PoliticsRe: Badaru: Tinubu Moving The Pieces by AMINDA: 8:00am On Dec 02, 2025
Gagare1:
I believe it takes a commendable amount of courage to acknowledge ones mistake, and even more to take steps to correct it. Yes, Tinubu appointment them, most likely based on political interests. And now, national interest made the same Tinubu to remove them.

I am not a Tinubu supporter, but I am bound by honour to acknowledge a good move, even from someone I mostly disagree with.

National interest first.
Is it really national interest or demand from the U.S? Was the level of insecurity not being glossed with propaganda until the international scrutiny? If it's national interest, he would not continue to double down on his selection of the likes of Reno Omokri as ambassadors despite public outcry. It's not enough to change his mind after the repercussions start to manifest. It's usually costly and we don't have that luxury of time.
PoliticsRe: Convoy Of Nigerien Troops Entered Nigeria To Fetch Water – Military by AMINDA: 6:36am On Dec 02, 2025
potbelly:
Entered Nigeria to fetch water...
Is this supposed to he a joke?
Why would it be a joke? Nigeria had a fruitful relationship with their Nigerien counterpart especially in the area of security via the Multinational Joint Task Force until Tinubu came into power and fumbled it. This broken relationship can be listed as one of the several reasons behind the increasing deterioration in our fight against terror.
PoliticsRe: Badaru: Tinubu Moving The Pieces by AMINDA: 6:28am On Dec 02, 2025
Who put the pieces there in the first place? Wasn't it the self-proclaimed talent hunter? Few years from now, when the likes of Reno and Ikpeazu inevitably causes an international embarrassment, you lot will still be here to hail Tinubu for "moving the pieces". Sycophancy is one he'll of a drug.
PoliticsRe: Ex-CDS, CG Musa To be appointed Defence Minister - Sahara Reporters by AMINDA: 6:20am On Dec 02, 2025
Satazaa:
What a lot of Nigerians do not realize is that the entire political leadership hierarchy and positions in northern Nigeria is occupied by the Fulanis and 80% of banditry are populated by them with an overiding objective to rule and conquer other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria including the hausas and Christian North faithfuls, however their dominance in Nigeria political and military space is enormous and it's an extremely tough nut to crack by a non Fulani leader, they are a blood thirsty lots that continue to kill in or out of power, so Tinubu should be supported by every well meaning Nigerian in his quest to do that, again the only non Fulani leader that succeeded in doing that was OBJ so Tinubu should be drinking from his cup of wisdom by pallying him
No problem. He can assign every current position held by Northerners or Fulanis to his Yoruba kinsmen. Afterall, he's doing that on all the Southern slots and we can all see how marvellously well they are excelling in their roles. Even Egbetokun is being retained despite passing the age of retirement because no current serving policeman from any other region can deliver what he can. Before you continue to stoke tribal hatred, first tell Tinubu to return the 5.6m Fulani votes that made him President. Or do you think it was the paltry 2m votes he got in the Southwest that made him President?
PoliticsRe: Ex-CDS, CG Musa To be appointed Defence Minister - Sahara Reporters by AMINDA:
Rilwayne001:
Tinubu is taking every bold step to correct all the wrong decisions that’s worsen or security situation.

Thank God he’s listening to reasoning.

