Akpakomiza2:Which governor will forgo 500 billion naira to join the ADC for free? How many governors delivered their states to Tinubu in 2023? |
psalmsjob:Tinubu considers Saraki a Northerner that's why virtually all appointments meant for the Northcentral are given to individuals from the Yoruba-speaking parts of Kogi and Kwara. No one had accused Tinubu of being pro-South. He has only being accused of pushing an ethnic agenda to the detriment of other tribes and regions, even in the South. |
Does the AGF think he can wish this away? Why come out to lie that a dispute has been resolved when it's easily verifiable that it has not? Tinubu can't govern Nigeria on propaganda and lies. Nigerians deserve accountability. |
ChiefOloye:Wake up and smell the coffee. Yesterday, it was Gawuna. Ganduje's men are leaving the APC in droves. That should tell you the current mindset of their principal. Who will now deliver Tinubu in Kano? Abba Kabir? |
dgitrader:Well, the North gave Tinubu 5.6m votes after he was resoundingly rejected in the South. In other words, the so-called "hausa fulani hegemony" made Tinubu president when he failed in 14 Southern states out of 17. Where is the arrogance coming from? Tinubu is still yet to consolidate support in the entire South. He camouflages it with defected governors but the pulse of the voting electorates are clearly not with him. Tinubu should immediately step aside and support Obi before it's too late. |
Another Ganduje ally makes the switch. Apart from upsetting the balance of power and scuttling ambitions of hitherto loyal allies in Kano, what has Tinubu gained from poaching Abba Kabir? He didn't gain Kwankwaso and is clearly now losing Ganduje as well. At best, the APC campaign in Kano will be lacklustre. Without Ganduje's willing structure, Abba is a political lightweight. Another disaster-class from the master tragedist. |
Corner corner master. Will anyone beat you if you come out bold to say you support Tinubu? Why are people often ashamed to publicly admit that they support Tinubu even when it's obvious? You are friends with Wike whom Makinde told us from day one had a meeting with Tinubu where it was agreed he would "hold down" the party for the president, yet, it doesn't mean that you support Tinubu. Who's fooling who? |
seunmsg:If Labour party was allowed to be a viable political party as it was in 2023, there would have neen no need for a coalition today. In trying to be crookedly clever, your man Friday has shot himself in the foot. He is now desperate and has been trying to do whatever it takes to also destroy the ADC. He cannot win in 2027 unless he is the sole candidate on the ballot. Thanks to Tinubu, the first, second and third runners-up from 2023 have aligned under one umbrella. This was not the outcome he envisaged.
|
Galactics:Because it is his democratic right. Is that a crime? |
Allowed? Obi was a Southerner, why did Tinubu disenfranchise him from the Labour party if he wanted a fellow Southerner to contest against him? Saraki has shamelessly become a Wike lackey that is hell-bent on making the party not to field a presidential candidate, despite having zoned its ticket to the South. |
lionshare:So if the "truth" is already known, why dwell on it? I thought Tinubu has abolished delegates system? There is no longer the excuse of dollarization. Whoever wants their candidate to emerge should organise and register enmass on the party's website in preparation for the direct primaries. |
Dumb. It's like saying Tinubu is blocking Obi's chances of winning the election by contesting. Atiku is an aspirant, just like Obi, Amaechi, Tinubu and other contestants are. He owes Obi nothing! Stop begging for the ticket to be served to you on a plate. It sounds pathetic. |
Tinubu will come for Sanwo-olu after his tenure as governor. His water carriers told us Sanwo-olu funded Atiku’s election in 2023. We wonder from what unlikely quarters Atiku’s funders will emanate from in 2027. |
Tinubu will come for Sanwo-olu after his tenure as governor. |
Like many other defectees, he was deceived and carried handicap by the APC who promised him senate ticket only for AA Sule to become interested in the ticket. He doesn't want to be one of those who will stay behind and work against the party. Seunmsg, food don done o. |
APC is already a walking corpse. It will be interred soon. |
Ironic coming from a man serving a president who has awarded over 18 trillion naira worth of projects to a business partner. Oando by Wale Tinubu acquired NNPC retail in the first few weeks of Tinubu's presidency and became one of the most valuable companies in the country. |
He said more flowery things about Elrufai and betrayed him on the first day of his ascension to power. Tinubu doesn’t believe you but he will use you nonetheless. |
Racoon:I will eventually prove to be correct in all my postulations. Time is a gentleman! Tinubu's ill-advised decision to poach all governors and politicians to the APC out of fear, has inadvertently upset the power equation in almost all states and destroyed the APC. The cracks will soon show. In Benue state, SGF George Akume's men are leaving the APC in droves to other political parties. |
Lol. We will all learn politics together! Ganduje's men, feeling betrayed, are fast abandoning ship and joining Kwankwaso at the ADC, leaving Abba Kabir with the burden of delivering himself and Tinubu.
