Factcheck0001:Recruitment into the Nigerian Army is not a Lagos state government initiative. He's free to publicise adverts into the Lagos state civil service and make it solely for Lagos indigenes. This one is bad for optics, especially in this highly divisive period. |
Wike will attempt to be in the ballot under the PDP in 2027. He would initially claim it is a strategy to grab the ticket in order to endorse Tinubu, but it will be a ruse. Just watch and see. |
See the advert being done by the Lagos state government on an Army Recruitment. Peep the for "Lagos State Indigenes" only. Let it be on record who began the open politicisation and ethnicization of the Nigerian Army. It's laudable to drive recruitment into the Army but this is a very wrong way to go about it. The Nigerian Army has no tribe nor religion.
|
The jitters, fear and trepidation is palpable. Campaign for the president by a wanted man in 2025 in clear violation of INEC guidelines? It does not give the confidence of someone who claims to have the 36 state governors and all senators in his corner. What could be wrong? |
Reno Omokri already took this Dangote gig before the scandal so he has to go through with it. Please bear with him. Even the frontpage space are probably procured. |
Reno Omokri has always been a compulsive liar right from his Wendell Simlin days. He made similar videos claiming to own a lamborghini and other fleet of cars. A man in his fifties for that matter. |
gidgiddy:What does restructuring mean? The North is not averse to restructuring. Elrufai was the chairman of the APC committee on restructuring that submitted their comprehensive report to the party since 2018. Tell Tinubu to implement the recommendations of that committee, the North wholeheartedly welcomes it.
|
Look at the skewness of his appointments and projects, does he strike you as someone who intends to restructure Nigeria to benefit anyone asides himself and his assets in Lagos? |
Let's have the details. At least, Primate Ayodele, the same man who prophesied that Tinubu will not get re-elected predicted this one correctly.
|
Madmohamed1:I think you may have a lot of information to volunteer to the DSS. |
seunmsg:Lol. So what are you going to do with a Kwankwaso? Replace Shettima in place of him? APC currently has silent tussles that is threatening to tear the party apart in several states. There's no way that everyone can be satisfactorily accommodated. The implosion and/or sabotage is just a matter of time. Be also wary of the "Greek Gift". States like Kano, Yobe, Bauchi, Jigawa, Zamfara, Benue and others are dealing with a very serious internal crisis which has already taken a dimension to destroy the APC party. In Kano, some APC stakeholders have already started endorsing SEN. Barau Jibrin Maliya as their candidate while others are endorsing the 2023 APC gubernatorial candidate, HON. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna. And the crisis has already spread across some local governments and Federal constituencies like Tarauni LG where APC party LG Chairman publicly disowned Hon. Nasiru Ja’oji an aspirant for REP and endorsed his rival. Rumors are also circulating that Sen. Barau is trying to takeover the APC party leadership from former Governor Ganduje in 2026 APC congress. In Yobe it’s already hot between Gov Mai Mala Buni and Sen. Ahmad Lawal, there is a rumor that Sen. Ahmad Lawal former Senate President is aspiring for Yobe state Governor in 2027 and all this feud started from that day…. when last did you see Gov Buni and Sen Lawal together in an occasion or special visit?? In Jigawa, it’s beyond comprehension. Gov Umar Namadi Danmodi and his predecessor current Minister of Defense Badaru Abubakar is in serious crisis which has already create a faction in the state, the rumors are spreading like wildfire that Gov Umar Namadi Danmodi has sidelined all Badaru’s people in his administration, he neither consult nor visit Badaru, his target is to takeover the state party leadership in the upcoming APC congress. Gov Umar Namadi aides are sponsoring musicians to sang a song to troll the former Governor Badaru and his people. In facts, currently all Badaru’s people have resigned from Gov Umar Namadi administration and are opposing and challenging its policies in Jigawa state. They called Gov Namadi as AMBODE. In Bauchi, it’s a different story, the APC 2023 gubernatorial candidate Retired Air marshal Saddique Baba Abubakar is already seeing in coalition meetings with Atiku and other opposition leaders, there are about 5 Governorship aspirants from APC in Bauchi state including the current Foreign Minister Amb. Tugga, Alhaji Bala Wunti, current minister of Health, Prof Muhammad Pate….. crisis may possibly burst in Bauchi after the 2026 primaries. In Benue, the rift is beyond my understanding, the feud between the current Governor Alia and Secretary to the Federal Government, Sen. George Akume, rumors spreading that the feud between the Governor and the SGF is connected to state party leadership, the Gov and SGF want to be in charge of controlling the state party leadership. There are also pressure against the Benue State Governor by Benue state Federal Lawmakers accusing him of running Benue like Parish. These are Northern states only, I won't dwell on the Southern states the likes of Delta and others. Tinubu was smart enough to leave the party structure in Osun in the grip of his cousin, Oyetola by preventing the defection of Adeleke. Selfishness. |
Tinubu will trade the political ambition of anyone and everyone in the Plateau APC to get Muftwang to decamp. He doesn't care about anybody's political aspirations except his. They will soon ask the question they asked all PDP governors to get them to decamp after destroying the party, "who will sign your INEC forms?" The defections are barely organic, more like coerced and induced. |
What position is Wike contesting for again? Isn't he an appointee of the president? He sometimes forgets and go out of character. Is he about to double-cross Tinubu and run for presidency? No wonder Tinubu banned his monthly media chat. |
