Are Igbos allowed to vote in freely in Lagos? The governors of Edo and Sunday Igboho just warned Peter Obi and Atiku not to come campaign in their states and region and nothing has been done about it. If the Southeast doesn't vote Tinubu in 2027, where then will his voyes come from? Tinubu boycotted the Southeast in 2023 because he had Northern support. No, re-election bids have not always been like this. Throwing billions of naira at governors and clerics to get yourself re-elected despite being very unpopular is not normal. It simply shows that he is not seeking leadership for the sake of the people but for personal aggrandisement. This is where funds from subsidy savings and taxation are going towards while the 2024, 2025 and 2026 budgets remain unlargely unfunded.

PDP has only one option left for survival; adopt Wike as the National Leader and agree to whatever terms he wants. Concede the presidency to him and put up candidates in all other elective positions. PDP still has the grassroots structure more than any other opposition party in Nigeria. They will even do far better than ADC in state and legislative elections.

This is the time for them to quit being emotional and be pragmatic. Settle with Wike and salvage whatever can be salvaged or keep fighting him and lose everything. Shouldn’t be a difficult decision to make.

Didn't you read it clearly from the article? Is ADC paying any sign-on allowance or are they using corruption and terrorism charges as a stick to whip governors in line? Where is the jubilation in the streets? But for the political deftness and wisdom of other politicians who came together to form the ADC, there will be no opposition party today. It has never been this bad. Tinubu is still highly unpopular among the voting electorates and his only pathway to re-election is to contest unopposed.

Owerri Ricky Ross alias Malaysian Burger did not support Peter Obi in 2023. He was a member of the APC. If he did, it was anti-party and who's to say he won't do the same in 2027 after cashing out from Seyi?

The N34m capital is a big lie. As at today, all 2024 capital allocation has been cleared. 30% of all 2025 capital has been released while the 70% balance have been rolled over to 2026. Once the 2026 budget is passed into law, implementation will begin immediately. By the way, the CBN Governor handles monetary policy and not fiscal policy. Budget implementation falls into the realm of fiscal policy and that is the business of the Finance Ministry which is now headed by the erudite Taiwo Oyedele. Wale Edun has served meritoriously no matter what. He was part of those that rescued the economy from collapse in 2023.

Lol. It's the middle of March and we are still talking about "once the 2026 budget is passed into law". This is already a clear pointer that significant portions of the budget will not be implemented, thereby, rolled into next year. This has never happened before until Tinubu. Buhari and his team worked hard and handed over a January to December budget cycle to Tinubu.

Wale Edun fumbled by revealing the true financial situation of our unfunded budget deficit to the tune of 30 trillion after Tinubu himself had come out to say we have met our revenue target. He should have known better than to go against Paul Biya wannabe. He had it coming.

However, it's pertinent to be reminded that Tinubu has played no part in his detention.

1) It was the Kaduna State House of Assembly (KSHA) that wrote a petition against him concerning his financial malfeasance while he held sway as the Governor of the State.

2) Without being under any form of duress, he told a bewildered nation on national television that he had the phone lines of the NSA wiretapped.

3) He equally accused the ONSA of importing a poisonous substance (thallium sulphate) without any evidence to back his claim.

The onus is therefore on him to prove his innocence concerning the funds of Kaduna State and disclose how he wiretapped the phone lines and the importation of the alleged thallium sulphate.

Hell Ruffian simply engaged himself in a danse macabre!

Is it usually out of fear that you lot try to exonerate Tinubu from all that he does behind the scenes or it's out of cowardice? Elrufai has been the one asking to be charged to court but all Tinubu has been doing thus far is getting perpetual injunction to keep him in detention without charge. So he's guilty of the said offence until he proves his innocence in ICPC detention right? Is that the new modus operandi under Tinubu's democracy? More info will come to light in the coming days about the Thallium Sulphate. The government is already acting like like they are scared by detaining him to prevent him from leaking more "secrets". Like he has always maintained, "charge him to court".

No single individual can make any candidate to win an election.

That the Hell Ruffian played a prominent role in the emergence of Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election is not in doubt.

However, being a contributor to the victory of Mr President is not enough for him to go berserk for being rejected by the Senate.

His bitterness after being rejected by the Senate made him to throw caution to the wind.

When did he become Hell Ruffian? Was it before or after he answered questions for a stammering Tinubu at Chatham house and rallied the North against cabals to make Tinubu president? Also when did he become corrupt? Was it before or after? Betrayal is not a virtue and you cannot dictate how a man betrayed should act. Elrufai was minister 20 years ago and it was public knowledge that he didn't want to be a part of Tinubu's cabinet. Tinubu begged him publicly on stage in Kaduna to rescind his plans. You lot now call the betrayal master strategy. It has always been Tinubu's plans to undermine influential Northern politicians in order to carry out what he's currently doing.

Elrufai would speak out whether or not he's a part of Tinubu's cabinet. He did the same under Buhari and even wrote him a memo on the perceived neglect of some APC members after winning election.