Nigeria must be great again.
He's undoing his mess but at what cost? The two ministers of defence had no business being there in the first place but he passed up on other competent people and went ahead to appoint them despite outcry by most people in the North. He's currently doing the same in his choice of ambassadors now and will still get hailed by you when it inevitably backfires and he attempts to fix it. We can't continue to be running a government on trial and error. This isn't the Tinubu that was sold to us as having the ability to hunt for talents to work with. His entire cabinet and choice of appointees is lacklustre and underwhelming.
PoliticsRe: Pressure Mounts On Tinubu To Sack Matawalle by AMINDA: 12:46am On Dec 02, 2025
So without the U.S putting pressure on Tinubu, he would have actually stuck with Badaru and Matawalle until the end of his tenure? Goes to show what his priorities are. That whole "He knows how to spot talents" talk were all lies. Just like the "He built Lagos" narrative.
PoliticsRe: Ribadu: Abducted Niger Schoolchildren Are Doing Fine, They Will Return Soon by AMINDA: 8:23pm On Dec 01, 2025
Lol. They are doing fine? In the bush or perhaps they are lodged in a five-star hotel?
PoliticsRe: NNPP Crisis: Kwankwaso Loses As Court Affirms Agbo Major Leadership by AMINDA: 7:45pm On Dec 01, 2025
Look at all the activated Agbadorians in my mention. Of course, Tinubu is also not involved in the PDP, it's just Wike. He's also not involved in the LP, it's just Abure. He has plausible deniability. Continue to bury your heads in the sand. Political parties used to be viable platforms until his ascension to power. It's the Lagos template and it's no coincidence. You all can continue to pretend. Not everyone is naïve.
Foreign AffairsRe: Cameroonian Opposition Leader, Anicet Ekan, Dies In Detention by AMINDA: 4:50pm On Dec 01, 2025

In all situation here in Nigeria. God will always give us the option to thank Him. Atiku and Obi need to do giveaway
We know that's where Nigeria is headed but he can only try. Nigeria is too too big for that.
PoliticsRe: Gov. Umo Eno Commends Udom Emmanuel, For Rallying Support For President Tinubu by AMINDA: 4:48pm On Dec 01, 2025
Udom spoke generally as an elder statesman would but this one is really trying to milk it. Tells you how bad the situation is at home. Akwa Ibomites will find it hard to vote Umo Eno even if Udom decamps to the APC today.

Principles are not absolute. They are subject to change based on circumstances.
Maybe in that region where you come from. For other Nigerians, a man's word is bond.

PoliticsRe: NNPP Crisis: Kwankwaso Loses As Court Affirms Agbo Major Leadership by AMINDA: 4:42pm On Dec 01, 2025
The courts continue to be used to destroy all opposition parties through procured judgements. What is Tinubu afraid of? I thought the 36 state governors have already decamped? Kwankwaso decamping to the APC under duress will still not save him. Hard as they try, a Paul Biya scenario will never succeed in a country like Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu’s Muslim–Muslim Ticket Genocide Against Christians - Dachomo by AMINDA: 4:38pm On Dec 01, 2025
Really? But NgeneUkwenu said Northcentral Christians are lining up and falling over themselves to vote Tinubu in 2027.
PoliticsRe: It’s Against My Principles To Work With Tinubu,” - Reno by AMINDA: 4:34pm On Dec 01, 2025
Don't also forget Femi Fani Kayode too. Who;

- Mocked Tinubu as a drug addict who "slurs when he speaks," needs "20 pills" to function, and shakes while eating; accused him of incoherence without substances.

- Called Tinubu Buhari's "principal night soil collector and chief slave" for betraying past anti-Buhari stance (e.g., 2003 quote labeling Buhari a "religious fanatic"wink

- Blasted Tinubu for callous response to #EndSARS killings, blaming victims and brushing atrocities "under the carpet"; called it "insulting and shameful."

- Berated Tinubu for not standing to greet Ooni of Ife, deeming it "insulting" and lacking cultural respect.

- Accused him of "selling Nigeria to Buhari for selfish interest," bragging as an "affront to God," and being a "nemesis" via PDP persecution; called his broadcasts "comic relief" and "garbage."

Same man is now on Ambassadorial list.

Zero integrity from both the appointor and appointee. Agbadorians say Tinubu has forgiven them but it's rather looking like he has bribed them and bought their silence and support with taxpayer's money.
PoliticsRe: Northern Forum Urges Northern Senators To Confirm Reno Omokri As Ambassador by AMINDA: 4:11pm On Dec 01, 2025
Ttalk:
Nothing consign you with Tinubu decision, it is his prerogative to forgive and there's nothing anyone can do.

