I lost large chunk of family property to FG and State government projects in Lagos, we embraced it as our contribution and sacrifice toward the growth of Lagos state. Who are the Obidients and who are the sensible Southerners? Last time I checked, Tinubu won only 4 SW states from the entire South. Obidients swept the rest of the South. Out of desperation, Tinubu is afraid not to upset the apple cart. He wants to maintain status quo. All elective members get to keep their positions while the decampees are also promised automatic tickets without recourse to other aspirants. No room for internal democracy nor a proper reward system for those who have been loyal and have neen building the party. It can only end one way.

Is he also uniting the Southern people or he's only concerned with the governors? Ebonyi, Imo, Cross River were APC states in 2023, show us Tinubu's numbers in those states in 2023. The governors all won their re-election but failed to deliver Tinubu. This was also the case in Lagos and several other states with APC governors across the country. Tinubu is highly unpopular and he would still not win the South, despite his obsession with hounding, inducing, intimidating (SOE), threatening and forgiving (Okowa) governors to get them to decamp.

What about Yahaya Bello and Ifeanyi Okowa? Are they no longer on the list because they now support Tinubu? Atiku's in-law is being hounded because they suspect he might fund Atiku’s campaign but his alleged accomplices including Ojulari continue to maintain their positions and walk free. Someone is just being paranoid and jittery.

What kind of democracy are we suddenly practicing under Tinubu as we head into 2027?

Tinubu cannot enjoy dictatorship privileges while still claiming to be practising democracy. He must choose one. He either be a democrat or come out as a full-fledged dictator, of which the military will prove to be better dictators than he is. Political parties must be allowed to exist in a democracy.
