What does Ndume know? Does he know more than Helinues and NgeneUkwenu? We are patiently waiting for APC's convention and primaries across the country. The danger for APC will not necessarily be those who will decamp shortly. It will be the silently aggrieved who are too afraid to decamp for fear of victimisation but will silently stay behind and work against the party. This is why someone is working hard to be the only candidate on the ballot. That will be the only pathway to victory. |
Magnumproperty:Leave all these talk. Who approved policemen for Wike for him to carryout a forceful and hostile takeover of the PDP headquarters? This is a mere political appointee who has no immunity and is not even in the ruling party. The voice of Esau and the hand of Jacob. |
Nothing to worry about. Reno Omokery will be there to counter her. He no longer believes there's a Christian genocide and that's all that matters. |
Mods, please close down this thread. There's no faction in the ADC. |
sparko1:Oh really? So why did you all try to deny when SaharaReporters broke the news that politicians were being paid to decamp? "Money make everything go round", we can now understand where the subsidy savings and loans are going towards. Nigeria's future is not for sale and cannot be procured by the highest bidder. Tell your principals to channel those monies towards the right causes and pay civil servants their due.
|
Magnumproperty:Wike forcefully took over the Wadata plaza of the PDP headquarters using security forces. Isn't that an open approval of his actions by the government? Isn't it curious that both the LP and PDP, the political parties that produced the first and second runner-up candidates in 2023 are suddenly bad wives? SaharaReporters reported that politicians are being induced with financial benefits to decamp but you lots denied. Meanwhile, Federal workers are still crying out for the arrears of the 35k wage award. Where are the loans and subsidy savings going towards? We can hazard a guess.

sparko1:Friends by choice or by coercion? What about the people of Rivers state? Are they also friends with Wike and Tinubu, or they don't matter? |
I'm sure they have a lot of materials from Father Kukah, FFK and Reno Omokri to work with. The fact that they are now on Tinubu's payroll is irrelevant to the U.S Congress. |
Hoelujohn:Real analysts know this already. Wike is not even loved at home. The people of Rivers boycotted the local government elections he singlehandedly organised in the state. His only pretend-lovers are Gbadorians from the usual quarters who will turn against him in the twinkle of an eye as soon as he falls out with their tin-god. In the meantime, he continues to cost Tinubu huge political capital and goodwill. |
Slowly but surely. The battle for 2027 will be a marathon, not a sprint. Tinubu knows the coast is still not clear despite having armtwisted the 36 state governors to decamp to the APC. I can't say the same for the Agbadorians on here. They continue to grandstand while their principal is doing everything he can to ensure he's the only candidate on the ballot. |
NgeneUkwenu:Just a simple question NgeneUkwenu, why is Tinubu investing so much resources to destroy all opposition parties in the country using his political appointees and apparatus of state? He has already armtwisted all 36 state governors to decamp to his party, what is he still afraid of? Is there something he knows about that the rest of you are not seeing? |
Brenbentondiaz:Okay Einstein. Why then is the military leading the investigation on the alleged coup? Shouldn't Tinubu have reported the matter to the police for proper investigation? |
Richtaiwo:Okay. |
Richtaiwo:Shape shifting? There's a huge difference between "no such incident was reported to us" and "no such incident happened" but go on. |
Richtaiwo:This one was reported by Amnesty International yesterday though. By your logic, it didn't happen because the police are not aware of it and no conventional news media is reporting on it. https://www.nairaland.com/8562953/amnesty-international-gunmen-abduct-12 |
Richtaiwo:Is this the police under your Tinubu you are talking about or your fantasy of how the ideal police operates? We can now understand why so much resources are being invested on denials and news suppression. "If it wasn't reported, then it didn't happen". |
Well, the police should rather say no such incident was "reported" to them instead. The military will not file a complaint before the police. Vanguard was clear that military sources gave them the info. There was also an usual movement of military personnel along that axis yesterday. This was all avoidable. |
Amnesty International is now playing the part of our conventional media because they have all been captured and put on payroll to suppress news. |
Apart from SaharaReporters, which other news media is reporting on this? APC's idea of solving any issue is buying off the media to prevent them from reporting on it. |
yarimo:You left Yerima's Commander-in-Chief and are focusing on Yerima. No be juju be that? This government have apparently capitulated to the bandits and are embracing a policy of negotiations while all attention is on winning the 2027 elections. |
I sincerely hope the Obio-Akpor Ghengis Khan is not attempting to play with fire. We know his ego was bruised like never before. That's already a motive. The consequences will be unprecedented. |
Reno was probably in an hotel lobby while lieing as usual that he is at Oxford. Let him provide proof by showing the audience he was talking to. The conman continues to milk the gullibles that fund his wild goose chase in the government. Here are screenshots of his chat with Mike Arnold when he and Nuhu arranged to have Mike come to Nigeria. Needless to say, it backfired tremendously. Nuhu should know better than to allow himself to be associating in such endeavours and with characters like Reno, considering the sensitive nature of the position he occupies.

We know who came with a polarising muslim-muslim ticket and now seeking to use Southern solidarity to retain power. We know who came into power and prioritised ethnicity in both appointments and projects, even to the detriment of the other South. We know which candidate is riling up their supporters and encouraging them to tell people from other regions to go back to their states under the umbrella of conservatism. We know which candidate has used state apparatus to ensure that the first and second runner-up in the last election are facing similar leadership crisis in their parties while doing everything to ensure another Southern aspirant, Jonathan does not contest. Op, your epistle is DOA. |
Linzo:They know that despite the defection of the 36 state governors to APC, Tinubu's pathway to re-election is still not clear. Tinubu will win the 2027 election only if he succeeds in running as the only candidate on the ballot. |
NgeneUkwenu:The truth is bitter. This is not the APC the likes of you and Omenka supported in 2015. The only thing APC about the party today is the name. Everything is now worse than it was prior to 2015, yet Tinubu won't let any other aspirant even from the South contest against him. The essence of having your party in power should go beyond one-upping your perceived opponents. Governance is about the people, and the APC has clearly lost track of that. It is worth wailing about. |
Theodore Orji, Idris Wada, etc. The worst of the worst that governed Kogi and Abia are who Tinubu is courting now out of desperation to have everyone in his party and run unopposed. APC has lost the morality and confidence vested on it by the people that made it win the 2015 presidential election. It is now a party with no moral code or ideology. |
The paranoia continues. Is it that the changing of the service chiefs is not working? Why not just scrap the military if he's this scared? Even the U.S military tries their officers and men through a specialised court-martial, just like in Nigeria. Goodluck sending the police to arrest a Major General. Leaders should not be seen to be this agitated and concerned only when they feel personally threatened. |
Kukutente23:He was ratified as the substantive chairman before the convention proceeded. It was simply a way to clarify that Wike and his so-called faction are merely taking a walk leading to nowhere. |
Is he also one of those who condemned the PDP for expelling Wike? |
Even the ones on their way out of the party are talking. Hurry up and decamp, Muftwang. After the APC primaries, Tinubu will realise how much damage he has done to the APC with his inordinate desire to destroy alternative parties like the PDP and have only one party. Everyone cannot be accommodated and if history has taught us anything, it is that politicians are students of power and will always aspire. |
Dividends of the APC policy of negotiating with terrorists in so-called peace deals and non-kinetic approach just to gain temporary respite so they can win elections. It's the equivalence of placing a band-aid over a bullet wound. |