When Batist discuss, Atikulators should pack one side. Since when have you started fighting Tinubu's cause?
You personally created this thread barely 24 hours ago. Were you reprimanded on your WhatsApp group? Like Ttalk, like Reno, like Tinubu. All birds of the same feather.

DomPerignon:
Person wey dem yab don forgive and even reward Reno.

Nah people who will never smell Aso rock dey para.

Reno Stars 10 vs 0 Biafra Wanderers
You all don't get it, do you? It's not a yab, he dared Tinubu to take him to court. Instead of doing so, Tinubu is offering him money and appointments. That's not forgiveness, that's bribery and appeasement. The same was the case with Bosun, Bwala and FFK. Reno hasn't recanted his assertions, to the best of the knowledge of Nigerians. Nigeria is not Tinubu's real estate for him to do as he pleases. He must be accountable to Nigerians and Nigerians should have a say on their representatives. Tinubu should have rather appointed him as his principal private secretary who will draw his salary from Tinubu's own account, not on taxpayer's money.
PoliticsRe: How Did Reno Omokri Become Tinubu's Friend? by AMINDA: 1:39pm On Dec 01, 2025
Guestmale:
Which of the Nigeria politicians today is truly above board, just mention one.
A sitting president should be seen to be or at least pretend to try. He sets the example for others in the country to imbibe. Otherwise, he's not fit for the role. Whataboutism will not cut it. We can't continue like this.
PoliticsRe: How Did Reno Omokri Become Tinubu's Friend? by AMINDA: 1:01pm On Dec 01, 2025
Guestmale:
That is the mystery it will take a very long time for the oppositions to break. But one thing me I can see and say is that he doesn't believe in permanent enemies or friend in politics but permanent interest and as you have rightly said it makes no sense to die or kill because of a Nigeria politician.
What is politics without morality or ethics? We are talking about the president of a country here, who must be seen to be above board.
PoliticsRe: How Did Reno Omokri Become Tinubu's Friend? by AMINDA:
PulaPower:
People with viable instinct don’t think too much about the yesterday, tomorrow is always the focus..

Besides, Reno didn’t do anything outside political space. Everything he said about Jagaban was all due to politics. Reno is in Pdp and it’s only normal he went Gaga over oppositions..

After everything Reno said, he later found out that those allegations are not through. Reno personally went to Chicago himself to verify Tinubu and he was surprised that Tinubu actually graduated..

Lastly, Tinubu is a man that doesn’t hold bitterness at heart. This was why he was able to lead many men. He understands that as a man, you can make mistakes..

Believe it or not, Tinubu is a man many men wants to be. Tinubu is also a man many women wants as their husband… Women only value strong men, a weakling is not a man to dem females..
Lol. Show proof of Reno recanting the drug dealing allegations. You cannot conveniently skip that. We all know why he is buying off the likes of Reno, FFK and Bwala. He's trying to prevent them from doing damage to an already battered reputation. But he need not bother. He that is down need fear no fall.

Wasn't that what you all chanted during Tinubu's campaign? Only to turn back around and backstab him after winning.

You really got the gist. A-grade pressing of moumou button. They really know those "most intelligent tribe in Africa".
Agbadorians are really jittery. Must you recruit other regions to join you in your hate campaign? 2027 will be the reawakening of the old Northern-Southeastern alliance. Get used to it.