|
Lol. Okay, Reno Omokri is also a member of NADECO? You fought Abacha and also fought Tinubu. Now you sing Tinubu's praises. If Abacha had lived long enough, you would have also sang his praises. |
Penguin2:I hope you have registered as an ADC member and have encouraged your people to do the same? There can only be direct primaries in the ADC or consensus. Power is not served on a plate. |
The implosion that will greet the APC after this National Convention will be one for the history books. Tinubu envisaged that and quickly rushed to amend the electoral act to forestall mass exodus but that won't prevent anti-party. |
aswani:You wish. Despite the North largely agreeing that power should head South in 2023, Atiku still managed to poll over 1m votes from the Northcentral. So Atiku is hated in the NW? Wishful thinking. Atiku won all Northwestern states except Zamfara and Jigawa. Tinubu only won the NW region overall because of the efforts of the likes of Elrufai (400k from Kaduna) and Ganduje (500k votes from Kano) and Atiku’s lacklustre performance in Kano. Fastforward to today, Tinubu has betrayed Elrufai, betrayed Ganduje (yes) and Kwankwaso is on his way to the ADC. The first, second and third runners-up from 2023 will be under one political umbrella. You can do the math. Tinubu does not have any concrete base outside of his Southwest and even that will be fragmented no matter what he does. Isn't it a little conspicuous that ALL political parties, even Accord, suddenly developed leadership crisis during Tinubu's regime? Continue to bury your head in the sand but don't expect us to do the same.

seunmsg:Update! Davematics have japada'd out of the APC after finding out he was carried handicap by the party. Will Nassarawa still be a one-way traffic? We are all learning politics together. https://x.com/sani_suleman_/status/2036552015241687303 |
mrvitalis:It will be far easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for Tinubu to win Akwa Ibom state but Tinubu's lackeys like Seunmsg from Ekiti will tell you Tinubu would win the state in a landslide. |
LordIsaac:Is Tinubu the candidate of the South? Did the South vote him? He only won in 4 SW states out of 17 Southern states. The North made him President. How is he performing? |
DoTheNeedful:Gentle reminder that the South didn't vote Tinubu. He only won 4 Southwestern states out of 17 Southern states. The North made Tinubu president with 5.6m votes. Tinubu didn't even win in Lagos and Osun but you expected ALL Northerners to vote Tinubu in a landslide as if Atiku is an outcast. How many votes did Buhari get from the Southwest. Did they vote for him in a landslide? That's not what the data says. Tinubu only got such huge votes from the North because respected individuals like Elrufai pricked the conscience of Northerners and urged them to keep their word. How has Tinubu repaid Northerners and his most loudest 2023 campaign champion from the North? Time is a gentleman. If it's really about the South and not Southwestern/Tinubu quest for power, he should have supported someone from the Southeast. Even after winning, he has proceeded to disenfranchise Obi by destroying the LP and even the PDP that already zoned its ticket to the South. Tinubu is not the preferred candidate of the South. |
No, he won't. The Southwest and the Northcentral remains the most politically diverse region in the country. Tinubu will win the Southwest but it won't be in a landslide. Attempts to use force and intimidation to coerce voters in the region will only cost the president votes in other regions. |
fergie001:My brother, we will all learn this politics together! |
We are witnessing Paul Biya in the making. |
JuanDeDios:Dey play na. Look at his slave chain insignia cap. It has now become a pass to do whatever you like in the country.
