a Second FTC in space of just 15mins today. Mathematically the odds are 0.000099. Am heading straight to betnaija and am waging all this year's savings. While am at it il apply for an American visa today. I'll also walk up to my boss and demand a 500% salary increment... ill write a cheque of 10 million naira and go the bank at the corner of my street to withdraw what I don't have... I'll call Buhari and tell him not to do 2nd term and he'll listen, who has his number.... just feeling lucky ![]() |

That's exactly what our leaders do in that part of the world, they expend so much energy in creating irrelevant barriers for people, in other to control and enslave their minds. What does consulting your pastor first over your parent have to do with the prosperity of your marriage. Where in religious scriptures has this ever been written. As much as Christianity and Islam oppose themslves, it's never written in either scriptures to consult with spiritual leaders "first". Yes, their prayers advice are required. But that's not the issue ... more like...bonding the already enslaved minds. Free the sheeple abeg! |
I hope she's able to withstand all the criticism from her antagonists. Her responses from the live chat on cool fm showed that she is quite vulnerable after all, all the curses and abuse she was spewing while on the show was perhaps her way of protecting that vulnerability. Almost 90 days of built up emotions, gingered with the struggle to remain resilient in the face of Tobi' s epistles with Alex mixed with a pinch of pride was surely a plate of kasala that was too much for even her to handle. She has her flaws just like everyone of us do, but the circumstances she found herself in that house was too much for her to bear, resulting in that explosive behaviour. I think she should just come out, accept her mistakes an move on, Nigerians that are willing to forgive Buhari for calling us lazy youths will sure look beyond a young ladies utterance on a live show. What do i know sef .. |

vannessa7:Alhamdulillah sis. May Allah continue to guide you. You have come so far in your quest for the truth and Allah as shown you the right path , otherwise you may have been distracted by the virulent comments of some despirate people in this forum all in a bid to discourage you from Islam I have read through your post, your story and journey is a testimony only to people who are guided by Allah . My mother had a similar experience before she reverted into islam. She was a fervently prayerful young woman, she saw visions, lead crusades and even casted out demons while she was a Christian , her father was a leader of some of the churches at the time. But as God will have it she married a Muslim, my dad obviously , he allowed her to continue going to church and praying with the bible afterall there is no compulsion in religion. But as time went by she saw the similarities between the two religions, which is apparent only if our Christian brothers and sisters were unbiased. There are a thousand and one similarities between islam and Christianity however the differences between the two religions can be counted on one hand. The problem is 90% of what Christians know about Islam is what is written or shown in the media. Has anyone of them had encounters with a Muslim threatening to behead him/ her based on what Islam preaches? Have they had a confrontation with a Muslim telling them we Muslims don't believe in God, the creator of heaven and earth, but we are just deceitfully worshipping some Idols of the ancient Arabs? Islam is more than what most christains think unfortunately most of our Christian brothers may not give themselves the chance to even listen, they are always quick to attack or hull abusive words at the Prophet. May Allah forgive them. It only takes the grace of Allah to be guided. My mother is now a Muslim and she brought us up as good Muslims Alhamdulillah. It wasn't a forced or a coersed conversion to Islam. She saw for herself and in her very own heart knew this had to be the true path to God almighty, a sight every sincere heart beholds in it quest for truth. Allah has created us this way, but Shaitan beffuddles and overwhelms the heart of mankind. May Allah protect us.Masalm |

The world is gradually waning into confusion. Some people can't diffrenciate among Love, lovemaking and sex. How can a choice made after s*x determines whether one love his/ her partner. Although the act of leaping out of the bed by a man or woman after attaining their s*xual gratification may be a pointer to what the party genuinely desired ( in this case s*x), the act can not be exclusively used as a yard stick for whether love exist. The statement made by the OP is just overly myopic Na wah too much gramma ![]() |

Please look closely the picture speaks volumes. Everybody facing what matters to them most. The men facing front in anticipation for the question papers and to pour out weeks or even months worth of study-work and hoping to secure a good job in future. While the women turning back at the bride in admiration for what perhaps majority of them are in school for anyways. The picture is a classical case of Naija gender mentality ,portraying different life prioties of the sexes ![]() |