I agree, the man’s political sagacity will be seriously tested yet again. Just amazed at how he played Baba Iyabo in 2003, when PDP swept the entire south west, except for Lagos. 2027 will be a much bigger test. Was not a fan of any of the frontline presidential candidates in 2023, but I’ve got to say the man is an expedient class act in naija politics.
He did not play Baba Iyabo. Atiku Abubakar, the then V.P interceded on his behalf. Nigeria had actually moved on from that style of politics until Tinubu came and has seemingly resurrected it in an even worse way. Maybe it's a Southwest thing. The only thing that should count in a democracy is the people's will.
PoliticsRe: Fresh Tension In Rivers As Fubara Faces Stfff Criticism By Rivers Speakers, by AMINDA: 11:51am On Dec 01, 2025
LibertyRep:
It'll take just one more trigger to regain that public sympathy. Just one more and I'm sure he won't miss the opportunity.
Fubara was hiding in Rivers state government house under Wike's immunity, wanted by the EFCC for corruption and misappropriation until his election. He will not dare contest if his owner does not want him to.
PoliticsRe: 2026: Accord Party Promises Adeleke Governorship Ticket Waiver by AMINDA: 11:48am On Dec 01, 2025
press9jatv:
I commend Alhaji Adeoti for finally removing himself from the camp of shameless betrayers, backbiting political opportunists and fake Omoluabis! This is only a step out of many steps I expect him to take henceforth. The next step is to meet Baba Bisi Akande and apologize for going against the norms of progressive politics by allowing a diminishing, grandstanding hypocrite to use him for a long time. As a renowned progressive who fell, you must now rise back to progressive politics by realigning yourself with the APC, give your ultimate loyalty to President Tinubu and say byebye to jatijati!

Ayekooto Akindele ✍️
Seen. But the topic is about Adeleke and Accord party. Do you see Aregbesola in your dreams? This is not the behaviour of someone who thinks another is irrelevant.
PoliticsRe: Fresh Tension In Rivers As Fubara Faces Stfff Criticism By Rivers Speakers, by AMINDA: 11:44am On Dec 01, 2025
LibertyRep:
Overdo dey worry them for their.

If they move hard again, Fubara should just leave the state for them and then recontest in another party.
Who will vote for him after throwing his supporters under the bus? Senator Natasha served out her suspension and came back swinging and defiant with her head unbowed, knees unbent and spirit unbroken. Fubara served his and came back with his tail tucked between his legs. There are levels to this thing.

Always knew it was the plan from the day go.
Tinubu planned it well. Divide from within while acting disgruntled at the presidency.
So El Rufai's base will be split.
Well played.
Lol. So Amaechi is now working for Tinubu? You lot are impossible. Anyways, Tinubu's political deftness will be tested come 2027. Time is a gentleman.

Gotocourt:
Wike had a valid good reason to support Tinubu 📌💯.
But Atiku is no longer in the PDP and PDP has zoned its ticket to the South, why then is Wike still doing everything he can to ensure the PDP doesn't field a candidate? Don't forget that Wike kicked against the micro-zoning of PDP ticket to the Southeast and still lobbied to be Vice to Atiku after losing the PDP primaries. It was never about the South.
PoliticsRe: I Will Not Be Anyone's VP, I Am Running For President - Amaechi by AMINDA: 11:10am On Dec 01, 2025
SmartPolician:
Atiku should calm down and support someone from the South. How can Buhari waste 8 years in office and Atiku wants to continue from where he stopped? His greed for power will just help Tinubu to win.
Is Tinubu allowing any other person from the South to contest? Why did he destroy the Labour party and is using Wike to ensure that the PDP doesn't field a candidate despite zoning their ticket to the South? Una think say una wise abi?
PoliticsRe: Senate Divided Over Reno Omokri’s Nomination As Past ‘Drug Baron’ Remark by AMINDA: 10:48am On Dec 01, 2025
This is the character that Tinubu wants to send out to represent the country internationally. No wonder our global reputation is in the gutters under his watch. A president should be seen to have a sense of morality and self-respect. Buying out your critics with money and appointments is not political deftness nor master strategy. It's an admittance of guilt.

The bigger question is, what's in it for hard-core Agbadorians? Tinubu has proven times without number that he prioritizes later day converts over them. Their outbursts on twitter a few months ago about "reward system" has clearly fallen on deaf ears. If a charlatan like Reno is qualified to be an ambassador, any one of them can.
