Ttalk:Why not? Tinubu pardoned Sunday Igboho, drug dealers, hired killers, husband killers, arm dealers, and is actively negotiating with terrorists via "peace deals." What could be worse? |
Wike claims his administration and that of Tinubu is the best ever in the history of the FCT. |
Changes nothing. Delta had an incumbent governor and a Vice Presidential candidate in Okowa but still couldn't deliver the state. Umahi and Uzodinma also comfortably won their gubernatorial but failed to deliver Tinubu. |
Like Reno Omokri, like Daniel Bwala. Isn't this becoming embarrassing to the presidency? It's now clear that the shambolic gig-gone-wrong by Reno Omokri that was carried out in governor Amuneke style, had the full backing of the presidency. How do they think they can govern a nation through deceit, lies and propaganda? |
Lobbying successful. Embargo finally lifted. Separating Wike from the media is akin to castrating him. |
Sad. Due to news suppression, this news will never grace any conventional news media. Thank God for SaharaReporters. May we have leaders who prioritise results and truth over optics. |
The Paul Biya wannabe will be so proud. A chip off the old block. |
Yet here you are, creating a thread about the ADC. Where is Obi leaving to? He's aligned with the ADC but he's not even a registered member of the party yet. Obi will contest the primaries of the ADC, just like Amaechi, Atiku and the others. There will be no free ticket. Anyone who thinks otherwise is very welcome to try an alternative or vote Tinubu. Don't open another thread on this again. |
esnbrutality:You forgot the Chief Tailor, NgeneUkwenu! |
vanvik1234:Continue to bury your head in the sand. Are you also asking what is wrong with the LP and what is wrong with the SDP, and what nearly went wrong with the ADC? What is wrong is that a Paul Biya wannabe has used state powers and the advantage of incumbency to ensure that there's no other opposition party in the country. A combination of inducement, coercion, intimidation, state of emergency, clampdown, EFCC, etc. It reeks of both fear and dictatorship. ADC's party secretariat just got burnt down this morning in Ekiti state. This isn't democracy.

franklytru:"The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command." - George Orwell, 1984 |
Nigerians, welcome to George Orwell's 1984. "The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command." |
All these obsession with other arms of government that should be autonomous and financially independent is a misnomer. Abuja is turning into a filthy city and a slum but they are majorly interested in building houses for judges and auditoriums for law schools. |
"Paul Biya Wannabe" will absolutely love this. This is just a dress rehearsal. |
"Tinubu is only taxing the rich" - Agbadorians Meanwhile, e dey reach everybody. |
orisa37:Are they? Even before the alleged coup plot, we saw the police and thugs disrupting ADC meetings in Kaduna, Lagos, Kebbi, Katsina and several states. Meanwhile, APC are holding public campaigns and rallies in Kaduna, Lagos, Kogi, etc in clear violation of INEC guidelines while APC governors like that of Benue and Edo were telling opposition figures not to step foot in their states. The coup allegation may just be another decoy to double down on the clampdown of opposition. Nigeria is gradually becoming a police state. |
It's becoming obvious Seyi personally fixed several of his friends and cronies into government positions just to gain patronage such as this. State capture in full view. Ministers and heads of agencies becoming subservient to the "first son" in full view. Using our commonwealth to build a reputation as a "giver". |
givedemwotowoto:Hypocrites, the lot of them all. They are all unravelling fast. All of them who never allowed Buhari a minute of respite are now aligning behind their tribesman and/or paymaster. We see it all. |
Akinboboz:According to Agbadorians, these are the list of people that have betrayed their tin-god; Aregbesola, Ambode, Fayemi, Fashola, Osinbajo, Sanwo-olu (he funded Atiku), etc. The betrayal tag is how Tinubu has continued to hold on to Lagos 25 years after ruling the state and also why the SW has no known successor in the leadership hierarchy, except for Seyi who's been prepped for governor. By the way, Aregbesola did more for Osun than Tinubu did for Lagos, if you factor the resources at their disposal. Goodbye. |
Good riddance if true. He can now decamp to the APC. The ADC is founded on discipline and party supremacy. The party must not allow the kind of crisis and greed that sank the PDP and LP to fester. The ADC expects all the politicians who have a price to be procured by the APC. That's what the subsidy savings are being used for. |

This one still remains passionate about positioning strategically to embezzle campaign funds. |
zero8zero:None. The North made him president, but muslim-muslim will no longer give him any advantage in the North. That's why he has become an emergency lover of the South but he will still not win the South, except Yorubaland. |
zero8zero:Muslim-Muslim was a net positive for Tinubu, that's why he did it in the first place. Rather, he would no longer benefit from the advantage that Muslim-Muslim gave him in 2023. That explains why he's doing a campaign rally in 2025 against INEC guidelines while thugs and the police are sent to scatter mere meetings of opposition. He's jittery. |
asfrank:What was wrong with Elrufai's "bodybag" comment? He only said any foreigner who thinks they can interfere in our electoral process should be prepared to leave in a bodybag. What's wrong with that? |
olabrad:Is news suppression under this government a joke to you? Lol. |
"Only the Guilty are Afraid" - James Hardley Chase |
delugadou:Lol, you wish. No self-respecting Southsoutherner will see a Goodluck Jonathan on the ballot and proceed to vote Tinubu. No self-respecting Northerner that wants to vote a Southerner will see a Goodluck Jonathan on the ballot and proceed to vote Tinubu. There's a reason why he's doing everything to destroy all opposition parties and ensuring the PDP's convention does not take place. Tinubu's only pathway to re-election is to run unopposed. As long as the election holds and he has opposition, he will lose. |
donmixc:Lol. When will you Yorubas stop this unity begging? You all are trying too hard to make Tinubu the "Southern candidate". It's not working. He was the Yoruba president for the Yorubas until a few months ago. |
oyichi:That will be the case until Tinubu picks a side. Then the implosion will begin. He can't pick all sides, there lies the landmine. This is the situation in most APC states currently. It's even worse in opposition states where Tinubu is handing over party structures to defectees. The cracks in APC Kogi state are beginning to show. The Yahaya Bello/Ododo bloc vs the Faleke/Audu bloc. |