Softmirror:Yes we know. Shape-shifting and being morally flexible is a past-time to those of you from that side but don't attempt to think it's a general thing. Over here, we hold people accountable for their words and deeds. "Reno Omokri is a reptile" - Mike Arnold |
I am now convinced that the Reptilian, Reno Omokri, is indeed the owner of this account. I just went through his profile. All the threads were about himself and they all made frontpage. Could they be sponsored? Nairalanders, what's happening? |
seunmsg:Indeed. If the electorates of the other South feel well carried along under Tinubu's obviously Yorubacentric government, who am I to say otherwise. I have no dog in the fight, but that's not the feelers we've been getting. Tinubu has succeeded though, in getting all their politicians to decamp with the promise of a return ticket and organising all elections on a single day, it remains to be seen how the real voters in the region will react to that or whether their votes shall even be consequential. |
Ttalk:Ok |
Ttalk:Okay. Is it the South that is in power now or the Yorubas? The North made Tinubu president with 5.6m votes. He did not win the South. Bottomline, you cannot "handover" power to anyone. It was given to you in the first place by the North. |
ChiefOloye:I wish Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga, Wike and Festus Keyamo share in your optimism that he can contest. They wouldn't have been sending Tompolo to convince him not to. They obviously know better than you do. |
seunmsg:If all these turn out to be true, you will simply find another excuse and justification for it. What is hidden in the dark will eventually reveal itself. |
Penguin2:No one is giving any ticket to anyone. If Obi cannot defeat Atiku in a primary, then he cannot defeat Tinubu in the general election. Or will he demand that Tinubu hands power over to him after demanding for the ticket in the primary? If the South unites behind Tinubu and it's enough to get him reelected, then so be it. Tinubu has already tactically disenfranchised Obi if the Sahara Report is true. Power will return to the North whether in 2027 or 2031. The only question will be what's in it for the South, especially the Southeast? They can either align themselves with the North to have one foot in the corridor of power like the SW did in 2015, or hand over their heads to Tinubu to continue to break coconut on while insulting them. |
This explains the wave of defections. The Northern governors will be at a disadvantage if this materialises. Tinubu is clearly desperate and jittery despite having the 36 state governors. Paul Biya the "master strategist" will trade anyone and bend the rules of the game just to have his way, but he's simply unelectable. This will become clearer, heading into 2026. |
Penguin2:Time is a gentleman. All I can tell you is that Atiku polled 7m votes in 2023 when the general sentiment even amongst most Northerners was for power to shift to the South. SaharaReporters is reporting that Tinubu has already struck a deal with Southern governors for all elections to hold on same day in November 2026 and for electronic transmission of results at polling units to be done away with, hence the wave of defections you see. If this materialises, can Obi still win the South as a lone candidate? https://saharareporters.com/2025/10/17/exclusive-tinubu-strikes-secret-deal-southern-governors-conduct-all-elections-one-day

Trump Senior Adviser indeed. Why does Tinubu keep meeting with this same Boulos guy time after time. Is he the only connection Tinubu has to the West? They met in Paris barely 4 months ago. He's from a Lebanese family with business interests in Nigeria. This photo ops was probably arranged by Chagoury. Tinubu needs real diplomacy to handle this impending pressure from the West, not theatrics.
|
He has A1 in crooked politics but F9 in administration and governance. |
Penguin2:Have you checked the latest figures from the INEC voters registration data? If all the Southern governors are decamping to the APC like you confirm, what then is Peter Obi's leverage? For context, the North gave Tinubu over 65% of his votes in 2023 with 5.6m votes. The North also gave Atiku close to 7m votes while giving Kwankwaso 1.5m votes. Obi also got over half of his votes from the Northcentral/Middlebelt. Numbers don't lie but you have to do the math. |
Wasn't this obvious? Tinubu desecrated the memory of Herbert Macaulay by granting him a pardon. What offence did he commit against the Nigerian state? He was only indicted by the colonisers for fighting for our independence or is Tinubu now a slave master? He simply added Herbert Macaulay and Mamman Vatsa to hide the other shady names he included on the list. |
Lol. Reptilian PR merchant and pen-for-hire. Reno sure loves his photo ops of false self importance. Borrow-pose. |
Yet again, these news will never feature in any other media except SaharaReporters. There's massive news suppression ongoing. |
seunmsg:Simply shows that Tinubu's diplomatic reach is paper thin and limited. His US friends were all democrats that the Trump tsunami have swept away, leaving him exposed. This is where seasoned diplomats and ambassadors with years of experience could have helped. He keeps recycling meetings with this same guy who's more like an acquaintance via Chagoury just for the photo ops. |
blamingthedevil:You forgot to mention that the Boulous are a Lebanese family with long standing business interests in Nigeria. This was probably arranged by Chagoury. Tinubu needs ambassadors and seasoned diplomats and he needs them fast. All these photo ops won't suffice. He's also meeting with this same guy for the second time this year. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/787564-what-tinubu-discussed-with-trumps-advisor-official.html?tztc=1

motayoayinde:Reno Omokri and the NSA, Nuhu Ribadu invited him. Next! |
